I love the shoe leather feel and the fit ONCE MY ARCH FITS THRU THE OPENING at the top of the clog. Length is fine and so is width once foot in. Unfortunately I've now worn the clogs and I'm thinking I need to take them to shoe repair to get top stretched--or find a good shoe horn.

It took two orders and three pairs to find the ones that fit me perfectly. First couple were a smidge short. The third pair are perfect. All three fit loose in the heel and provide enough height to not bother my bunions. I have bad ankles and these help me to walk without pain. For me they fit like the Dansko XP 2.0 and Pro pairs I have.
Definitely recommend but patience to find the right pair that fit may be needed. Thank goodness for Zappos great and easy returns and fast shipping.

I have been wearing Dansko/Sanita clogs, size 37, for decades. After reading the many comments on Zappos and other sites about the smaller Sanita sizing I ordered a size larger than I normally wear. It tuned out to be too large. So I will be returning them.

These shoes would just not accommodate my moderately high arches. I tried my size (40 / US women's 9-9½) and the next size up (41 / US women's 10), and the pressure on my arches was just too uncomfortable. They were hard to get on and left an impression on the top of my foot. I even brought them to a shoe repair shop to see about getting the arches stretched, and was immediately told that the arches could not be stretched on these shoes. I do not think that I was the first person to go in with that request. These shoes are so cute and so well made, so I was really disappointed that I had to send them back. If you know you have a lower arch, these should work out fine for you.

These shoe looks great! But they are way too small. I need to go two sizes up but they do not make them that large. Unfortunately I will have to pick different shoes.

These have taken a couple of weeks to get used to, but now I like them. They are very comfortable for standing/walking all day long. They aren't very fashionable, but are OK under long pants with dark socks.

I typically wear 8.5W or 9 in most shoes. Ordered these in a 40W (what supposedly corresponds to a 9-9.5 W). My fluffy feet didn't stand a chance. Could barely slide them in. Sanitas sizing is way off for those of us in the U.S. Don't be afraid to order up to 2 sizes bigger. They truly are comfortable shoes if you can find the right fit. For me, the 41W (supposedly US 10 wide) were Just Right and I even found that the length of the shoes were in line with my size 9 Merrell, New Balance, and Fila shoes.

I initially ordered a size 40 (the size of the clog that fit last year--slightly tight at first but stretched a little to become perfect). This year, the very same clog in the same size, same leather and same color was about an inch too long and absolutely falling off my foot. Note I usually wear an 8.5 shoe, but vary for 8.0 to 9.0 deopending on cut. I returned the size 40 and ordered a 39 but was unable to even jam my foot down into the cog, I felt like the 39 was a size 7 and the 40 was a size 9.5-10.
It seems to me that the quality control in manufacturing has gone awry. The shoe looked well made but the sizing was incomprehensible. I am very disappointed because I have been wearing these clogs for 20 years and now am unable to buy them without going into a shoe store and trying on the specific pair I plan to buy.

I bought the identical shoe one year ago. Tried 39 (which should be correct) too small so bought 40 and fit well. This year 40 is falling off my foot! These shoes are too expensive to have such poor quality control.

I don't know what Sanita has done to the design of their shoes, but they don't fit me anymore. My current 2 pairs of Sanita clogs (full shoe style, not slides) are both 43M, but I just tried the Professional Oil in Black and the women's 43M don't fit. Most women's styles don't come in a wide and size 43 is the largest women's size they offer. Since these clogs are unisex and the same color is offered in mens, I bought the same clog in men's sizes 44 and 45 (the 45 since I've been reading so much about other folks also having problems with them being too small). Men's sizes didn't offer wide. The 44 was snug w/o socks, but was better than the 43. The 45 gave me the right space at my heel and was proportionally wider, and would have worked with a thin sock but still didn't feel quite right. What is going on? My foot has been the same size for years. It's not my foot so has to be the shoe. Come on Sanita.... so disappointed. They are all going back.

This clog did not accommodate my high arch. I went up two sizes based on other reviews. Loved the shoe but not the right fit for me.

I have been wearing Dansko clogs for years, but when I saw these gray ones from Sanita, and have been reading great reviews of Sanita for years, I decided to try them. I ordered a size 39 instead of my usual 38 because several people indicated that this clog runs small. The length was fine, but the clog was tight across the instep. It was as though this was a narrow width, but in fact it is regular width. A disappointment, but a nice looking clog.

They were really tight on the top. Everything else fit right but they HURT the top on my feet so much they left bruises. Even after owning them for 2 years they still hurt.

