So cute and comfortable, too! Great arch support. Loved the sparkles on the flowers. They appear to be very well made. Looking forward to them keeping my feet cozy this winter.

I love these slippers! They were a little on the large size, but don't slip off my feet. They aren't too bulky, but are super warm and super cute.

I absolutely love them. These are wide and run a tad large so order with this taken into consideration. They are warm, super soft, great arch support. If not sure on the size order down. They run big and wide.

These really are great slippers! Very comfortable and cute. I ended up trading them in for the "Spital" style as I decided I wanted something more secure that would stay on my foot.

These were super cute but they ran a bit wide. I debated keeping them but figured they would stretch a bit over time. The rubbery outsole seemed like it would be good for quick trips outside and yet it was flexible for indoor comfort. The insole was nice and cushy with decent arch support (mine are extremely high), I like how the latex seemed durable. Also the rim of the slipper was loose on me. Although my arches are high, my instep is not and I found myself wishing I could since it somehow (like the Vent or Voerde model). I opted not to try other styles as this brand seems to run a bit wide for my foot. Wish it worked, would have been a great house slipper that I could run outside in.

If you want to know the truth, these slippers are adorable and comfortable, but the stitching around the edge (orange stitching) wears out from putting them on and off. It's all falling apart and when I washed them as directed, the flowers started unraveling around the edge, so I had to carefully cut them back into a shape. These do not wear well at all and I only had them for 3 weeks or so when they started coming unstitched. Cute and comfortable but for the price I would expect them to last without falling apart. They should be redesigned so that the stitching does not start back where your heel wears it out.

Either I ordered the wrong slippers or shipping made an error. I wanted the Spital, I love them. I ordered them previously, but they were too big. They are beautifully crafted, extremely comfortable (!!!), and very stylish. They are a beautiful slipper.

I bought 2 pair of these slippers and I love the looks of them and the comfortable feel...BUT the stitching around the opening is disintegrating at the heel area and falling out. I suspect for the wear of the foot going in and out of the slippers. I will not buy these again for this reason. I haven't had them for more that 6 weeks. I bought 2 pair, one for our vacation home. Marked 4 stars because of the stitching problem.

Love that they have a little ortho support, not much but every little bit helps. Looks like old world European slippers, like them a lot.

I bought a pair of these on sale about 3 years ago, and I wear them year-round except for the hottest months. They're comfortable and have good arch support (and the removable insole allows you to add more support if you need it). The wool material breathes, but they're warm enough for cold nights. The sole is sturdy enough to go outside. And they're CUTE! I normally take a size 38 or 38.5, but I got a 37 in these, and it's just right ... so ordering a size down is not a bad idea.

I absolutely love these slippers! The boiled wool is nice. My feet do not perspire. They provide nice arch support. They have fun felt flowers. They make me happy to own and wear.

Ahhh! finally slippers that work, and are absolutely darling. Zappos has been very patient with my search. The Ugg brand felt like cardboard soles. These slippers have enough sole and traction for quick trips outside, but are soft enough to really relax in. The bottoms are already molding to my feet after a couple of wears. The 42 fit my 10.5 foot perfectly, with or without socks. I love the cozy boiled wool.

This is my second pair of these slippers. I wear them constantly (much too my family's despair) and cannot recommend them enough. I do tend to get a hole around my big toe but I think that is pretty normal wear considering how much they are used. I will definitely buy another pair!

These run large - I got a 37, and I normally wear a 38 or 39. Otherwise, they are excellent slippers: comfortable, supportive (plus the insole is removable, so you can add extra arch support if you need it), and warm. The soles are sturdy and have good traction, even on wet or icy surfaces. My only complaint is that the orange stitching around the edge started to wear off after a couple of months. Otherwise they are long-wearing: I work at home and usually wear slippers around the house. These are on their second winter and still have a lot of mileage left in them. I am very pleased.

I love these slippers! Besides being incredibly cute they are amazingly comfortable. I think I have worn them every morning and evening since I bought them. I purchased a pair of Haflingers last year and really liked them until I got a hole in the toe. I am paying a little more this time in the hopes these will last longer, so far so good. I highly recommend to keep your tootsies warm!

I am not used to spending so much on shoes, particularly slippers, but I needed something I could wear on wood floors. I ordered them based on the comments that they "ran large." I have a fat foot with a high arch and these are fantastic, easily accommodating my foot and providing good support.

My orange braiding is rubbing off on one shoe from the inside. It is like it is shedding. I love the shoes but may take them back only because the trim is coming off and I have had them just a few weeks. They are very nice and comfortable, but if you had a narrow foot it might be too big for you.

I am very happy with the purchase. Even on sale they are pricey for a slipper but so incredibly worth it. I read several reviews from different sites before committing to the purchase and the one thing that concerned me the most was the slippers stretching out and getting loose. I took a chance ordered them and they did stretch out and are a little looser than what I would normally go for but it does not change the comfort of the sole at all or the stability of the shoe. I purchased my first pair about 3 weeks ago (and am wearing them right now). I am getting ready to purchase two more pairs - one for my mom and another pair for me. I am very happy with this purchase. I bought my regular euro size (41) and they fit me true to size just the width is a little loose but nothing to worry about. I admit that the little shiny's on the slippers helped in my falling in love with these slippers as well. Would absolutely recommend to a friend.

I gave these as a gift to my mom for Christmas. I followed the advice of other reviewers and ordered a full size smaller. She loves them, and says they are very comfortable and just the right size! I love their look. The wool flowers are such vibrant colors, and I love the rhinestones at the center of some of the flowers. And of course I love shopping at Zappos!

These slippers are incredibly cute and extremely comfortable, the arch support feels just right and they will be perfect for brightening up a cold winter day or night. This is my first pair of Giesswein slippers but I have a feeling I'll be buying more. Quality, style and comfort are well worth the cost. Thanks to the helpful reviews left by others I ordered a 37 (US 6) when I am generally a size 7.5. They fit just right with a pair of socks or without, a 7 would have been too big once they stretched out. I have an average foot and the width felt just right.

I love these slippers. My toes can wiggle, great arches, very impressed with this brand. Bought another pair of Giesswein with closed back about 2 weeks after first pair. Would like to wear them outside but don't know if they will hold up. I would like to get outside pair but review said they ran small. My feet do not like tight shoes.

Who pays this much for a pair of slippers?! Now, I do! Holy cow! These are the best slippers ever! I have spent twice as much on cheap slippers over the past couple of years. Now, I have beautiful, quality slippers that will last for years. These slippers are adorable and extremely comfortable. They are soft and conform to your foot and the arch support is as good as my Birkenstocks. Love these! I take an 8.5 and ordered the 39, fit was perfect!

I've had multiple foot/toe surgeries in past few years. Needed slipper that were comfortable and I can walk outside if necessary. Got 2 pair, one for each home...love them already and they are not too warm and love the design...So glad I found them. I have a wide foot and stretch to accommodate.

Love boiled wool and only buy this sort of slipper but note: These stretch out tremendously so if you don't order 1-2 sizes down (I had to order a 5 and I'm a normal 7) you'll not get the full wear out of them. Trust me: It's worth it for them to feel a tad tight the first few days.

The main benefit is easy slip on and off. The orange sewn trim is worn through in less than 2 weeks. The width is a little wide so I can easily roll over and be on side of house shoe. They stay on without socks which is a plus. Expensive but not convinced worth it.
