I bought my first pair 4ish years ago. I have walked many miles in them. I was psyched to see them back in stock. They look a little different on the thong than in the picture and past versions but still very nice.

I got these as a gift after being skeptical about buying when I saw reviews critical of the redesign. If you originally bought Dreams because you had bad feet and needed arch support and could actually wear these flip flops for extended periods, the redesign won't help you. They're more comfortable than your average flip flops yes, but they will no longer be a dream for bad feet. The ways they're different: 1. They're narrower (like it seems all new Reefs are) 2. The sole is much more slippery than the old style 3. The footbed is not nearly as ergonomic. Not as much arch support and no upturn at the toes. Very very flat compared to the old ones. I was comparing my old pair (which are more comfortable than the new) to the new pair as I wrote this. The straps and cushion are still comfortable. I wouldn't spend full price on them anymore though. Reef please fix your quality control. I have worn your flip flops for 17 years and paid whatever I needed to pay to get them. Now I've returned two pair of different styles in the last few months and gone with a different brand aktogether.

I was so excited to see these Reef Dreams back on the site. I have two of the original pairs left, that are at least 10 years old. I was happy to finally be able to retire those 2 old pairs. However when these two pairs arrived, I could tell just by looking at them, these were not the same as my beloved originals. First thing that is different is these new ones are cut a bit more narrow than my old ones. Second issue is the straps, totally different material and feel. The third and the main reason I sent back both pairs is the footbed and sole of these. Yes they appear to have the same comfy cushioned footbed as my originals, but once on I drastically missed that extra arch support. The whole bottom of the shoe I felt lacked in quality. The way the footbed and the actual bottom of the shoe were put together looked sloppy and like they would separate easily down the road. I wish I had taken comparison pictures between my old pairs and these new ones, but at the time I was so bummed I just put them back in the box and printed a return label. I have seen other reviews on here that acknowledge the same things I have mentioned. I will say if you never had the true original dreams, then yes I'm sure you'll like these. However for those of us that have experienced the true cushioned arch support dreams these do not cut it. Please please Reef dig down deep in the vault and bring back the dreams from 10+ years ago. These are the only ones I have worn for the last 13 or so years and it's not been fun trying to find a pair I like better.

This is my 3rd pair of Reef Dreams and this pair is not like the other 2 pair. The quality is just not the same. The bands are looser and the padding is different with not much arch support. Disappointed with this last pair. Reef is my favorite brand for summer sandals.

These sandals felt like I was walking on clouds. Really loved them! Then the strap between the toe broke. This was my second pair, same thing happened to the first. I'm very disappointed.

I was buying this style for years and then they weren't available anymore. Was so excited to see they were available again and ordered immediately. Unfortunately whatever new materials being used are not the same. They are too big, stretchy, and over all cheap feeling. Bring back the original please. These are awful.

This is my 3rd pair of this particular shoe and my 9th pair of Reefs. I've never had a problem with them before but this pair has a defect in the shoe and with continued wear they will break completely.
