I have worn these clogs nearly every day for > 16 years - first as Dansko, and for 3-4 years as Sanita when the companies separated and the Dansko quality became awful. I get a new pair every 12-18 months. Have been very happy with Sanita until now - the pair I ordered in July (which were true to size) had stitching fall apart in November. I exchanged (thanks Zappos) for a second pair which were received 3 days ago - one shoe was true to size and the other was very narrow - felt like 2 completely different shoes. Returned those for replacement - the replacement pair that arrived last night are BOTH exceedingly narrow despite being marked as 39 "regular" width. It appears that Sanita quality control has also become awful. Am back in my 2-year old pair which are understandably worn out due to frequent use - not sure what to do now. I appreciate Zappos return policy and am sad that Sanita must be so poorly managed now.

My previous Sanita clogs gave up the ghost after many years. These are a different color, but essentially the same clog; I'm delighted that they haven't changed appreciably. Sanitas really work for me in a way that other clogs do not--the fit is better. My forefoot is pretty wide but the rest of my foot is not. These are comfortable in the forefoot but fit in a way that feels stable, so not too loose, and the arch feels right. I just had knee surgery, and stability is a high priority. I normally wear a 9.5-10, and got the 41.

Love these shoes! I have worn this brand and style for years running all over a huge Emergency Department. As I age, I realize I still need that support. Very happy to have them and the shipping was quick! Thank you

My Merrell clogs were looking worse for the wear and it was time to replace. I normally wear an 8.5 W when available, or more commonly a size 9 to accommodate my wide feet. In the case of these shoes, I ordered 2 sizes up based on reviews and went with a 41 Wide (the supposed equivalent of a US 10W). I'm glad to report they fit perfectly and just as they should, with just a bit of space in the back and no compression anywhere. So glad I finally splurged, they are amazingly comfortable and pair well with my work trousers. As an aside, I also ordered the same shoe in a 39 Wide and they were extremely tight in length and width. For comparison, the Dansko Professional series fit me extremely well in a 39 W and were nearly identical in comfort and fit to these 41W Sanitas. It was a tough choice deciding between the 2 brands, but in the end, I decided to give the Sanitas a try, despite them running a whole 2 sizes too small. Fingers Crossed I made the right choice!!!

I love Sanita's! I'm on concrete all day lifting heavy items so I needed a shoe with good support and skid resistant sole as well. I tried the 40 initially but it was really big so I ordered the 39. That was a good choice. I would definitely recommend this shoe for comfort, good support, and long hours on your feet.

The Bordeaux Brush Off is an awesome color. It's a great neutral that goes w/Brown and Black and lots of others. I have 2 other pairs of Sanitas that are 43M and they fit pretty well, but ordered a 43W thinking it would give me a little more wiggle room for socks, if I wanted to wear them in the winter. I could just barely get my foot in, but forget about every trying to wear it with socks there was no room left once my foot was in. Yikes! They are at least a size too small. They are going back.

I wanted these Blue Brush Offs to work so badly because they are so cute, but they are WAY too small. Ordered the 43 M because I have 2 other pairs of Sanitas in that size. Couldn't even begin to get my foot in them. They are at least a size too small. Don't know if a 43W would have worked as there aren't any available. Bummer

Very tight fit. I ordered my normal size that I wear in a Dansco (38) and I could hardly get my foot into the shoe. Overall it’s a great look for work but I am disappointed in the fit.

So nice to be able to get Sanitas in a wide width! I had a previous pair in the regular, but had to go up to a 38. But the 37W fits nicely, although I wish the heel was a little bit narrower, I may need to add a bit of moleskin to keep the heels from slipping too much.

Great Shoe. I have a really high arch and these are perfect

I have had a difficult time finding any shoe at a reasonable price that fits my arch/last and instep. I've had the professional Sanita and they were ok. However, my feet actually after a while and I needed something a little wider. The Sanita Cabrio is it!! They have a roomy toe box and instep without feeling like their sloppy or too big. I can wear them with or without socks because of the perfect fit--not toy snug and not too time. Plus they're from Zappos!!

These are great shoes but I have to return because the left shoe was made smaller than the other and is not comfortable.

