These are fabulous sandals. I wore them on a trip to the UK and walked a lot. They have great shock absorption but look chunky and cool, not orthopedic! The buckles on the upper straps rubbed a bit at times but I just slapped a bandaid on as protection and that worked fine.

I just got my first pair of Wolky shoes. They are awesomely comfortable and easily adjustable. I am planning for my next pair and I actually want a collection of them! They are expensive but worth it. Really good quality in the construction. Great shoes.

These are among my favorite summer shoes! I have these shoes in pewter and in bone and wear them all summer! They add a bit of height to me, which is good! They are completely adjustable to my feet and very comfortable. These shoes also wear very well! I have had my bone pair for three or four years and they still look like new. I said that they feel wider because they fit my somewhat wide feet and my high insteps and arches. They are very comfortable!

These were super comfortable and supportive, with metatarsal support also. From the picture the black and white design looked matte which I wanted. I was surprised when they came because they were shiny. I was disappointed for sure, plus they part over the toes was stiff and rubbed my big toe. Besides that they were hella comfortable and I really wanted to keep them but the hurting toe, and add the shiny left me with a no go on this pair.

Ordered these sandals in my usual size 39, they seemed small by maybe a half size. They appear to be well-made with good arch support and would probably be good for walking. I have to return them due to the size, but also because they’re not as soft as I assumed they would be. I have a knee problem and have a real hard time finding shoes. I would recommend them though as walking sandals. Can tell they’d be good for it.

The Velcro strap that goes across near the ankle, is much shorter. Not happy about that. Been wearing these shoes for years.

I wish these sandals had worked for me. They are super comfortable but quite wide, even with the adjustments. They do look a bit like orthopedic shoes but I guess you sacrifice some of the style for comfort. I usually wear a size 6M and these were definitely wider than M

I bought these shoes to wear with my custom orthotics (I remove the Wolky insole). I consider them the best shoes for my feet when I am wearing the custom orthotics in them-even better than any lace-up shoe. Maybe it is the thick somewhat flat sole that makes them work so well? The shoe store where I bought the orthotics makes adjustments so that the orthotic better fits in the shoe. I do not wear them to walk long distances etc. I don't think they would work well for that as they are a bit stiff. I wear them mostly as house shoes or to run errands. Without the orthotics, they would not be a good shoe for me as the Wolky insole does not have much arch support and I have high arches. Also, I don't think these shoes are good looking. Especially in the colors where the thick black sole makes a stark contrast to a lighter or more brightly colored upper. But I have to say I have gotten complements on these shoes. Maybe that's because they look comfortable.

Very comfortable shoe. The only problem I see with the shoe is every time I wear them the bottom of my feet get black! I hope in time the color on the shoe sole will fade.

These were beautiful shoes. I measure at a 6-1/2 with one foot a B width and the other a C width, and I purchased the 37, and size-wise they felt perfect. The support felt beautiful, too. However I have very particular knee alignment issues. Danskos, and Blundstone boots from 2012 and earlier + Soles insoles, have solved this problem beautifully in the past. But the current versions of Blundstones and Danskos appear to be substantially different from the products I have known and loved, so I have had to start all over again to try to find shoes that work for me. In addition, I need a sandal with a broad base of support so I do not have too live in fear of turning an ankle. However most of the current Danskos sandals are not suitable for me, and the one style that might be got reviews about the straps being too loose and the material of the last being not up to snuff. So I have had to search for new brands in shoes to replace my old standbys. I was very much hoping Wolky would be my new brand, because they make such a great range of styles. However when I stood in them for awhile, it became clear my knees were just not going to be happy. I even removed the removable footbed (Great feature, BTW!) and put in my favorite insoles (made by Soles) which work beautifully with Blundstone boots, but found that with these Wolkys this made the arch so high it gouged my arch. In addition, I like a really chunky, rugged sandal, and in real-life these were not as chunky as I'd thought they would be. So sadly, they are going back, and my search continues. Next I will try Doc Martens. But if you do NOT have a slight tendency toward bowleggedness (or compression of medial side of the knee joint + arthritis), and if you prefer a slightly chunky sandal, as opposed to an extremely rugged and chunky sandal, these might just do the trick for you. They really seem like a sturdy and beautifully made shoe, to boot. Just the wrong angle for my knees.

I bought this shoe a few years ago--it was much too big so I was glad to see I could get it in a size 5. Lovely shoe, but too clunky in appearance in a 5, and not that comfortable.

I bought these yesterday as a post, post surgery shoe. They are comfortable for the most part. The middle strap is rubbing me a little raw but I loosened them, put on a bandage and they are fine. I normally would never buy a sandal that is this chunky but they are perfect if you are recovering from bunion/hammertoe surgery. I just hope no one looks at my feet. They are cuter than a surgery shoe.

My first time ordering Wolky. They are pricey, but well worth it. I have arthritis in both knees and struggle to find shoes that provide cushioning for absorption, but look attractive at the same time. These shoes are unusual in design, but go nicely with slacks, skirts, capris and pant suits. I ordered the orange and they blend well with a variety of other colors. I am able to walk good distances without putting undue stress on my knees. I have received compliments on them and am pleased to recommend Zappos to anyone. I should order at least one more color while they are in stock.

Very comfortable nice looking dressy sandal. Only problem is that the strap over the inset is too long. I had to pay $20 to shorten it, which I felt was well worth it. this is the only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5. They are very comfortable, and now that the strap is the right length, I love them and bought a second pair.

I thought by going up 1 size - I could gain a little more room. NOW my Right pinky tow & Left Bunionette are happy. EXCEPT the shoes are too big almost everywhere else. I can't tighten the heel strap enough. Really disappointed that Wolky's don't work for me!

I Love WOLKY products however the longer the shoe was on the more it bothered me. The front edge hits the and is irritating. Otherwise, the fit is full and comfortable.

So disappointed, they cut across my big toe so that in wearing, not even walking, just wearing, I had a red and painful mark in my toe. The stitching on the top edge of the toe doesn't look as if it will soften, so back they went. I tried several pairs and most were the same.

Too much arch support - wish the footbed just molded to your natural arch rather than having one already - disappointed.

It feels heavy and the sole is too stiff

For this price and the good reviews, I expected to love them, but they're so ugly on my feet. They look huge and flat, despite the heel. It's as if there's a perimeter of extra material all around my feet when I look down. I've never seen anything like it. I like big shoes, and I like black shoes of this style, but these are just very odd-looking. I asked my teenager what she thought, and she said they are "really bad" too. At least Zappos has a great return policy! They're also less comfortable than some far less expensive sandles I ordered at the same time.

Surprisingly, these Wolky Jewel's felt heavy rather than light. I have had other Wolky's that looked similar but fit very differently. They were also too narrow both in width and in toe room for me and I don't have a wide foot.

I received the shoes with no insoles, so I do not know how they fit. I contacted customer service and because part of my order ($30) was paid for with a gift card, they would not exchange the shoes for me. I would have to return the shoes and then buy another pair. I wanted these to take on a trip, so I don’t have time for that. How disappointing…this is not the first time I have had issues with Zappos and insoles. I received a pair of shoes with the wrong size insoles.
