extremely narrow

The instep was too large creating a gap between my foot and the top of the shoe. The shoe fit well in all other aspects and was comfortable right out of the box.

Loved the look and flexibility of this clog. But I have a high instep and the top of this clog rubbed uncomfortably on the top of my foot.

I loved Dansko/Sanita clogs for many years. But since gaining weight, wearing Birkenstocks, my feet have changed. Sigh, they have spread more, and due to the weight change are a bit chubbier. And due to my high instep that I have anyway, the shoes were too tight at the opening. Will try again after weight loss. This is incentive, as I have a rack full of the original Danskos in my closet!

Very round, wide toe box; not stylish enough for me

I wanted to like clogs just to have something to slip on easily but, after I had barely them very much, I started having shooting pain in my big toe/joint area. I talked to my doctor's office and the PA said "Open backed clogs are very bad for your feet." Basically, you don't want your heel moving around or your toes having to grip the shoe to keep it on (flip flops are also very bad for your feet).

Not very comfortable

The other reviewers were right about the length of the clog. I ordered a size up. But it was really too big in the toe box. The smaller size would have been to short. Nice "antique" color but felt like I was wearing the box.

I read all the other reviews and ordered the size 8. I am generally a 7.5 and sometimes and 8. The length was fine but the shoe itself was too loose for my foot. Am returning.

The length was good but the width was wide. Also the leather inside is rough and there is another layer of material inside in toe area that reaches over the toes. It leaves a ridge that rubbed skin off my toes. I cant wear them Sending back

I’ve been wearing sanita and dansko clogs in a size 37 for 30 years. When the company split, I ordered two pairs of dansko clogs from Zappos in my size; one was a size too big, the other was two sizes too big. So I went for the Sanitas, and that had been going well for me, until now. The Sanita Sonja is now different. The top of the clog is not at all what it has always been. Maybe that would be fine? But the right clog is defective. When I put it on, it splays out, and the staples seem like they are weak. Idk what to do. Thank goodness for Zappos, because I can return them. But I may not be able to order this brand online anymore, it’s too inconsistent. Sigh

If you have a high instep this is not for you. Also, going from a 41 to a 42 was like going from a 10 to an 11. It was not a half size larger but a whole size larger. I love this brand but cant get a good fit.
