I read reviews and seemed people thought these ran big, so I ordered 1/2 size down or 39 vs. my usual 40 and the foot bed is too short. I should have ordered the 40. I was informed they came in stock but decided to wait and now they're out again. I have to return them since they do not fit, my toes hit the end of the boot. I will say, these are well made, the leather is super soft and supple, the inside of the leather is lined with a thin, light faux fur making them really soft inside (no socks required). The foot bed has a nice padding and the soles are non slip. I will say these are lightweight and will be easy to pack (for travelers) and actually make your foot look smaller. The look great with leggings, jeans, shorts, skirts and dresses. Love them, just returning until my size comes back in stock which I hope they do because I would love to have these.

Love these boots! Ordered my true size 9-9 1/2 (40) but they were very big. Had to return for a size down.These boots run pretty big size down so you don't have the hassle of returning. I have got so many compliments with these boots. Everyone asks where did you find them.

Great looking boot. Tall enough to tuck in jeans if you would like, and would look great with leggings as well. Nice leather, and the perfect medium brown color. Unfortunately, it seems to run large, and the pair I ordered are too large for me.

Buttery leather and a beautiful red-not too bright which I was happy about. Soooo comfortable; I work retail and they felt and looked great all day.

These boots are great! Super stylish, great lower height, easy to tuck your jeans into, but still slim enough to wear inside bootcuts. The only drawback, for me, is that I think they are a little too casual for me to wear to work. In the picture, the leather looks a little dressier than it is in real life. But I still love them! I'll just have to find other boots for work (wink, wink)!

I love these boots both for the comfort and style. They are easy to slip on and off and look great with jeans or casual dresses and skirts. I purchased them in brown and love the leather and color. I also love the heel height and toe shape which is not too rounded or too pointed. The only reason that I did not give them a five star rating is because I would have preferred a leather sole and stacked heel. Also, the price was a considerable amount to spend for a pair of boots for my budget. However, I searched long and hard for just the right pair of boots and these are very near perfect. I know that I will wear them often making them a worthwhile investment.

I really wanted to like these - just enough strap/buckle/slouch but not over the top. The look is great but it has a fleece-like lining that adds bulk and makes it hard to tuck in jeans...they feel like winter boots and I wasn't looking for that. Size comments were correct - I always wear a 7 and this fits fine in a 6.5.

Great looking boots!! Look terrific with jeans and with short dresses. Leather is soft and supple. Fit is true to size.

Great boots. Very comfortable. They can be "sock eaters" if you don't wear the right socks with them, though, because of the fuzzy liner inside them. You can wear these with skinny jeans or pants tucked in them or boot cut jeans on the outside and they look good either way.

I love the stylish look of this boot. I ordered them in brown and liked them so much, I ordered the black as well. However, I think they run really big. I normally wear size 5-5.5 and the 35 is really too big. Since they don't come any smaller, I put a padded insole in and they fit pretty well. The description states that this boot is padded, but definitely not... No arch support, either. I do LOVE the service at Zappos!

Beautiful shoe. I normally wear an 8.5 but the 8.5-9 felt a bit small. These are slip on, and the heel is a bit narrow so they were a bit of a challenge to get on/off. These look great with skinny jeans or yoga pants. Wouldn't recommend these if you intend to wear these with your jeans over them, since the shoe is really plain and actually manage to make my feel look bigger. Since I'm not one to fork over $200 for a shoe that I'll only wear occasionally, I'm returning these.

These are my new favorite boots, and this is really saying something as every fall I go through the annual frustration of thinking I've found true love only to realize it will never work. But this boot? Soul mate. My one and only issue is it takes some work to put it on, as there's no zipper and you have to wiggle your way in. The good news is once it's on you don't want to take it off. I just hope this doesn't cause the leather to stretch out too much when my heel is pushing it's way through as I tug it on. Seriously, though, great boot, super comfortable, I can work all day in them. And they are seriously hot aren't they? They look so adorable on. Especially with colorful knee high socks and a fun little dress.

