It was love at first sight. At second sight, I was trying them on. I have a high instep and they're hard to get on and especially off. Good thing I have a boot pull. I travel a lot, though, and taking my boot pull with me is not an option. They're pretty and sharp looking. I bought the Chestnut. There are some issues regarding the design. The platform isn't high enough to warrant a 3.5" heel. The heel could be a little wider to help address that, too. The platform should be at least 1". Consequently, my heel wiggles if I'm not on a completely flat surface. Not good. I rarely, if ever, have problems when buying shoes, even online. These are an exception. Many times, my ankles twisted because the boot was not sturdy enough at the heel. I could see myself getting an ankle sprain if not careful. An insert would probably help, but boots at this price should not need them. Too much pressure on the heel made me want to get out of them as fast as I could after a day in them. The bottom of my heel was sore. Not good because this brand is known for comfort. I'll return them. If you decide to buy, order a half size up if you want room for thick socks. I wore medium boot socks and they were snug. Back in the hunt for a boot that is smart and comfortable. Good luck!

Great Ugg boot. The heel is just a bit too high (for me) to walk any great length. However, I am not use to walking fast in this high of a heel. Other people may not have any problems! Excellent customer service with Zappos!

Comfortable and stylish. I liked the flexibility in styling and jeans are easily tucked into these boots even when cuff unfolded. The sturdy rubber soles makes them extremely easy to walk in and they're surprisingly light.

It is a beautiful boot but it is so heavy, that it makes it very hard to walk in for a length of time. I was very surprised, and disappointed.

I love this boot. It is a boot you'll enjoy many years. Comfortable, I found heel size perfect for me. I wear size 5, largest part of calf is 11 1/2 inch. Nice you can wear rolled up or down. Looks great both ways. I seen 1 person returned b/c had trouble pulling off. I found easier to pull of if you fold down first. Remember to have great fit around calf, it is going to be a little harder to get shoe off. I think loose boots around calf, make you look heavy and short. A great fit around calf extends legs and looks more sexy on everyone. I could tell my boot was a return, b/c sole a little dirty. I didn't care was happy to get my size. That is how much I love this shoe. It's on sale, hurry!

Very versatile and nice boots. They are actually my very first Uggs, and I love it! Yes, it is high heels, so it will use some muscles that you're not used using it, if you don't wear high heels, but they are definitely very comfortable. Get 1/2 size larger if you want to wear them with socks.

These are my first pair of Ugg boots, and I adore them! I originally purchased the boots for a week-long ski trip, and they got real dirty because I wore them every single day. However, I used the Ugg cleaner on them and now they're good as new! Plus, I get lots of compliments on them. Definitely a good buy.

I never really cared for the typical Ugg boot until I saw the Josie and Brienne styles. When I saw they were on sale I had to get both. They are as beautiful as they appear on the web site. They are comfortable and cozy, probably best worn with a thinner sock/stocking. They are my favorites and they will stay in style for a long time.

This is my very first pair of Uggs and I'm very happy with my purchase. I'm a heels gal so Josie give me style as well as comfort. The shoe is cut narrow so wide feet gals should buy a size up as I had to (good thing Zappos has an excellent no hassle return policy). Keep in mind only the sole is fur lined the rest is suede and it is soft throughout. Also, it takes a little work to roll the shaft up/down but it reassures that the shape should keep looking good.

Great looking, attractive, and versatile boot offering much flexibility for your wardrobe! The stout color is a nice, deep brown. Great purchase and will get much use from them. Highly recommend.

These are beautiful boots, and very comfortable to wear. They can be worn with or without socks, and they are true to size. There is plenty of leg room when worn as tall boots for straight leg jeans to tuck inside nicely. Overall, these are beautiful boots. I am glad I bought them!

I love these boots! Very comfortable,much more sleek then other Uggs I have that are way more bulky. I have a large calf so they are a little snug at the top but I just shrug them down a little bit and they look great. As always the best service and shipping from Zappos.

Love! I guess you can tell that I love this boot! I was a bit nervous at first - not seeing the boot in person and already owning a similar style/color of boot (in leather) - I scoured Zappos for days looking for a comfy, uber cute, suede boot - and stumbled upon Josie. So glad I did! It is unlike my other Ugg boots in so many ways but offers the same comfort and style I've come to expect from Ugg. The suede is like butter, the heel (although rubber) is super comfy - compared to my other wooden high heel boots. It feels as if you are walking on clouds and the inside - aaahhh! The only concern is that the boots were not packaged in a typical Ugg box - just a plain brown box with boots wrapped in white tissue. I have ordered many pairs from Ugg directly and they are always packaged in an Ugg box with some type of Ugg paper insert. Petty, I know but wondering why? Will call Zappos to see. They have always been extremely helpful! Back to the Josie - buy! Thinking (as in, will) order another pair in a different color!

I bought these boots in Christmas for my sister and she loved the look. After the first time she wore them, she thanked me again! She said that it was the most comfortable boots she has ever worn. I loved them too, so much that I bought me a pair for me! I agree with my sister - I love my new Ugg boots!

I love these boots. They are so comfortable and the color is great. I get tons of compliments whenever I wear them . They fit different than my other UGGs due to their style so would possibly go a half size larger than usual.

Love these boots! They are so comfortable if you're looking for a nice boot you can wear standing all day. They are a little narrow in the ankle. I usually wear an 8.5 and got a 9 in these because of the lack of zipper etc. highly recommend!

I love these boots! They feel a little tight, but I expect that they will stretch out a bit. Very nice suede...so soft.

I bought these as a gift for my sister. She never owned Uggs, but only wears heels. She wore them to a Chicago Bears game in December, with no socks. She raved at the comfort and warmth the shoes provided.

Really love the look of these. I bought them to wear folded as shown, not really thinking they'd work for me otherwise as I have a wide calf, but much to my surprise (and delight) they actually did work unfolded and looked great. I found they do not have enough padding, so that is unfortunate as they are really cute and look as though they might be more comfortable then they are. Overall, though, I am OK with that but will not wear in a situation where I'll be standing for a long period of time.

Love these boots! I bought the chestnut color which is a very rich, warm, golden brown and perfect for fall. I can dress them up with a skirt or dress, or down with jeans or leggings. Because you can wear them up or folded down, it's almost like having two pairs of boots for the price of one! The only thing I would note is that they are pretty narrow in the calf (I have skinny calves, and don't think I could get these on in the unfolded position over any kind of pants except for leggings or the skinniest of jeans), but maybe they stretch out over time? Still, that's fine with me because I'm not sure what other kind of pants I would tuck into them anyway. Great look; can't wait to put them into the boot rotation!

I love this boot, the first time I saw it I knew I had to buy them!!! I am loving the fact the Ugg is trying to make their boots for more appealing for women of a certain age. I am 38 and the original boots don't fit my lifestyle, I prefer a heel.

I have been coveting these boots since last fall and finally bought them because they were on sale. It was love at first sight! I stupidly wore them without socks the first day however and for that got the most painful deep blister I have ever gotten. It took two weeks to heal and for me to get back into normal shoes. With that said...I still love them and will give them another shot, hopefully with better results this time!
