Excellent for work

Very comfortable.

Ordered these in men's hoping the would for better than the women's did for me & the fit is perfect! The women's were a bit tight on my instep, but the same size in men's is great! Excellent for working 10+ hour days!

I have some pesky neuropathy, and have worn crocs for years at home. I'm a luthier, so spend a lot of time on my feet, and wanted something with more rigidity. I also wanted leather rather than some pleather. So, based on very little info, I got these. They fit great, and provide support, and have enough protection that if I drop a piece of wood or a plane and it hits my foot, no problem. I really lie them. It's taken me a while to get used to the high heels, but I think it helps my back. Anyway, I wear them about 14 hours a day, walk a lot, and they feel great. They're obviously very well made in Denmark, and it's fun to have something not made in the pacific rim. I order 45 motorcycle boots, and wear an 11 in us, and these fit great.

Zappos was efficient and courteous in sending and returning item when the buyer made a mistake on the size.

I initially ordered a size too small (46) but regaled in the ease of exchange with Zappos to size 47. They were somewhat tight in the first week but now, literally fit like a glove. I initially thought I would only wear them at work but that didn't last long. They are my "go to" comfort, casual and durable footwear. Dr. Kelly Santa Monica, CA

Normally take a size mens size 11 narrow. Since this shoe is from Europe the sizes are different and different websites have a mens 11 calling for a 44 and others a 45. After trying both and reading that it is normal to have a 1/4" spacing at the heal I would say that I would choose size 45. The 44 fit but it was tight and there was absolutely no wiggle room. I did try the Dansko mens 44 narrow which did fit well but i would rather a European made shoe versus Chinese. Also Dansko was more expensive and quality appears slightly less than the Sanita.

I stand on my feet most of the workday, and these are very comfortable. My feet and legs do not get so tired.

Provides solid, clog-like support shaped to the contours of the foot. Given the limited flexibility of the sole, they are surprisingly comfortable for extended walking. The heel is low enough for hands-free slip-on and slip-off. Style wise, they have a bit more refined appearance than other clogs - there is a thin band of leather piping at the side seams. That said, one does not buy clogs primarily as a style accessory, and so to evaluate a shoe like this on style is like trying to comment on the stylishness of wool sweat socks.

It takes a little while to get used to the platform height. Other than that its great shoe for anyone who is on their feet all day.

First pair was too tight! Ordered size US 11 for my 10 1/2 foot. Called Zappos Customer Service and was surprised they would send out the next larger size (US 12) with next day delivery! Sent the first pair back with pre-paid label by UPS. Great service.

A fantastic clog for the clinician. I've been wearing these around the ER every day for the past several months, and they still look almost brand new. In addition to protection and comfort, they double up as a business casual shoe, so I don't have to bring a second pair if I have to change out of scrubs. They do take some getting used to as they noticeably elevate your center of gravity. The heel support, 12-hour-shift comfort, durability (so far) and professional look make them well worth the money to me.

Nice shoe. I had never worn clogs before and had doubts about their ability to stay on when walking on uneven ground. So far no problems. You do need some time to adapt to them however. They did help with my soreness from standing/working on concrete for 9 hrs/day. Overall they are resisting "breaking in", so I am still undecided about that. The size was true.

How do I know if it fits correctly? Try on your clogs with the same socks as you will be wearing them with on a typical day. Your toes should not be hitting the front, and you should be able to move them comfortably. While standing up give your toe a firm kick and hold it in the position as if to stand on “tip-toe”. You should be able to insert a minimum of a full finger comfortably, not forced between your heel and the back of the clog. A little more space than that is fine. Check the fit on both clogs.

I ordered my normal size and it was too big - my heel barely touched the back of the shoe. So I ordered the next size down and it has the slip that this shoe is intended to have. The arch support is better than any other shoes that I have worn. If you can get past the looks (I work in a really dark bar) I would highly recommend them.

Awesome shoes...I wear a US 13 and have a narrow foot and this is my first pair of clogs. I was told to go one size up so I originally ordered a 47 Narrow in Dansko. They were too small, my toes hit the end. I needed a 48 Narrow and discovered that Sanita carried this size in a 48 Narrow. Needless to say they fit perfect, are very comfortable. The Sanita are well worth the money. I will be buying another pair of the exact same shoe when I need to replace them.

These clogs are well constructed and provide good support, particularly for footwear you slip on. I normally wear shoes that are 10.5-11 and the 45 fit well. (I would not get them any smaller. If you're borderline, I'd go up rather than down a 1/2 size.) It takes just a day or so to break in. The matte finish with the Professional Oil looks good. Happy with these. I wear them at home and the hospital. Will likely get a second pair.

Can't go wrong with Sanita clogs. My previous pair -- worn pretty much every day -- lasted a strong five years. I expect these to do the same! Love the "professional oil" finish, too.

Back for my second pair. Bought the current ones 7 1/2 years ago. Bought these for working on the concrete floor of my shop/barn. Also use them for ranch work when specialty footwear is not required (safety toe, high tops in brush, rubber in mud etc.) They are easy to step-in-step-out when going in the house or office. As another reviewer said, the sole seems very stiff, but somehow it is still very comfortable on concrete floors for hours. After 7 years the uppers are ugly but not worn much. They are still bonded to the soles. The wear is happening on the glue on insoles. I hope the new ones have the same quality. I'm very pleased with these

I was looking more arch support compared to Dansko

I've had 3 pairs of Dansko and 2 pairs of Sanita clogs over the past 10 years. Size 45 always fits like a charm. When I received this pair they were a bit snug on the on the top of my feet. And generally they felt a bit small. After about a month of wear in the office, the tightness on top has improved a bit. However, the width and the toe box still seem really small. I did some research on the Sanita website, and they've replaced the leather insole with a foam one that is not removeable. I thought something felt different. The insole takes up a lot of the room in the clog and is responsible for the tight fit. Honestly I didn't even bother trying a bigger size because the feel was do different. I ended up ordering a size 45 Dansko clog and the fit is the same as it always has. If you order the Sanita clog, go up at least one size, and if it doesn't fit right out of the box send it back.

Shoe feels as if you have a high arch it will be supportive but if your foot is flat could be uncomfortable

We ordered the same shoe in the same size about one year later. The second shoe arrived and was about one size smaller. So obviously the size information for this brand is inconsistent and unreliable. We love the shoe so will try again, but it is a hassle

This show provides great support and shock absorption for people who spend a lot of time on their feet. However, the arch is EXTREMELY high and sharp in shape. I had the feeling that my arch was being punched. DO NOT order these shoes if you have a low-medium arch. Otherwise, they're a great option.