Ok.....soo.....I have problem feet since back surgery 6 yrs ago. Can only wear ONE new balance shoe and ONE crock sandal in 6 yrs. I try on shoes and boots almost everyday. Seriously! I've returned so many pair, I'm surprised Zappo's has not cut me off. Not to mention everywhere trying every other shoe store in the Sri state area. So, these Eric Micheal boots.....I was not expecting them to be any different because of my history, HOWEVER......not only are they super stylish, they FIT, they are comfortable and I am AMAZED! They have a deep enough toe box for my big toe (which is a major problem, causing back pain, if it rubs my toes or the top of my foot). I am soooooooooooo happy! Not only boots, but this is the first pair of NON athletic shoes I've worn in 6 years! I ordered these in black and brown. LOVE LOVE LOVE! They should advertise these as orthopedic boots. I will admit that I searched "Comfort" in the boot section at Zappo's and this was listed in the search. So grateful!

Had these in taupe and adore them, so got them in black too. Super comfortable, soft and warm. Great with leggings. Black ones look a little "tougher" than the taupe ones. Only down-sides: soles are smooth, so no grip on wet or icy sidewalks, definitely not waterproof or even resistant (raindrops leave dark spots on taupe version, though they disappear when dry), and top is a little wide for me to wear with just tights -- though I have skinny legs, so maybe not the case for everyone.

Great boots. I ordered not realizing I have these boots in red. They are very comfortable. I wear a 5 1/2 or 6 and 36 fits perfectly. I have a high arch and usually can't fit my foot in a boot w/o a zipper. Soft leather makes it possible. I can't wear a heavier sock because I'm unable to get my foot into the boot. However, no need a very warm and comfy shoe! Love them. FYI, Zappos was priced less. I bought my red boots locally. No regrets.

Love this boot -- works perfectly with a skirt and tights, or with skinny jeans. It does run big: I usually wear a 6 or 6.5 in boots, and the 36 (5.5 - 6) fit me perfectly.

Very cute, comfortable and stylish. They run true to size. I bought a 9 knowing I wear a 9.5 but have been experiencing flopping in the heel area and a good half size of empty space. Not a good idea. Buy your size in this style. However, for the price, I would have appreciated a wooden heel and leather sole. The boots are cute though. I did not send them back. I gave them to my Neice. She looks awesome.

My shoes arrived today and I love them! They are a bit narrow, but my feet are wider than average. I can tell once I "break them in", they will be my favorites. This is definitely a "wear all the time" boot.

Love the style and color of these boots, exactly what I was looking for! Just wish the lining inside was a little thicker cause the boots rub my ankle bone on the left side just a bit. I do enjoy wearing them with thicker socks. Great service though, received them in just a few days!

I ordered the Laguna in tan in my standard size 40; I received it in brown. I've got long, narrow feet and I usually experience a lot of width and heel slippage problems. Not with this boot! It fit like a dream, comfortable right out of the box, which is perfect as I don't do "break in." The brown boot has a distressed, slightly stiffer leather and does not have fleece lining and the footbed is comfortable but not as well cushioned as the two other colors I ordered. I re-ordered the tan plus the black. The tan looked exactly as pictured: very soft, glossy leather with a buckle shaped like a letter "C." Both the tan and black boots are fully lined with a heavenly black, fleecy lining and the footbeds were wonderfully cushioned. Even though I have skinny ankles and legs, I had to unbuckle both black and tan to get into them. The black boot was not as pictured; the boots I received had the "C" buckle, which kind of looks broken somehow. The black had very shiny hardware and the leather itself is so glossy you really noticed the roundness of the toe; it almost looked like a clog. The black made my feet look huge. I'm pleased with the brown but had really hoped to find one other color that was lined but looked a little tougher. I'd definitely recommend the Laguna style if you're looking for a very comfortable, very flexible, flat-heeled short boot.

These boots are wonderful! They fit great, the leather is super soft and comfortable and they look amazing. I love them and highly recommend them. They are worth the price.

These boots are really cute and appear well made. The sizes cover broader ranges than typical American sizes. I bought them in a size that said it fit 7.5 to 8 and I'm a solid 8. The shoes were a bit on the snug side, especially since I like to wear socks with my boots but I'm confident they'll stretch.

I absolutely love this boot. It is extremely comfortable and looks great! I spent a week in Paris this past October. Everyone was wearing this style of boot. Upon my return I looked everywhere for a pair and this was the winner! I recommend them highly.
