Gorgeous boot! I had followed the recommendations of earlier reviews and bought a size down, which I had to return because I couldn't even get my foot in the boot. I have a high instep and moderately wide-ish feet but rarely buy anything in a wide. Zappos exchange policy is awesome and I received my new boots in my regular size the same day I sent the first pair back. The color is beautiful, a deep apple red and the leather is soft and of good quality. I still had a bit of a struggle getting these on but once I did they fit great and are comfortable so far, though I haven't really spent much time with them on. I could probably wear them with a jegging but the shaft fits well under jeans. I think they'll be gorgeous with skirts and I'm glad I bought them...just took off one star for the difficulty getting them on.

These boots are super comfortable and the fleece lining makes them warm enough to wear with regular dress socks in the winter. The upper is a little narrow for tucking in jeans but fits nicely under boot cut pants and is fine for tight skinny jeans. The brown is a little different than I expected--its seems more in the tan family than your typical brown. I wear a 10.5 and the 42 fits perfectly (the sizing conversion seems to be off).

I loved these boots but on the third day of wearing them, and not very long mind you, the lining on the bottom started coming up, crumpling up under my feet as I walked. The sole is flexible, rubber, and lighter than most boots of a similar style.

These boots fit great, and I love the soft, fuzzy lining--it really adds a nice amount of warmth for winter wear. I have wide calves, and these boots are perfect. The only thing that I'm not loving is the soles are made of a soft rubber, which is peeling off and scuffing up quite a bit as a wear them. I'll see how they do this season, but I may need to have them resoled in a year or so.

I love these boots. I found them true to size and love the look. They are not very tall but they are still perfect for jeans. My only complaint is that I've probably worn them 7 times and they are falling apart on the inside. The heel is also so worn you'd think I bought them last season. Granted, I live in NYC and do a lot of walking but I would think they would still hold up for more than a few weeks of wear.

I bought these in black at a local store & loved them so much I came here to see if other colors were available. The brown was such a bargain I ordered them right away -- but the color turns out to be dull, greyish, and cheap-looking. It's a very uniform color with no shading or variation, which makes it look fake. I'm returning them. Bottom line: The black is terrific, the brown yuck.

These are great winter boots. When I ordered them I did not know the are lined with a light weight fleece pile, not for Texas weather, had to return for another style.

These are great boots. They are a bit snug in the width but they quickly stretched out. The color is not even close to the picture. It has a faux distressed look on the heels and toe so these are not dressy, but are more for wearing with pants.

I wore these shoes 3 times and on the heel, the black coating is peeling off. I really like the shoes otherwise, I'm hoping that this was just a defective pair of shoes.

Cute boots, however I didn't like how short they were, and the brown was more grey in person. I think I would have kept them if the color was actually brown. I didn't think they were worth the price, so I sent them back.

I wish I hadn't read reviews saying this runs large. Not for me! I ordered a half size down, which I sometimes need, but it was too small. Reordered regular size and is fine.

This boot is really nice and I think that most would find it comfortable. Not me though, with my past toe surgery.

I love the look of these! After reading reviews, I ordered a 37. I usually wear a 7.5, which would be 38. But they arrived and are a bit too tight and small. No trouble slipping them on though like some. I'm ordering next size up, but not sending these back. If the 38 is huge, I may try to stretch the 37 out.

Very cute, high quality boot. Soft insulated inside makes them very warm and cozy for the winter! As stated in the previously comments, runs large length wise, so my usual 8.5 foot fits great in the 7.5-8 boot. Great purchase, I love them!

Not wild about the boots, did not like the black toe then the rest of it brown. More conservative than I thought. But they do make your feet look smaller.

I love the style of the Tan version of these the buckle and snap hardware is so much classier, the lining material is so soft, and the leather is just buttery. I ordered the Tan boot in size 39, and couldn't get my left foot into the shaft, it was so tight! My right arch is ever so slightly lower, so I was able to try on the right boot. These have no arch support, so I'd want to put in inserts, which means I need larger size. So I ordered size 40 in tan, but received the brown instead which has stiffer leather, a totally different (not soft) lining material, and completely different hardware (matches the photos here). What a disappointment! Zappos Customer Service was great, though, and took care of the problem though they don't have anymore of the Tan boots in stock.

These are beautiful inside and out, but they are much lighter in real life than in the picture. Also, they are quite narrow on the calf, so they don't look gappy/slouchy as much if you have wider calf (16 around top of boot for me). Even though they're booties, they're hard to take off, which defeats the purpose of booties in my mind. Next time, I'd get the full pair.

I got these boots in black, and I normally wear a size 11-11.5, so I thought about ordering a size 42. After reading all the reviews about them running large, I went with a size 41. They were too small, so I had to exchange them. I was happy with the black ones, so I also ordered the brown. The color doesn't look like the pic though, at least not the ones I ordered. In the pic they look dark brown, but in person they are more of a dark khaki color, so I'm returning them.

I took the advice of other reviewers and ordered down to the size 39 in brown (I usually wear a 9 - 9.5) which ended up being too tight. Unfortunately, since I was so excited about these boots, I wore them before I determined that they were just way too snug for me. The size 39 was lighter in color than the picture, but I really liked it. I ended up ordering another pair in my normal size, which is a great fit but the color is darker than the first pair - more like the picture here. Not sure why the colors aren't consistent between sizes. Also, while the size 39 arrived in an Eric Michael shoe box, the size 40 came in a generic unmarked brown cardboard box, which I thought was odd. Well, I'm keeping the 40, but now have another pair on my hands that I need to sell, but that's my own fault.

I bought the brown in a 39, I normally wear a 9-9.5 and usually scale down. They fit as expected, a little snug, but I did order on the small side. The brown is not a rich brown as I had been hoping, it is more of a charcoal grey-brown. I also ordered the tan, hoping for a nice rich brown, but those were practically orange! Not like what is pictured at all! Definitely returned those. I kept the brown and am now used to the color. They are super comfortable even when walking long distances (2-3 miles). Love the buckles and the leather is really soft. Great with skinny jeans and dresses.

Love the boots, but color is not even close to what is in the picture for "tan." When they arrived they were so light, more "kid glove" color than the whiskey of the picture that I almost returned them. Glad I didn't because they are fabulous and after a few days of wearing are several shades darker than when they arrived. Still not quite as dark at the picture. The arch support is okay, but I still felt the need to add an insole. I'm sensitive to arch support though, so keep that in mind.

These are nice boots. They are a little hard to pull on; you have to unbuckle the lower strap. The sole is rubber with no traction which is not so good in the snow and ice, but the leather is very nice and they are comfy so I kept them.

The boots were true to size and I really like the style. At first I had some difficulty getting them on over the heel but once on they were fine.

The first pair were very large. I ordered another pair and was shocked to see the color was very differnt from the first pair. The second pair fit and I was okay with the color, but not as much as the first pair. The interior of the first pair was fuzzy and cozy while the second pair did not have the same. But the outside style was the same. Very odd. But I needed the boots for an outfit so I kept them. They are wearing oddly on the bottom, though. The black on the sole is coming off quickly, like it was painted on. The boots are comfortable and I like that. I doubt I will buy this brand again, though.

Both of my daughters, 14 and 18, love these boots. They are comfortable and the leather is soft and durable. They look great with skinny jeans and the quality is much better than some of the popular brands.
