I just received these boots, and straight out of the box, as comfortable as can be! Someone reviewed the soles were hard and bottom appeared cheaply made. I have to strongly disagree. I bent the soles and they are very flexible, and the bottom is fashioned well and neatly, in conformity to the rest of the shoe, and no gaps whatsoever. The zippers allow for easy insertion of my feet. I also received these within three days, so kudos Zappos!

I love these boots even though they don't fit quite as well as I would have liked. I have a narrow heel and have a hard time fitting shoes. These boots look great so I will be wearing thick socks with them.

I thought my search for simple, elegant and cool looking blue suede boots was over when I scored these boots. But the vote is still out.... They are well made and do fit true to size AND, the foot bed is narrow as some other reviewers have mentioned. It is unrealistic to expect that a pair of solidly built boots is going to feel great on the first try when I have been wearing open toed shoes for 4 months! So, I am going to wear them around the house a few more times before making up my mind. They really look awesome but if they pinch, what's the point? Ya gotta walk!

Size runs big! I had to order a full size down in these shoes. I did end up loving them once I got the right size and it didn't look like I had clown feet. I am normally a 6-6 1/2 but I had to get these in a 5! The putty color is great and matches a lot. They are well made and a good shoe for the price. Definitely consider ordering a size down though. Zappos was great through the exchange process and shipped the smaller size the same day I requested the exchange, before I even shipped the others back, so that was nice.

These are moderately comfortable straight out of the box, but they'll widen a bit as you wear them. I have a narrow foot and found these quite snug around the outer part of the foot when I first put them on, but now I wish I had gone down another half size because they've loosened up (I ordered a 7.5). If your foot is narrow like mine you could go down a 1/2 size. These are great with coloured tights (I own them in black and putty colours) as well as skinny jeans. These are gorgeous and the suede is high quality - not a day goes by without someone asking me where I bought these shoes.

Comfortable and good looking. I did not give a 5 because I would have preferred them to be somewhat lighter in weight.

This is such an attractive ankle boot, but my feet run wide and it's too tight. Why isn't there a wide size - aargh!

Unfortunately, they run 1/2 size too small. I like the look, but they didn't fit as expected, and I am a size 9.5. A size 10 may fit the toe bed, but my narrow heel will cause my foot to slide. Returning these cute booties.

Normally I take a size 10 M. I ordered a 10 W as suggested by website. These boots are very narrow. Beautiful and great arch support, but soooooo narrow.

Shoe was cute, but there is no padding on the sole and zero arch support. They were also a challenge to get on, even with a zipper. I could already tell that the heel support would breakdown quickly from trying to jam my foot into them, so back they went! Once they are on, they felt tts.

Even when you want basic, unadorned booties, these were too basic. They looked as if they'd been on my shelf for three years, not used too much and not loved. Just okay. Okay is okay if you like total bland. Also, I found them too narrow for my usual M width.

Very cute booties, far too tight in my toes! They started getting numb. Unusual for my foot. Too bad because they look perfect.

These booties are cute but not comfortable. They’re heavy and feel clunky, and the way the shaft is structured rubbed against the back and side of my ankle. Maybe that will get better with time, but I can’t say- they’re getting returned.

I have purchased three pairs of these boots over the years and love the style. If you have to walk very far they get uncomfortable as the soles are pretty thin. My latest pair has started peeling around the heel. Older pairs had actual stacked heels, this latest pair must have a plastic heel wrapped to look like a stacked heel. So disappointing that they are being made more cheaply. They were my go to. Not any more.

I really wanted these to be comfortable, but they're not. I like the color and style, but these are very stiff and inflexible and strangely pronate in at the ankle. Unfortunately, I had to return them.

I loved the look of these booties in the photo, but when I received them, realized they are actual cow hair! I didn't realize that "brahma" means the hide of the cow (or a Hindu god), so be aware that you will be getting a more "animal-like" product than with leather or suede.

These boots just didn't do it for me. I ordered 1/2 size up and they were still way too narrow for my foot. I have very average feet so being narrow is not usually a problem. I'm having to return them.

Great color but for the price I expected them to be a lot more comfortable. They rub blisters on the toes and run a bit narrow.

Unfortunately, my foot was swimming in this boot. I typically wear a size 11, rarely down to 10 depending upon the brand. It's a very attractive boot, but not substantial enough for me. I prefer heavier, tighter footwear and this was light with virtually no padding. Could not even foresee being comfortable at a desk with these on. May be a great buy for those who do not mind flimsy footwear, but not for me.

This shoe was comfortable in my house but just didn't like the way they looked on. They Made my feet look long from the side and I just didnt feel feminine. Also there is this awful, odd smell to them and the scent has attached itself to my hands and I scrubbed three times already and its still there... scary. Im returning them right now.

These shoes are okay, but I'm returning them. I got the snakeskin print expecting to see some snakeskin texture along with the snakeskin color, but the boot is flat leather, which makes the shoe look much cheaper than it otherwise would be.

These boots are very stylish but not supportive or comfortable. I have a slightly narrow foot and the width was a little narrow for my comfort. If these are uncomfortable walking around my house, they won't be comfortable with much walking or standing.

In pictures and in several reviews that I had read, these boots seemed to be a winner. My size is 5.5 Wide, and they had not been available in 5.5 for awhile. When I saw that they were available in size 6 Wide--and the discounted price was good--I decided to give them a try. I'm really delighted that Zappos return policy is so easy, because these boots A) looked and felt very large--MUCH more so than a half size, B) the color was different from the picture (I was expecting more of a tan/light brown . . . instead it was Putty Grey), C) the zipper for the boots was very stiff--having to yank it a bit to get it up, and D) there was no comfort within the boot itself . . . it felt stiff. I'm glad I tried them, but I guess Sam Edelman is not my brand.
