Not a good buy. I bought these for my son because he likes the Puma logo and because they had velcro closure... big mistake. The first pair we bought the toe ripped out in the first week. Thinking it was a fluke, and because Zappos kindly refunded the price, I ordered a second pair. This pair lasted a few months, but now the velcro is separating from the strap and unwinding all over. Very cheaply made. Also, the tongue keeps slipping down making them very uncomfortable. I have just ordered new sneakers (not Puma) for my son and can't wait to get rid of these!! You are paying for the brand--save your money and buy something else!

These shoes are my 5 year old son's favorite. They run true to size, are easy to get on, and he thinks they're really "cool."

I love these for my 5 year old. he easily puts them on and takes them off. they are holding up well with daily wear!

Our son loves his new shoes! He is 8 and doesn't like having to tie shoes when he's in a hurry.

Our son was THRILLED when these arrived. They are as colorful as the picture and perfect for a young man who really likes red.

Very cute shoes but there are two minor design flaws: The tongue tends to slide down and bunch up over the toes--could easily be fixed with a stitch to keep the tongue in place--and the material between the sticky and soft sides of the Velcro comes apart when caught by the Velcro--the design could be fixed with a different material. This wouldn't prevent me from recommending them but maybe the manufacturer reads reviews.

Cute shoe, nice fit, great price for my growing son's feet. However after the first day they looked like an old pair of shoes as the plush surface turned old and dingy. I had even sprayed them with waterproofing but it did not protect the surface. Definitely not a play shoe! Or a good material for kids shoes.

Shoes are the coolest and my son loves them! Easy to get on and off. Always get compliments on them.

Love taking my 6 year old grandson shopping for shoes on Zappos. He still picks and no shopping center/store hassles as he doesn't like to shop. Size was right. He loved them.

Super cute and EASY to get on and off. My little guy loves them and gets a lot of compliments on his red kicks. (Not that he cares.) ;-)

These shoes are super cute, but I do have a couple of complaints. The tongue does not want to stay pulled up and slides down within a few steps after putting these on. Also, the velcro is coming unattached on the underside of the strap where it makes the turn through the hole. And this is all within just after a couple of weeks. My son loves them and I really like how they look, too. We're keeping them (the tongue doesn't seem to bother him and the velcro still attaches, so they look fine), but I expected a little more from a kids' shoe at this price. His Target shoes held up better!

Purchased this shoe as an everyday playground shoe for my kindergartner. While I like the looks of this shoe very much, the suede is not practical for his pebbled playground. After the first day of school they looked trashed.

Loved the look of these right out of the box but the red suede wore pretty fast and they quickly looked shabby. Also, the stitching in the straps frayed and came apart early on. I'm still a fan of Puma but will shy away from suede styles for now.

My 4 year old picked these out and they are great looking shoes. They are true to size, very easy to get on and my son called them his Spider man shoes. However, they lasted about a month before the toe stitching and the Velcro on one of the straps both ripped out. They were worn almost daily by an active 4 year old, but after a month looked like they had been worn and passed down by several kids. The soles were very worn down and the color totally faded, on top of the stitching issues. Good thing I bought them from Zappos who credited me immediately.

My son and I really like the look of these shoes. The velcro strap and "faux laces" makes them look like big kid shoes, yet they are easy to get on and off quickly. My son says they are comfortable, though they don't seem to have as much support as regular athletic sneakers. Unfortunately, the shoes have not held together well. After about 3 weeks, the white rubber Puma label on the back of both shoes fell off. I was disappointed, but since this was merely a cosmetic issue I didn't worry about it. However, after wearing them only 6 weeks, the velcro on the strap unraveled and detached from the strap, leaving the shoe unwearable. Zappos' awesome customer service offered us a refund or exchange without hesitation. We decided to replace these shoes with a different type, since it seems like these particular Pumas are poorly constructed.

I bought these shoes last year, and they were too big so I stored them until my son grew into them...big mistake! He wore them for 2 weeks and immediately there were holes where all the seams met in the front of both shoes, the velcro began separating and shredding, and the rubber logos on the heels began peeling off. They look terrible - even though I loved the appearance when they came out of the box. We have purchased Puma kids shoes before and not had this problem so I'm not sure what is wrong with this style.

Bought these shoes and they lasted a week, Zappos was kind to send a replacement but the same thing happened, went and sent a email to puma with pictures and they cant help me. I was a fan of Puma but not no more I work hard for my money and Puma doesn't care that there product only last a week or two,stay away from this brand.

Incredibly disappointed! My 5year old son loved these sneakers when we got them! He feet are a little wide and they fit him perfectly but basically fell a month into owning them. The tongue slid down by his toes every time he put them on (which bothered him), the velcro ripped off from the strap and a hole appeared on the side of the school. I expected more than 1 month of wear before they fell apart.

I bought these shoes for my son before school started. Within a couple weeks the seams around the soles were coming apart. It has been two months of him wearing these shoes and they are falling apart all over! There is rubber hanging off the sides around the soles or it has come off altogether. The strap with the velcro is so frayed and the PUMA emblem on each strap has already worn off. I thought PUMA made a decent pair of shoes but after this pair, I'm not so sure. My son is four and hasn't worn these for anything other than normal play and day to day stuff. Really disappointed in these shoes.

Shoes are cute but not good quality. Within 4 weeks the rubber bumper is tearing and velcro ripped off the strap.
