I usually wear size 8/1 or 9. The 9 in this Ansley was WAY SMALL. The other UGG I received at the same time (Tasman) in size 9 is perfect. I like the Ansley other than the sizing on at least this particular pair of 9s is way off. I'm still looking for the return label, so will have to call customer service I guess. I know they're excellent, but too bad for this extra step. 2/27/19

I would give these 5 stars if they came in 1/2 sizes. I'm a 9 1/2, I ordered a 9 and a 10. My foot was slipping out of the 10 and the 9 is too short. A 9 1/2 would be perfect. I kept the 9, hoping it would stretch, but after 1 month they still feel too short. It's a very nice, well made, warm slipper.

I wish UGG would get it together on their sizing. I have their boots and also summer shoes. This is my 3rd pair of the same EXACT slipper, I've worn them for years. In the past, I loved them that much. This time, I ordered the same size--a 6--as I've always worn and they were so tight as to be uncomfortable, not what you want in a slipper! I figured they would stretch and the sheepskin would flatten out. 9 months later, they were still uncomfortable and still pinched in the toe. So I gave up and ordered another pair in the next size up, a 7. These were way too big, slipped off my heel and would have been a hazard to walk in so I returned them. My usual shoe size is 6.5 M. So, I guess the lesson here is if you are a half size... beware. This may not be the slipper style for you. I have to give up on my beloved go-to comfy slipper.

Loved these slippers when I first got them. I thought the brand and the price paid would mean it was well made and last a long time. However, only after 2 years of wearing them (only a few months out of the year they were worn), the soles started to crack and break off making them completely unwearable! I definitely would not recommend.

Ran way smaller than regular Ugg boots which I have three pairs of. Could hardly get my foot in at all. And the top seemed comically short on my foot. Not as cute in person. Returning.

Felt a full size too small. No arch support. Nice warm shoe, but due to size, they are being returned.

So sad I seem to be the only person with this issue but these squeaked like crazy on our hardwood floors :/ We have a toddler so between his nap and early bedtime, a noisy slipper is just a no-go. Sad because they looked cute on and felt pretty comfy.

These are really cute, but they slip on my heels. They are not too big because my toe nearly touches the front of the shoe, and they are too small with thin socks. I believe the problem is the design - the rubber sole and extra suede and stitching come up the back of the heel making that area of the shoe less deep that the rest of it. Unfortunately I must return them.

After wearing the Scuffette for years and being super pleased with the comfort and durability, this winter I wanted a warmer slipper - something with a closed heel. The Ansley looked like the answer! Sadly, although I've always worn an 8 in Ugg slippers and boots (and almost every other brand & style of shoe), straight out of the box, the size 8 Ansley slipped off the heel of my right foot. It slipped over my heel with each step, and the slipper wasn't even broken in yet. Thankfully, Zappos customer support is fantastic! Back they would go, and within minutes the size 7 was already on its way to me -I haven't worn a size 7 since grade school, but the 8 was definitely too large. As much as I wanted the 7 to fit - or at least stretch to fit - there is no way. I have narrow feet, but the toe box of the right foot size 7 slipper was terribly tight. (Yes, it was the right slipper that slipped off my heel in the 8...??) The left slipper was very snug, but the bones in the ball of my right foot were squeezed painfully, and my toes were numb in less than 5 minutes. I wish this were an exaggeration; it's not. I wish that I could wear the Ugg Ansley. I can't. I'm a little jealous of those of you who can.

I wear a 7 1/2, but I have high instep and arch so I ordered an 8, thinking it would be more than adequate. It's a slipper, and I could barely get my foot in; it was so uncomfortable I couldn't leave it on for even a minute. I have UGG boots and have not had this problem.

I wear size 9, but the size 9 in this was way too small. I ordered the 10 and it was too loose in the heel ( I wear a narrow width), so I gave them to my husband and they fit him better. Was hoping to wear them for everyday.

This is the 2nd pair; the first pair, my Left Heel walked out of the slipper. So, thinking a defect, you sent me another pair; this pair, the same thing happened, less so than the first, but I still can't keep them; wouldn't be safe to risk walking out of the Left slipper..... darn, I'm disappointed.

I have been purchasing the Ansley slipper for years and this is the first pair I have returned and am disappointed with. The fit seems more snug than usual and the workmanship is poor. The material on the right slipper across the toe was not cut correctly and is very obviously lopsided.

These make my foot look longer than it is which isn't a big deal with house shoes. I did not like the width of the shoe, it was very narrow. I usually wear a regular width shoe but this one felt too snug. I also always wear a size 10 but this felt a little too small. Size up!

Sizing is way off- I'm normally a 6.5, the 7 was much to small to wear, will try an 8.

Normally an Ugg shoe fits my perfectly but the back of the shoe at the heel was too short and these didn't stay on when I would take a step. Bummer, They are going back.

I have bought Uggs in my true size 8 before, so based on that and the other reviews I purchased my true size of these slippers. They were so tight across the top I could hardly get them on my feet. I know that even when the fleece mats down these will still be too tight so I am returning them.

I don’t know what UGG has done with this Ansley Slipper but I ordered my pair for Fall as I’ve done for past 5 years and when I received them and tried on, I could barely get my foot in and when I did, my toes were practically poking out the front of the Slipper. I’m so disappointed and don’t understand what UGG has done differently. Had to return. Bummed.

I have a long narrow foot. I ordered my normal size and they were uncomfortably short but the heel was loose enough that I couldn't keep them on my foot.

Did not fit! Needed to return! The existing reviews did not help me to decide what size to order because they were equally divided for the bigger as well as smaller sizes to try. As I normally wear 8.5 B, I ordered two pairs, one half size up and another one, half size down. Unfortunately, no one was good. Size 9 was too big, size 8 definitely too small with no promise to extend and provide comfort in the future! The leather was not soft enough to guarantee that it may mold around the feet soon. It was rather thick and stiff, much different from a very nice leather that I could feel in the third pair that I ordered along with the UGGs; Old Friend Bella (in size 8), which mimic UGG Ansley. Old Friend won! Perfect size, and very comfortable. Although Bella should provide little better support around the heel, I did not think twice which slippers stay with me. Sorry UGG, I was disappointed this time and needed to return! As always, I am amazed with ZAPPOS service. Thank you!
