These shoes felt a little clunky (I kind of felt like I was clomping around in them) and were much heavier than I expected. The insoles were bumpy and would need inserts.

I would have kept this shoe except the left shoe fit fine but the right shoe was too loose. Very nice shoe.

Sadly I had to return these. While comfortable, I didn’t feel they were quite comfortable enough to do the serious walking I like to do when I travel. They were true to size and I went with the B width. They felt a tad narrow but I think if I had gone to the next width those would’ve been too wide. If they had been a little less expensive I might have decided to keep them but they were at the top of my shoe budget so I thought it best to return them and keep looking.

I have been wearing this shoe for probably about 10 years and they finally wore out so I ordered another pair and they are perfect. Great for travel because they’re lightweight and they’re a good walking shoes.

Beautifully crafted shoes!! Aren't all Munro shoes beautiful!! I've worn them for years and this is the first time they've felt too narrow for me.

I really like these shoes. They were, however, huge on me. I might try another size, but I wish Munro made this shoe with a thicker sole and more cushioning so that it can be a true travel shoe delivering style AND comfort for all day walking. They used to make just that shoe...

Looks charming on, but does not accommodate a high instep. Too tight a fit over the instep.. A struggle to get the shoe on. Can't really blame the shoe for my foot, though! Could use more padding for the insole.

I loved the shoe and would have loved to keep them and wear them out! However the outside of the shoe was cut just 1/4 inch or so too high and cut into the underside of my ankle bone. Just wearing them in the house to see how they felt caused a red line of rubbing and would have become unbearable in long term walking. I really wish they had worked.

Simply too narrow for my wide foot. Great shoe, well made, attractive. Maybe will try again in widest width.

Too tight

I usually wear a 9.5 medium so I bought both that and 10N in these shoes to see which fit better -- I had a memory that Munro shoes run short. Well, I couldn't get either pair on either foot (one longer than the other)!! So I'll reorder larger/wider and try one more time. Too bad. Attractive and look like they'd be comfortable, but I have no idea since I literally couldn't get either foot into either size!

Great looking shoe, I bought it in navy to wear with jeans. I really wanted to keep this shoe but one heel slips (my problem, not the shoe!). So sad to have to return as it was exactly what I wanted.

I have 2 pairs of Munro Sandals in size 10N that fit just right, so I ordered 10N in this style, but they were too big. I am exchanging them for a 9.5N.

The heel was too wide and kept slipping.

I wore out my first pair of Munro Traveler's but for some reason although I ordered the same size (8M) this pair seemed narrower. Had to return.

I purchased a 10.5 SS. The shoe fits well except the top or instep is very tight, almost digging in to the top of my foot (which is VERY low volume and bony). I am trying to decide whether to keep them based on that, and the fact that the style seems to make my long narrow foot look even longer and more narrow. It is, however, a very nice shoe, with the normal Munro quality.

This shoe fit me perfectly. I have a very difficult time finding shoes without ties that don't fall off my heels. I wear a size 12 slim (3A). The arch is reasonably supportive and I wore them all day (I am a teacher) without any pain, right out of the box. The shoes are very plain in style, but maybe that is a good thing since I have such long feet.

munro is one of the pricier shoe brands for women with large feet. it's not as bad as ferragamo, but more expensive than clark's. at the same time, munros are well made & tend to fit, i.e., after guesstimating your length & width, the shoe isn't too large or small, or too wide or narrow. the traveler appears stodgy, but that's a good thing because they’re easy to coordinate with pants or jeans (& a wild pair of socks!), & equally good with a skirt & tights. did i mention the traveler's comfort level? i've walked miles of city blocks in them, at the end of which my feet remain pain free. i suppose the inner shoe cushioning & the crepe soles affect matters. speaking of which, i’m not sure how resoling will adhere to the traveler, but expect a competent cobbler should be able to handle it.

First bought a 6.5 W but couldn't get my feet in them. Bought WW and they were much better but still snug, hoping they will stretch.

I have wide feet, a bunion, and a hammertoe. I wear an 8 to 9 Wide depending on the shoe, and I usually have to try at least 2 sizes and send one back, or more often send both back, in despair. I can't stand for my feet to be squeezed at all. I tried the 8.5 W in these Munro Travelers, and while the length was basically fine (maybe a tad long), they squeezed. I ordered an 8 WW to compare, and they feel much better. This is way more than I ever pay for shoes, but I am wearing the 8 WW in comfort as I write this, so I think I should keep them. Other reviewers have said that they wore them while traveling, which is why I need them. I will update my review after my trip. If it were not for the great return policy at Zappos, I would have to go barefoot, since stores rarely carry Wide sizes in styles I like. Seriously -- hooray for Zappos.

Call me the odd foot gal! This Munro Traveler fits my needs, they have a little stretch so my wide feet fit into one of the several width options available. I need lots of support and complete covering on my heel to keep my shoe comfortable. It took one return but we got the right size. I wish they came in other colors. I would order several pairs!

This is the best fitting shoe I’ve ever worn. Please note this is my second pair having worn the first pair out over the past 5 years. Wearing a AAAA width I usually have to do a lot of accommodations to try to get a better fit. Munro shoes are by far the only ones that don’t usually require fixing on my part. I just wished Munro would design shoes that are a bit more stylish.