I wear an 8-8.5 and have a narrow foot. I usually wear Sanita size 39, but when this pair came in the mail, I couldn't get my foot inside! When I finally squirmed in, the shoe was the perfect width but just a little short, and definitely too tight. Overall I'd say this pair is a half size too small, which is a shame because these shoes don't come in half sizes. (I tried them in size 40 but I was totally swimming in them.) I also ordered Dansko size 39, and was swimming in those, too. Meanwhile, Dansko size 38 was too wide, but the right length. As you can see, I'm in a clog conundrum. Is anyone else a size 8.5 and totally unable to find clogs that fit? I'm a seasoned Dansko and Sanita clog wearer but this year nothing works.

I have a pair of Sanita clogs from several years ago and love them but these were very narrow and tight in the same exact size (39). I usually wear a women’s 8 with slightly wide feet but couldn’t even get one of my feet in these. I also didn’t like the black/brown color combo in person. Guess I’m going back to Danskos for my next pair since all I ever really want to wear are clogs.

I wanted to Love these clogs..I have been wearing Dansko for decades...and agree that they are not like the original Dansko of old. Thought Id try these clogs but tried several different sizes to get the right fit ( I usually wear a 38 in dansko) I finally settled on 38 in sanita wide, fit well, but the inseam on bought side where irritating, they are not completely sewed down like the Dansko....so I returned them...ordered another pair of Dansko .

I loved my first pair of Dansko Pro Oil and wore them daily for years. The second pair (now with the made in China stamp) didn't last 6 months before falling apart, and the workmanship was obviously inferior. I tried to switch to Sanita but didn't care for the staple job or finish on the oil. I may give both companies another try and hope for better workmanship - I really need this type of shoe for work and plantar fasciitis problems - but they are too expensive to settle for poor quality.

I am very disappointed in the quality of these shoes over the past few years! I have had these pair for just over a year and wear as a nurse at work 2 days a week. The inside sole is peeling off and all squished up and uncomfortable now. I will bring these home and see if I can rip the inside sole out and replace with some Dr. Scholl inserts bc I cant put on top b/c it makes the insole too high! The pair I had before these the upper toe part broke in half!!! I thought I would give them another try but never buying again. Quality is not there for the price and I shouldnt have to buy a new pair every year only wearing them twice a week!!! Sorely disappointed in the quality these Nursing shoes have become!

I ordered a size up (39 from 38) based on recommendation. Shoes are still at least a full size too small, have no arch support, and are poorly finished inside and thus painful to bare skin. Very disappointed, particularly with the lack of arch support, which is the whole reason for this brand to exist.

I ordered a size 39 and a size 40. The 39 was way too small. And the 40 was way too large. Also I was dissappointed that Zappos would send me a size 39 that was used, because the toe area was scuffed up on both shoes.

I have had a pair of these shoes in this style and size for years. When they wear out I just buy the same ones over again in the same size. This pair though- I HATE them! Even though I purchased the same size I had before they are not the same size shoe. I should have returned them, but I thought I just needed to break them in. The leather is very stiff and unyielding and will not mold to my feet. Now, I cannot return them and I have spent my shoe budget so I cannot afford to get a new size so I am trying to make these shoes work. This really puts me off buying on line if the maker changes up the sizing.

I have worn Sanita size 41 for years. I chose them because they run smaller than Dansko, and they have always fit snugly without being too small. I just ordered four different pairs of Sanita size 41, and found that they have changed their sizing and they are now too BIG. I attempted exchanging for size 40, but that was too small. WHAT A DISAPPOINTMENT! Why do companies choose to do this?! So sad. All are going back, and GOODBYE, SANITA, you were a great friend for a long time, but you've changed. If, as a customer, one is lucky enough to fit Sanita's new sizes, good for you, because they are a terrific, long lasting shoe. So, ZERO stars for maintaining their long-time customer expectations, and 4-stars for quality. But for attention-getting's sake, 1 start for this review.

I love my Sanitas, and I (usually) love this brand.
However, I purchased these shoes in January 2016, and less than a year later (November 2016), I have noticed that the bottoms have begun to split in half, across the width of the shoe. Very disappointing. I have purchased Sanita clogs before (that were made in Poland), had them for multiple years and never had this problem before. I (usually) love this brand, I find the arch support more comfortable than Dansko, they (usually) last me multiple years, and I am able to wear them comfortably for long periods of time (restaurant work). What changed?!! Quality of materials? So sad! I usually love love love these shoes, and this brand.

I feel like Sanita has changed its classic clog design! I have had a zillion pairs of size 39 professional oiled leather and they always fit. Now the 39 is too small and the 40 is too big. Could my feet have changed that much?? Usually my Sanitas are the most comfortable shoes I own, and now I don't know what to do....