I have been in the healthcare field for several years and Dansko was always my go to clog brand. However, the last 2 pair of clogs I purchased did not hold up even half as long as my originals that were still made in Europe (as they are now manufactured in China). A cousin of mine gave me a pair of Sanitas about 8 years ago that she purchased new and decided she was NOT a clog person. I took them but honestly thought ..."Oh these must be like generic Danskos" and threw them in the bottom of my shoe pile. After my last 2 "dud" pairs of Danskos I figured I had nothing to lose. Well, 6 years later those Sanitas have been well worn at least 4 days a week and other than the fact that the soles are completely cracked through and the heels are peeling, they still look pretty good! (They are navy blue suade). I could not find an exact replacement, so I opted for the black leather in the same size. Right out of the box, the new ones fit great! I am now a Sanitas girl all the way. No more crappy Danskos, ever!

Really liked the quality and style of the shoe and wish it would have worked for me however it felt like a full size larger than I normally wear. I also have a Mortons Neuroma in my left foot which makes it hard to find shoes that don't cause discomfort. With this shoe my feet slide forward so I know it wouldn't be good for me. Super cute and would be very comfortable for most.

Oh my. How much better my back feels when I have these clogs with good arch support and a firm sole. And even though I am "taller" my balance is much better too.

I am at Dansko customer. I’ve been wearing them for more than 10 years. But they offer nothing in the shiny dark brown. The Sanita foot bed is a bit different from the Dansko, and my “Princess and the Pea” arches needed a couple of tries before they adjusted. The next day, hesitant to send back the style and look of shoes that I’ve been hoping for, I tried them again. I wore them indoors for six hours straight and never thought about my feet except for how cute these clogs were. Thank goodness I didn’t send them back after my first quick trial! Thank you Zappos for making shoe shopping so easy!

After much deliberation and online research, I purchased these Sanitas to replace my similar Danskos, and couldn't be happier! I owned my Danskos for 15 years, and wore them through residency as well as another 10 years as an attending physician. Unfortunately, after all that wear, the soles on the Danskos started to disintegrate and literally fall off. I was hesitant to switch brands (despite more favorable reviews ), and nervous that there would be a break-in period for the new shoes - but they are perfect! I am extremely picky about my work shoes and couldn't be happier with these. They look and fit exactly like the old, and perhaps not better as I have not experienced any tightness across the top like I did initially with the Danskos. They are also slightly more narrow through the toe box than my Danskos were, which for me is a positive, although might not be for everyone. The toe is slightly wider, but adjustable. Highly recommended!

Wowza! I have a really narrow foot, but these babies were tooooo tight. Even going up a size from my old 38s, these were not gonna do it. The regular width was perfect.

I wear Dansko all the time but decided to try Sanita. While the shoe is admittedly beautiful, there was something off about the toe box . I ordered the same size I would in Dansko; the shoe fit but my foot slid forward while walking in my living room and eat hitting the toe box. I don't know if it is because I have very narrow feet or because the shoe is designed differently enough for my tender feet to notice. I work 12 hour shifts and my shoes are my livelihood so I REALLY value a great pair of work shoes. Sorry Sanita but you and I are not compatible. I tried Algeria as well and found them to be too low and my heels were hurting after some time.

Love these shoes! I have now purchased 4 pairs (2 for me, 2 for my mother) in 3 colors and couldn't be happier with the quality, look, comfort, or durability. (I've regularly worn my two pairs for over a year.) I like that the heel can be adjusted, although I've found it rarely needs it. Great arch support, and amazingly light! I could run in them. (I have walked significant distances while wearing them, and I stand hours at a time for my job, and my feet have never hurt.) I love that I can wear them with jeans or dress pants...the subtle shine dresses them up for work. All round great shoe!

I need a narrow width and decided to give Sanita Professional clogs a try. I usually wear a 9-9.5 depending on the shoe and brand, and the 40 in Narrow Width were a perfect fit for my feet. The shoes are sturdy, which is exactly what I was looking for. I have never found a pair of work clogs that would fit my narrow feet until now, and I love them. They could become my favorite pair of work shoes. I have narrow, flat feet and also have plantar fasciitis with heel pain. My feet are already feeling better after just wearing these shoes for several days. I wish some of the different Sanita styles would also come in narrow width, because I would buy them.

These shoes are great! I've worn my beloved oiled leather Dansko clogs for the past 8 years and finally broke down and replaced them with these. The Sanita is more comfortable in arch support and roomier in the front part of the shoe. This shoe is all around more comfortable, keeping my feet happy after a long day of walking. If you like/love your Dansko's, want the same look but a bit more comfortable shoe, give these a try.

Finally! A fun color clog with the arch support found in plain professional clogs! It took a bit of searching. Thank goodness Zappos allows us to keep trying on shoes until we find the right pair! If you have been trying the patent colors with Dansko and are not finding the support you need, I strongly suggest you try this style. You will not be disappointed!
