An absolutely great shoe. I have wide feet and some arthritis. I bought it for long days walking in Italy, and it did not disappoint. Absolutely adjustable, fine for wide feet. When my feet are tired, I put these on for a rest. Much cuter than they should be, considering the comfort. I'm ordering another color now. Very highly recommended.

I had a different foot problem in each foot. These were recommended for me. I put them on and immediately wore them to Disney World. Not a single blister! Pure comfort. This year, more Wolky sandals for me.

I just spent the past two weeks touring Italy, wearing only my Wolky Ruby! They were fabulous, very comfortable on the cobblestone street. I even wore them hiking the trail in Cinque Terre. They were the best investment I made for the trip I highly recommend them for comfort, support and durability.

These are still the very best! My second pair is just as great as the first ones I bought them a few years ago. I buy wide and even extra wide in every other pair of shoes. These are fully adjustable, and the footbed is wide enough for me. The thick bottom protects you from uneven surfaces, stones, cobblestones, etc. I just love these stable, comfortable, reliable. sandals. They are very expensive, but your feet and back will thank you.

These sandals are well made, nice looking and very comfortable. I wear them every day and they cradle my feet and fit perfectly thanks to the adjustable straps. These sandals are a winner. They are my second pair of Wolkys.

These shoes are wonderful. As soon as I put them on, loved them. There are times I forget that I have them on, they are so comfortable. Plan on wearing them on a European river cruise this September and know that my feet will be happy no matter where I'll be walking. Wear an 8 1/2 and ordered size 40. Perfect in every way.

This is a wonderful shoe. The cork footbed is just about the most comfortable I have ever walked on. Most importantly, it stays cool, and so do your feet. Here in Texas, a shoe can feel pretty much like an oven for your foot. This won't happen in these sandals. Unfortunately, the placement of the sandal straps caused me some problems and I am having to send them back. Watch out for the underside of the straps where they adjust. I don't know why, but when I walked around the house in them, the edges on the undersides of the straps dug into my feet no matter how I adjusted them. If I wore these outside, I was afraid I would get blisters. So walk around in them and if this doesn't happen to you, you'll love them.

My foot measures 12 A on the Brannock foot scale (found in shoe stores). Often, because there are no standards for shoes, I wear 12.5. I ordered these in a 44 (12.5 -13). They are 1 full size too short. The width is true. They seem very comfortable and sturdy. The arch support is very good. There might be some initial chafing of the straps until they're worn in a bit. If there was a longer size, I would've kept them.

I purchased these with the intent of replacing the sole with my orthotics, but the depth is greater than my orthotics so my toes ended up hitting the inside edge of the shoe in the front. If you don't need orthotics, they seem to have the potential to be super supportive. The aren't "cute", but at least you'll look a bit more feminine than your guy walking around in tennis shoes or man sandals.

I bought these two summers ago. They were comfortable especially with my own orthotics. I live in Minnesota where sandal season is a few short months out of the year. I dug them out to wear this summer now that the weather is periodically warm enough for sandals, and unfortunately, they completely disintegrated after a couple of days of wear. Given how expensive they are, I am appalled that they have fallen apart already. For this price I would have expected them to last a whole lot longer.

I bought the 38, my usual size and the 39 because the recommendations say to order up. I couldn't even get the 38 on it was so small and narrow and the 39 still felt small, really narrow on my thin wide feet. the straps were scratchy and stiff. cute not comfy.

Bought these shoes specifically for a trip to Turkey. We were touring every day and doing a lot of walking and climbing of stairs, etc. etc. These shoes were comfortable throughout the day and into the evening. The velcro closurers allowed for adjusting if my feet started to swell a little later in the day. To me, a half size smaller might have worked better, but my daughter, who lives the French medieval village of LaCoste, France decided they were a perfect fit for her ! So, at the end of our trip, I gave them to her. Her streets are steep hills of cobblestone so she was thrilled. Sadly, I tried to get another pair, but they no longer have my size in stock. :( Would highly recommend!

Wolky Jewel, the best shoe I have ever had. I have almost every color. I sometimes put them in my front window as an art installation. Please, please, take this sole (soul!) and make a closed shoe or better still, slightly open-toed and give me something for the winter. The person who designed the sole is a genius. The support is special...what is the story of the design, the material? Who did this? Let's make him/her a hero. And a teeny bit more arch support would be an A++

Took a week or two of wear to break Ruby in because the leather a bit stiff. But now super comfortable, good support. Usually wear 9.5-10, which is generally a 42 Wolky. Also bought Liana which has very soft, fine, almost glove leather - no time to break in, and super comfortable, but I'm wondering if the Ruby will be hardier in the long run.

