This shoe is outstandingly cute but it has little cushioning and is not for walking in Europe (which is why I bought them)! I thought this Rieker would be a heavily cushioned walking shoe but this shoe has a regular foam insole and I could feel every bump and crack on the pavement. Granted, I have "old" feet but I wouldn't want to wear these walking on cobblestone streets in France or for long days in the mall. I got them in the Stone/White Denim color and it was beautiful and would match anything. They didn't look like ugly walking shoes and were very fashionable to wear while traveling. The rubber soles squeak on wood floors. I spent 2 hours on the internet researching how to make the squeak go away. I tried sanding the sole lightly but that did nothing. I tried applying hair conditioner to the sole and wiping it off. Amazingly, this decreased the squeak by half but how long would the effect last? I decided to return the shoes. If you want to insert your own insole to provide more cushioning, order up a half size or more. I wear a size 7 and I got the 38 and it was too tight to use my thicker insole and wear a thin sock. I may reorder this shoe in a larger size for walking around town on my insole if the new shoe I get doesn't squeak.

Love love these shoes - so stylish and fit great. Not much arch support so inserts may be needed. Just enough room in the toe box for my hammer toes. I bought the stone/denim color and they will go with just about anything. The denim color is a muted grey blue.

Comfortable insole and seemingly generous toe box would make this a perfect shoe. Unfortunately, the toe box is not as wide as it seems. I can't wear it.

I purchased this shoe to wear with capris and shorts. While it is cute, the leather that touches your skin was fairly rough and the strap was just too wide, So back they go. If your feet aren't sensitive and more narrow than wide, these may be the perfect shoe for you.

I love these shoes. Soft, good supprt, non slip sole, all I wanted for a whole day walking on streets. Unfortunately I have to return them because one of my feet and a strap do not go together

I bought these shoes for a trip to China where I knew there would be a lot of walking. There is really no arch support in these shoes, but I did manage to fit in an orthotic insert for the long walking days even with them being my regular size because of the adjustable strap. They are comfortable, cute and great for travel - easy on and off, with plenty of room in the toe box for those of us who might have a little wider than normal feet. They are lightweight and go with just about everything. I have found in the past that Riekers do not fit me well, but this one is true to size. I typically wear a 6½ or 7, and the 6½ fit fine, comfortable out of the box.

I walked and walked and walked some more, all over Athens, Santorini Island and Istanbul with these shoes. It was effortless, easy and a wonderful foot experience.

I've had this shoe for 2 seasons, have worn them out, and am considering purchasing another pair. I just read the first few reviews on these, and they do not match my experience. I've spent many days walking 5 miles or more in these shoes, and my feet have been comfortable. I wear orthotic inserts due to arch injury to one foot, so cannot speak to internal arch support. My partial orthotics are not visible in these shoes, and the back of the shoe is high enough and cups enough to hold my foot properly -- back is also adjustable by velcro tab. The toe box is roomy enough for the moderate bunion I have on one little toe. The foot bed is soft leather and a bit cushioned, and the sole is thick enough not to feel rocks when I stride. I'm 50 years old, live in MN.

I wore one pair down and promptly purchased another. They are airy and supportive, even though they are flat. I have problems with width but have found these to be wide enough because the strap that goes over the instep is very adjustable. I saw them in green on another website and wish Zappos had them in that color as well.

Very comfortable right out of the box. I have a wide forefoot and narrow heel. The fit is fine in both places. Foot bed is soft and supportive even though these are quite flat.

Really good looking, but stitching and ridge of strap hit exactly on my bone spur.

I own several pairs of Rieker anti-stress shoes. We travel a lot and since I discovered Rieker I do not worry about feet hurting on long excursions. These shoes fit and are super comfortable. As always, I get lots of compliments on all of Rieker shoes. Also, love Zappos!

Love Rieker and love these shoes. Comfy with or without socks. Every time I wear them someone comments on how great they look. Very pleased. Fit was just what I expected. Wear a 7-7 1/2 and got the 38 as usual, perfect. Get some you won't be disappointed. Plus they are cushy on the inside, yay!

From the moment I put on these shoes, they were pure comfort. I wear them almost everyday, and in as much as I practically live in denim pants, they are the perfect compliment. Lots of padding on the bottom and the velcro adjustable straps make for the great shoe. Try them, you'll like them...

Love, love, love these shoes. Goes great with everything, dress up or down. Rieker is a very comfortable shoe, no break-in time. Ready to wear and comfortable right from the first time you put them on. . Zappos got it to me over night. Thanks for great service!

Love this shoe! Goes with so many things and comfort is a Rieker tradition. Velcro adjustments in two places make custom fit easy.

The usual stylish comfort from Reiker. I was going to use them for work, but I found that they were not comfortable enough for 8 hours on my feet on a concrete floor. But they are great for anything else.

Very different & stylish look. Very comfortable as well. Ordered & happy with the size 39 (8)...have another pair of Rieker's in a size 40; has always been a little too big.

I loved the design of these shoes but they just felt and looked a bit too long & generally too roomy. I'm not sure if I ordered a size down if that would have helped. They are very cute though and look really well made so I was disappointed with the fit.

Cute euro style for summer. Well constructed upper, flimsy sole. It fit my wide foot and accommodated my orthotics perfectly but had absolutely no support. It would have been a comfortable shoe if it had a better sole. Sent it back.
