Customer Reviews UGG Bailey Button Triplet Bomber

I usually wear a size 8½ or 9. I ordered these in a size 8 (based off of reading reviews) and they fit perfectly. I do love the look of these boots, however they have faded considerably. I bought them mid season last winter and I thought I noticed them fading. When I pulled them out to use again this season they are nowhere near as dark as the picture shows. I happened to be at Nordstrom the other day and asked if they recommended anything I could put on the boots to restore to the original color. They said they did not recommend using anything since it is not made of same material the other Ugg boots are made of. I am disappointed in that. I do still love them, but would simply get the regular baileys next time. If it makes a difference, I ordered the darker brown bomber. Not sure if the chestnut or gray fades the same.

I love the style and feel of this boot, but there are a few cons in my opinion. First, the sheepskin insole is not removable -- what's up with that, Ugg? I honestly cannot understand why they would make these without removable insoles. I always wear sheepskin boots without socks, and it's important to me to be able to wash the insoles and change them out when they get worn. This lack of removable insole thing would have been a deal breaker for me if I had paid full price for these boots. Second, as other reviewers mentioned, the bomber effect wears off quickly, which isn't great. The darker color simply disappears in places (like the top of the toe and foot and on the front of the ankle) so you end up with patches of light suede. It's like these boots are really just suede with some sort of treatment on top to make them look like bomber leather. It's odd. Otherwise, I like the Bailey Button style and, of course, the boots are super comfortable. I wear a 7 in regular shoes and structured Uggs but always take a 6 in unstructured Uggs. The 6 fits great in these.

I was so excited to get a pair of Uggs. So I did. They were cute at first and then the dark bomber wore off and became a light tan. I am very disappointed.

I loved these when I first got them but 85% of the "bomber" effect has fallen off. I do take very good care of my Uggs so it's not worth the money if they are just going to look like the Bailey triplet button in 2 months.

The darker brown is coming off and now they are looking extremely cheap. I have about 8 pairs of Ugg shoes and have never had this happen, when I first got them I loved them and received many compliments, terribly sad to see such cute boots have this happen. I'd return them but I no longer have the box.

First off I love, love, love these boots! Which is why I am sooo disappointed! The finish on my boots started rubbing off right away. After only several wears they aren't even their original dark brown color anymore. I reluctantly had to send them back. I couldn't justify the price when they looked so beat up after only a couple wears.