Difficult sizing. I wear a 9 to 9-1/2 and first order the 42 because of comments to order one size up. It was too big and hefty. Very comfortable though. Ordered a 41 and it's a hair too short. I want Wolky sandals because of comfort but wish they could figure out the sizing.

I have been trying a lot of sandals to finally get to the right ones. (You ROCK, Zappos!) These are much cuter than the photo and are not clunky looking in person. They fit my wide foot, but the foot-bed has a funny, little upswing on the edges which made my fourth toe ride up on that hump/ridge. I have nerve problems in my left foot and that hump caused my left foot to begin to fall asleep. But my right foot was great. I held on to them through a couple more shoe tries because they were so close. (Naots are my go-to walking shoe, but I order them in a size 40 to get the width I need. Because they are close-toed, it doesn't show that I'm up a size or two.) I tried the Wolky Pichu because I could see that the footbed was not set inside an outer sole; those were too narrow for my toes and the straps were not as comfortable. I ordered the Naot Harp in a size 40 thinking that maybe they would work like my closed-toe Naots, but they were too narrow. And then I had a brilliant idea to try the Naot insole inside the Wolky foot-bed. Score! I'm ordering the Naot Allegro size 40 insoles to wear in the size 39 Wolky Ruby. Finally I have summer sandals that I can actually walk in!

The sandals I ordered from Zappos came looking exactly as I expected, fitting like my black version. I put them on the next day and wore them, no problem. I really needed them as I had foot/ankle reconstruction surgery and was very limited in shoes that fit.

It is hard for me to express how excited I am about these sandals. I had a broken bone in my foot a few years ago, and now I must wear custom orthotics, or I suffer pain for days after any footwear transgression. My foot pain is least when I wear sneakers (ugh) because they are supportive, yet soft in the footbed. I'm not a sporty, sneaker-wearing person at all. In winter, I wear one of several pairs of boots that will accommodate my orthotic, but summer has been kind of miserable...until now. I found this brand at a local store, so I had a chance to try them on and insert my orthotic before purchase. Orthotic-wearers please note, you want the Wolky shoes that have a black insole that kind of sits "down" into the wider, deeper-looking sole. These are the styles with a removable insert. Many sandal and dress shoe styles by Wolky have a more typical one-piece-molded bottom. Because the insert is removable, your (probably ugly, like mine!) orthotic can sit down a bit and not be too noticeable in these sandals. I tried both the Jewel and the Ruby, and I found Ruby to be prettier, mostly due to same-color-leather strap over the top of the foot. Jewel was also less comfortable, but I tried on an embossed leather version, and they were much stiffer than the plain leather version of Ruby that I ended up with. While in the store, I also bought a pair of dress shoes (skimmers) that would accommodate my orthotic on top of the standards insoles, and also a pair of ankle boots. I haven't come home happy from a shoe-buying trip in years. Usually I am frustrated, mildly depressed, and maybe even in pain. It is hard for me to express how happy I was to find this brand, and the Ruby style in particular.

These shoes are fabulous, period. Walked all over the place, on cobblestones, on day trips while on a river cruise from Amsterdam to Budapest and then on to Prague. Usually forgot I had them on. No tired feet, no blisters, no complaints. Loved these sandals.

The Wolky Ruby sandles are really comfortable. If my feet swell in the afternoon, I can loosen the velcro straps.

I love this wolky sandal! I am diabetic and have a serious toe problem on one foot and I have different sized feet. The first time I wore the Wolkys it was the first time in years that I did not complain about my feet. The support, fit and style are wonderful. I bought 5 pair because I love the colors and they are pretty much the only shoes I wear for every thing.

I wanted to love these shoes! They look really sexy, especially the red. I didn't get the feeling of supreme comfort and support in what looks like a supportive sandal. The heel is great, they felt comfy but just didn't quite make the grade. Thank heaven for Zappos. I'm returning them.

These sandals felt to wide at the instep and are quite short. My other Wolky shoes are 40's and 39's, but I would need a 41 in this sandal for length, which would be huge in width. My feet are narrow in the instep, wide with bunions in front, and high arches. The sole also felt too squishy and unstable. I'm returning them.

I wanted to love these shoes because years ago I had a pair of Wolky maryjanes that I wore until they wore out, which was years and years and year! But these shoes just are not comfortable. The footbed is soft on my foot, but it is hard when I'm walking. It doesn't give. My old Wolkys did give when I walked, really cushioned. These are not cushioning. I am sad.
