I just got my Ugg Channing boots in the mail today -- and I purchased them on the phone at 5pm last night! I think I love them! I like the color...I think they are brown, not close to black at all. They are a chocolate brown. I was looking for a warm, stylish comfortable boot for walking while touring Paris in the cold winter and I think I found it! I am a huge fan of Ugg and have several pairs, but this is the first structured book that I have owned. By the way, I wear a size 8 and it is true to size, it may in fact be a tad too big (but I'll wear wool socks). I have wide feet also and do find these narrow. I wouldn't order a size bigger, that's my recommendation. Also, I have large calves, about a 15 (even though I am 5'3" and a small person) and while these are snug in my calf, I can get them on with jeans and I think because the leather is so soft that they will stretch even more. Frequently I can't even buy boots because my calf is so large. Great boot!

I'm so happy to have found my perfect winter boots. I ordered a size 7, and found the foot length to be true to size. The calf circumference at its widest point is 14 1/4 on the inside, (I measured) so my 14" calves fit perfectly. The toebox is slightly narrow, although I don't have wide toes, so I'm hoping I notice this less as the leather softens. Overall the boot appears to be very high quality, with beautiful soft pebbled leather, and well-finished stitching. The sole flexes as you walk.

First of all, as usual, Zappos out done my expectations! Thank you for a great and speedy shipment! Second, the boots are amazing. They are super comfortable, beautiful and unique. One thing to be aware of it that the boot is very close to the true size and if you wear a size 8.5 it will be exactly at that size and not any bigger. If you plan on wearing thick socks you might need to consider .5 size bigger.

These are my first pair of UGG's and they are extremely comfortable and fit better than any other boots I have had. I got my normal size and while they have stretched a little, with a thin pair of socks and tights they fit fine. They look great with a skirt and pants; can be dressed up or down. I have short legs and they are not too tall. They required no break in.

First, I thank you Zappos, you always have great service! I got these boots in 5.5. My 13.5 calves didn't fit although the boots are marked 15" circumference. So I called Zappos, and they sent me another pair at 6 at no extra cost, and they fit great! Ladies with muscular calves beware. The leather isn't too soft nor stiff. Overall, I love these boots!

Received my boots in only a few days even though it was the week of Thanksgiving and got to wear them over the break. Love the look and comfort. Plan on wearing with skinny jeans or short dresses, weather permitting. Leather is soft and pebbled so it won't show scuffs much and keeps them from looking dainty. I've had other Uggs before and loved the shearling on the shaft since I don't wear socks. That is not the case with these boots. The softy wooly stuff is only on the inside sole. I guess that's the price to pay for good looking and comfy boots. So far, I am very happy with them.

Bought this boot for my 19 year old daughter. She has a black pair and simply loves them so when the chocolate brown was restocked, I ordered them immediately. Placed my order at 5pm and they were at my door the next day. She has a narrow foot and thin calves; this boot is perfect for her! So many compliments. True to size. Zappos is fabulous!

I have this boot in black and it's gorgeous. I own several pairs of the typical UGG boots in size 6 but those boots are so wide, sloppy and full of fuzz that I couldn't tell whether the size you take in that boot was a good indicator of sizing in their "real" footwear. As such, I ordered a half-size up in this boot and it was bang on. The pebbled leather is high quality, as is the sole and the metal stirrup bit at the back. Fuzzy soles make them super comfo.

I have these in Chestnut Leather and they are the best riding boots ever! Because they're Uggs the sole is lined with that fabulous wool, but they are super cute riding boots. I constantly get compliments on these... If you're only going to own one pair of riding boots- these are a must have.

These boots are really beautiful. They are also very comfortable. I am very picky with my boots and it took a while for me to select boots that I wanted. These are just perfect and I may have to get them in black. Do not hesitate to get these as you will not be disappointed!

I love these boots. They're comfortable but not nearly as bulky as regular Uggs. The black color gives it a slightly more casual look but still can be worn with dresses and skirts.

I absolutely love these boots! I only wish they made them fully lined. I will definitely be buying Uggs again.

I was looking for nice black boots that would work with jeans and skirts. I have to admit when I took these out of the box, I was not too excised. Then I tried them on and they are insanely comfortable and the leather is amazing. I am only 5'4" but these hit me at a flattering point in my calf. I previously bought a pair of Frye Dorados and had to return them because they were too high. This is a nice alternative and much cheaper. Not to knock Frye, because I love my Melissas. I am not crazy about the brown soles, but I will get over that.

These boots are amazing! I love them and wear them every day. I've received countless compliments on them. My only gripe would be that the leather scratches easily to maintenance is key. Overall these are my dream boots!

One of the most beautiful boots I've ever seen in person. Great leather. Great detail. I was worried the high price was just to pay for the UGG brand. In fact, the quality is there to back it up. Just gorgeous.

These are very comfortable cozy and stylish boots... I have only had them a day and after wearing them in the house for an hour I was impressed with how comfortable they were. I have a decent size calf and they fit fine with skinny jeans tucked in. Zappos is incredible as far as delivery goes... I'm always surprised how quickly after ordering I receive the product...

Gorgeous boots! I wear a 7 shoe, 7 1/2 boot and the 7 1/2 were too small. I would order up at least a 1/2 size. So back they go. I might have had to return them anyway because they were so warm. If you are a warm person like me they might drive you crazy. If you are one of those with constant cold feet these are the boots for you. They were so gorgeous I might try size 8 and try to get the fur sole out and replace it with something else.

I bought this boot about a week ago and love it! I have worn them several times and received many compliments every time. I have been trying to find a boot that would fit well on my muscular calves and this one does. I would highly recommend these!

I have looked for a pair of boots that fit me for years, without sucess. I have a high instep and thick calves. These boots are perfect and I love them. At last!

I love these boots, seriously pined over them for a month before purchasing. But sadly, they run freakishly small, both in the shoe and the shaft. As in, I wear a size 7 and only the shaft of the 8.5 fit. I measured - the size 7 has a 14" shaft, and my calves are 14.5". Combine that with skinny jeans and I need a 15" shaft. The shoe part is also way small. So order at least a full size up. Better yet, try them on at the store before you buy, which I foolishly didn't do.

Best boots ever! The leather is great quality, and they have the furry Ugg lining at the bottom of the boot which makes them super comfortable. They fit me like a glove and are so pretty!

This boot is perfection and shopping with Zappos made it even better. I had been looking for a riding style boot, but wanted one that would stand the test of time and wasn't just for fashion. People aren't kidding when they say the leather is like butter. The traditional UGG insoles are brilliant and this may be the most comfortable boot I have ever put on. Three notes: I did buy half a size up and am glad I did so, but only because my foot runs wider and I needed the width. Length seems true to size. Second, the heel base is a bit narrow, but I think it will mold nicely with wear as do most leather boots. Last, I have athletic legs and need a solid 14+" in skinny jeans/boot shafts and had no problem with the shaft width and could tuck jeans in (thanks to the side zipper) no problem. Overall, a beautiful boot. The chestnut is a bit darker than pictured and I can vouch the chocolate is really close to black. Splurge! Totally worth it.

Love these boots! They are comfy and gorgeous. I think they are very unique and have not seen anything like them. I usually wear a size 6.5 bought these in a size 7 and they fit just right.
