My son is 5 and loves these shoes. I wanted velcro shoes for him to go to kindergarten in. It is difficult to find velcro shoes that look stylish and do not have a cartoon characters on them. They fit well and he can take them off and put them on by himself. I did order a half size bigger to have room to grow for the school year.

Great for dry, sunny days. It's durable and gives my kid's feet the support he needs while he's running and climbing around the playground. Don't recommend wearing these on rainy/muddy days because there's mesh and would certainly soak through.

My son claimed the tongue of the shoe was hurting him. Only wore them for 2 days but they had to go back. I think the Puma style maybe too narrow for his feet even though he has slender feet. I guess back to old faithful Nike brand.

They run about an entire size and a half small. If you compare them to Converse in sizes, order a size and a half up.

These shoes are great! Our 4 year old wears out shoes quickly & Pumas always last the longest & these are easy to wipe off also.

My 6 year old wanted easy, no tie shoes for the summer and chose these. My husband has worn Pumas for years and they always held up great but this pair is a mess. It's only been about a month and besides the top fabric portion being filthy from dirt and grime, there is stitching coming loose. He still loves them, and they are quick to put on, but they are not holding up well at all.

Look good, 3.5 year old loved colors. Run very narrow (as I understand most Pumas do) and straps don't seem long enough, making them harder for little hands to fasten well. Held up and cleaned up well, but trying a different brand next time.

My son is rough on shoes and these are holding up great! He refers to them as "his fast shoes!" We are very pleased.

My son had these for 1 week the the velco had pulled away from the fabric. I am VERY disappointed! We have always bought Pumas and have been very happy with them. These are not shoes I would recommend anyone purchase!

I bought this pair for my 7 yrs old boy. He loved them. He said they are very comfortable and stylish... Nice quality.

These shoes look great but they fell apart within 3 weeks. My son wore the 6 hours total for run club. It is so disappointing. The straps came off completely. Luckily, Zappos is awesome and easily exchanged them!

Very cute! My son needed them rather big compared to what I usually buy. Easy for him to put on himself and he loves that.

Ouchies! We had to return these, because there is a bulky seam right where the tongue attaches to the shoe. Once the shoe is closed, it presses down against the top of the foot. Even my 7-year-old son, who prefers style over comfort, said it hurt, and he asked me to return them. I checked his other shoes, and none of them has a seam there. They all have one continuous piece of shoe material that makes up the top of the shoe and the tongue. This was my first purchase of the Puma brand.

Got these for my 4 year old. He has loved them. Good shoe for the price and fit true to size.

Great shoe for my toddler. He can put them on and take them off easily. They are easy to care for. After a long day at the park or daycare, just toss them in the washer and they're as good as new.

Shoes were awful! The fell apart at the seems & the Velcro strap broke. Don't buy these! These are our 2nd try with Pumas and they don't hold up for an active boy!

Bought these for my son and I loved them. He was four at the time I bought him these shoes and didn't know how to tie yet. Just perfect for a boy on the go.

Purchased these for my 6 year old son. He can get them off and on all by himself. They are stylish and well made. He wears them a lot, and says they are more comfortable than his other tennis shoes. Awesome shoes!

They boy (age 6) had been wearing Disney character shoes with flashing lights for the last 4 years...but was tired of the Velcro giving out after a few weeks...so I got these for him, he declared them "cool", and he's been wearing them every day now for weeks. Mom is happy because the Velcro hasn't given out, he's happy because he's wearing "cool big boy shoes".

Got these for my very active 5 year old. They lasted 6 months until he grew out of them and the exterior fabric wore out in places. Good shoes but wish the exterior would have worn better for the price.

I absolutely love these shoes! I purchased these for my five year old son and he loves them too. That is saying a lot because he does not like anything. They are super stylish and the Velcro allows him to do it himself. They are soft and flexible allowing him to run and be crazy without slowing him down. We have them in blue, too!

One of my son school shoes for this year and it was his choice. He says that the shoe is real comfortable and he loves the look... So far great shoe....

These are nice shoes however after a few wears the bottom of the shoe the inner soles keep coming up. It's rather annoying. Now getting these shoes on or off my son needs help and it should be easy. I can't seem to get the soles to stay in place for the life of me. Anyhow he stopped wearing them. Seems there is some what of a design defect.

It definitely runs at least a half size smaller. I would recommend ordering a half to one size larger and see how it feels. Since there are no laces to adjust, my son said it hurt the top of his foot.
