These clogs are my favorite. Snug when you first put them on, they stretch well with your foot. The trick is finding the right size and pair. Since these are clogs (not shoes) and are handmade, they can vary a touch from pair to pair, which is why stores have to be authorized dealers who know how to fit your feet. Not only is each pair handmade, they have to fit a specific way: loose enough in the toe box to wiggle your toes, snug over your foot to keep it in place (tight when new because they stretch) and abt an 1/8th inch behind foot so your heel sides up/down freely. They are easy to take care of and can take lots of abuse, easily lasting five years. The best part is Sanita is the original shoemaker of these clogs and they are made the exact same way they have always been made. (Alternatively, Dansko decided to hire cheap labor in China when they severed ties with Sanita; no thanks.)

I love these clogs! They come in narrow too. I have the patent leather. I used an Armor All protector then put several coats of car wax on them which works perfectly to keep the finish perfect. Reapply now and then.

I wanted to let people know that because these shoes are handmade, the size varies significantly from pair to pair. I just went to my local clog store, and I tried on 3 pairs in same size that were super different on my foot, and the salesman explained that it's because they are handmade. So people might want to order more than one pair in a single size to get the right fit for them.

Sanitas are the original Danskos. Sanitas are made in Europe and Danskos in China. The difference is in quality. Sanitas are heavier and well made. I'm a US size 9 regular width. I ordered Sanitas size 40 EU/9.5-10 Wide US. I like to wear thick wool hiking socks. They are stiff and I don't expect to wear them in, which is why I ordered a wide. There's no way I could wear the EU size 41/10.5-11 Wide US. I tried them first, thinking I'd order up a size. They fell off my feet when I walked. Zappos exchanged them for the EU 40 Wide at no charge and let me have a few days to try on both before I sent one back. Great customer service over phone.

It took a week or so to get used to the hard soles, but now they're my most comfortable shoes for days when I'm just standing for 8 hours. They're heavy, so they're not great for walking, but perfect for just standing around.

They aren't the most stylish shoes in the world, but they're so comfortable. It may take some time to getting used to your heel slipping upwards with every step, but that's the way it is supposed to move. I love them. Since becoming a mom and carrying my kid everywhere, I'm prioritizing the way my feet feel over the way I look.

I walk hard on my heels and constantly wear down work shoes because of it. Sanitas is the first brand that I have found to be both extremely comfortable and durable! I am now a life long customer of this brand.

Zappos provides excellent service. I purchased Sanitas which are classy shoes; however, they were a little tight even though they were they same size that I wear in the Dansko brand. Return of the shoes is easy even though I misplaced the return paper work. Zappos was able to email me the info I needed to accomplish the return. I will continue to purchase goods that I need from Zappos.

So comfortable (although took a little time to get used to them) and I am a nurse and am on my feet a lot. I would highly recommend.

I bought a pair of Sanita Clogs to replace a pair of Dansko. Unhappy - the fit is very different and the cheap leather has peeled of on the toes on 1 shoe and looks terrible. Buy Dansko.

I wear a 9 usually but in these I ordered a 40 and the fit is perfect. I had originally tried Dansko but they just didn't fit as well. A 39 in Dansko was too short but fit the rest of my foot well. A 40 in Dansko was perfect in length but way to big otherwise and fit too sloppy. The 39 wide in Dansko felt a tiny bit better then regular but still too short. I ended up returning all of them and switching to Sanita. They look the same but a 40 in Sanita is the right length and the right fit everywhere else as well. Sanita runs tighter and less sloppy then Dansko. I love my Sanitas, I work 8 hour shifts standing on concrete and loading and unloading kilns and these are the first shoes that my feet don't hurt in at the end of a long work day.

While these clogs will never going to be confused with a sexy stiletto, I love and cherish the pair that I bought 12 years ago. Perfect for my job as a full time art teacher, I wear mine frequently. At this point they do look pretty broken in. The leather has a predictable amount of scuffs and scratches considering I teach ceramics, however the arch support and cushioning are still performing as if new. My feet always feel great at the end of the day.

I love Sanita's! I work on concrete flooring and I go through shoes like nobody's business. But my Sanita's are long lasting and my feet don't ache like they do with other shoes. I wish I would've bought the wider version of these shoes, though. They are a little too narrow by my toes for my comfort. I am probably going to sell this pair and buy the correct size.

This purchase was my 3rd pair of Sanita clogs. Great fit, comfortable and sturdy. Will keep buying as long as they keep producing new and funky colors!

Gorgeous color and a great shoe! The deep blue is covered by a layer of black, much like a cordovan leather. Although clogs always take a little breaking in for me across the bridge of the foot (nothing a little stretching can't fix), I have worn these beauties almost every day since I bought them. Dress them up or down, they're my new favorite shoes!

Took a long time to finally make the decision and order these, even though everyone at work raved about them! Now I own 2 pairs to alternate on workdays, look professional enough with dress pants and keep my feet happy!

I ordered these shoes before a trip to San Antonio. They were the only shoes I wore throughout the trip. So comfortable. Love Zappos!

Love the Sanita Professional Clog! Dansko's no longer fit me correctly. The 35 is very tight and the 36 is gigantic. I think Dansko sizing is way off the mark the last several years! Thank heavens Sanita size 35 fit perfectly with thin or thicker socks. I generally wear a 5.5 in woman's regular shoes and after trying 6 pairs of Dansko's I found the Sanita, so happy! Small feet can be a serious challenge, I need the support of a clog and the height and I am constantly on my feet, I work in retail, Clogs are the perfect choice, So glad I found the Sanita Brand, I was about to give up! These shoes are as comfortable as the Dansko shoes I bought 8 years ago. They are the same quality.

I work in a hospital and finally retired a very old pair of Dansko clogs. Having looked at Danskos in the stores over the past year or two, I became aware of the change in their manufacturing. I then was determined to buy Sanitas as they were the "original" clog that had been licensed to Dansko. I am very happy with the fit and quality and just came back from Europe walking on miles of cobblestone streets with them - way better than my Nike shoes. I did order 2 pairs - my usual size and the size above because of some of the reviews on Zappo. My usual size was just perfect. Thankfully with Zappos it was easy to return the 2nd pair.

These shoes aren't gorgeous but they're great when you're on your feet all day. No complaints, these babies were just what I expected.

Love these shoes! They take getting used to if you have never worn Sanitas or Danskos, but they are wonderful once you do. They have done wonders for my low back pain from prolonged standing. I work in healthcare and these are my go to shoes.

I love Zanita brand clogs. Actually they the only brand that I buy. Being on your feet for 10 hours a day is stressful not only for your feet but also your back. I have good back support and posture with this brand. You need to try them!

I ordered the 7.5 -8 size narrow. The body of the shoe was narrow, but the heel was not at all. Even though I wear an 8, it seemed long due to the gapping heel, no grip! Otherwise, a well-made shoe, if a bit clunky for my foot (it is a clog).
