When I got them, my 15 year old daughter said "nice grandma slippers" and laughed at her own whit! She later tried them on and was amazed at how comfortable they were. I now have to keep going into her room to get them! These are great. I cannot walk barefoot around my house due to my planter faciatitis...t These certainly do the trick. Comfort without pain trumps any fashion statement when I am in my own home.

My second pair of this brand of slippers. Excellent arch support. If you have wood floors, you need these on your feet.

This is my second pair of Orthaheel slippers. I have difficulty with my feet and they seem to like it best to be in slippers or shoes. These always feel good from the moment my feet hit them.

Pros: Orthaheel's "Gemma Mule Slipper" has great arch support for a slipper, which is very hard to find. At first, I wasn't sure I was going to like them because I wasn't used to the feeling of such a supportive footbed. But after a few wearings, it seemed to mold itself to the shape of my foot, and I fell in love with them. Now they feel like they were custom-made for me. Also, I also like the fact that it has an open back and a little opening on the side, so it breathes, but the upper part (the vamp) is deep enough that it helps keep the slipper on your foot without sliding around too much. Soft velour outer and very soft (maybe too soft*) terrycloth footbed. I like the fact that it comes in black, so my size-11 feet look smaller. And that's another thing. It's great that they come in a size 11. (Thank you, Orthaheel, for that, and please make ALL your shoes in size 11!) Very comfortable, so I kick off my shoes and put these on the minute I get home. CONS: After wearing them daily for 18 months, I had to buy a second pair because the bottom cloth on the footbed wore out in the toe area. *So I do wish that Orthaheel would use a more durable fabric on the footbed because they are a little pricey for a slipper (but worth it), and I don't want to have to keep replacing them, especially since they sometimes run out of black in size 11, and the other color options are a bit too loud for me. (In fact, I would also suggest that Orthaheel should offer ALL their shoes in black. I would buy many more, but sometimes they are too colorful and don't go with everything.) Otherwise, these are my favorite slippers of all time. Highly recommended. I hope Orthaheel never stops making them, and please keep making them in a size 11!

This was my first Orthaheel purchase, and I am very pleased. I have problems with plantar fasciitis, and these slippers provide great support. They could be a little more stylish, but I'm willing to overlook that for the comfort. Would definitely suggest this for others with similar arch and heel pain. I normally wear size 8 1/2 and purchased size 9 which fit great.

Most comfortable shoes I've ever owned! I have a bad knee, bad back, and plantar fasciitis...these shoes I can wear all day! If I could get away with it...they would be the only shoes I would wear!

I have plantar fasciitis and it can be very painful to walk, particularly first thing in the morning. These slippers are wonderful and greatly help to reduce the pain. I've had my pair for about 2 months and they are holding up well as I wear them before leaving for work and first thing when I get home. I've washed them in the washing machine with good results. I will never be able to wear department store slippers again. I only wish they had more stylish colors rather than the plain black and unbecoming prints.

These are fantastic -- I use them as my "indoor" shoes/slippers daily and never think about my feet! Very well made/constructed and easily spot-cleanable. I used others' reviews to choose a size for myself (USA 9-1/2 medium), so I ordered half size down.

This is the only pair of slippers that I would slip into when I am home. I have bad plantar fasciitis and this is the only thing I can wear to relieve pain walking around the house. You might need a day or so to get use to the high arch but I can tell the difference when I have these on and when I do not from the relief I get when my heels are throbbing. These are my first Orthoheels and I will be trying out a couple pairs of Orthoheel sandals to wear out and about.

I found the slippers waiting on my front porch when I came home for lunch, this afternoon. After trying them on, it was very difficult to convince myself that I needed to put my shoes back on to return to work and finish out my day. These slippers are probably the most comfortable pair of footwear I have ever had on my feet. In addition to that, they are well constructed and pretty darn cute. For the skeptics out there, let me tell you this... I'm recovering from foot surgery and even my Birkenstocks are hurting, right now. Tennies are nearly an impossibility. I also have plantar fasciitis. When I put these slippers on, all the pain diminishes almost instantaneously. Now, if only I could get away with wearing them everywhere I go, I'd be a happy camper.

These slippers are great. This is my second pair. I needed to order a smaller size. They are very comfortable. I have trouble finding any footwear that feels good because of various foot problems, but these are the best I have found.

I ordered my Gemma slippers in the color shown. My husband said they looked like Ladybugs, so they have been dubbed my ladybug slippers! I thought that they were a bit pricey, but I have terrible pronation, figure that if these worked, it was worth the price! Well, they do work, there was a short adjustment period, but I love them, and will probably get another pair. Wish they had more of a selection, in slippers and regular type shoes (not sandals)!

These slippers feel great! They may not look too stylish but the comfort factor makes the trade-off worth it. In addition, the slippers are well made.

This are the best slippers. I have back pain & hip pain. I did not have to have any break in time at all. I receive them and wore them right out of the box.

My podiatrist recommended orthotic slippers for my heel spur which is also known as plantar fasciatis. These slippers are great. I need to wear a wedge all the time. I think I am going to order the open ones now for the summer. these are a little too warm for the summer.

I was looking for a slipper with superior arch support after recently seeing a podiatrist for a bone spur and learning that my arches drop when I stand. These are exactly what I was looking for! Attractive, warm, around the house slippers with incredible arch support! They are adjustable and worth every penny. When these wear out I will buy another pair. I normally wear a women's 8.5 but after reading other reviews, I went with the size 8 and they are perfect.

I am thrilled with these shoes. Although they are not beautiful, they are so comfortable. I wear them every day. I wear 8.5 to 9 and the 9 fits great. Probably good for people with wide feet.

Love, love, love, love, love. These are bliss on my feet. If I wear them at home at all times, I can feel them reshaping and aligning my feet, and I can therefore get by with wearing "bad" shoes during the day. I feel like Minnie Mouse in these, but I can get over that because they feel so good (and I would rather wear ugly shoes at home than in public). They do get a little sweaty, so socks are best (but can make them look more ridiculous depending on what pants you're wearing. I love these.

I ordered these slippers because I need constant arch support. They are wonderful! I get out of bed and put them on immediately. My plantar fasciitis has calmed down tremendously from doing things like wearing good support in all my shoes and even slippers. I would recommend them to anyone. They are so comfy!

Cute and comfy. They are a heavier than the average slipper, but it is worth it for the excellent arch support and cushion in the sole.

Love these super comfortable slippers! The arch support is fantastic. I especially love that they are cruelty-free, made without wool.
