I love these. I am on my feet a lot during the day so I need slippers with support. These are cute and really comfortable. Some reviewers reported that the instep was too high for them and I can understand why - it is high. But for me, it is perfect and gives me great support. I will buy another pair for sure.

These won! I ordered these and a pair of Giesswein at the same time because both brands have great ratings. It actually took me 2 months but I finally decided that these were significantly more comfortable. I don't have plantar fasciitis but the arch support makes it so comfortable. At first these seem too heavy as the Giessweins were so much lighter but after wearing both for 2 months - you don't notice the weight anymore and these make the soles of you feet feel good! Highly recommended and it won in a head to head go with Giesswein slippers.

Very happy with this slipper. I have high arches and need a shoe for down time around the house without my orthotics. This slipper is a lifesaver! Good arch support and comfort. Orthaheel was recommended by my podiatrist for times that I just can't wear my orthotics 24/7 Excellent quality.

Fit is exact and the adjustable velcro closure is perfect if you want to also wear a light pair of socks. I wear orthotics and find the arch support almost exactly the same - so wonderful to have something casual for around the house, without wearing shoes with orthotics in them. Highly recommend!

I ordered these slippers for two reasons. First, they offered good arch support for those days when I get to stay in the house all day long. Secondly, the offered a good sole that could withstand those forays out into the somewhat wet outdoors for a quick trip to the bird feeder, etc. They met my expectations and I was pleasantly surprised by the Velcro adjustment for the instep. A nice factor for personal comfort.

I like to have arch support at all times, so these are great for me. I have liked every pair of Vionic shoes that I have bought so far.

I love these slippers! I have bought several Orthoheel shoes and noticed when they went to the Vionic style they made the medium width too narrow and my toes would hang over the front in sandals and their closed in shoes don't have a very round toe box but these slippers seem much more true to size, no cramped toes and great arch support.

Since I was very happy with the Vionic inserts I bought for my shoes, I wanted the same support in slippers to wear at home. Even though I usually wear a wide or extra wide, these slippers fit well.

These slippers are great if you have problem arches or heel pain. I've been purchasing these slippers for the last 3 years and haven't had a problem with this style slipper.

These are absolutely the most comfortable slippers that I have ever owned. I have several more pairs of Vionic slippers but these are my favorite. Because of my flat feet and heel problems I cannot wear any other shoes but the Vionic Orthoheel shoes. I wish that these slippers came in more colors.

I ordered the black Gemma Mule Slipper on a Saturday night and received them Monday morning! What great service from Zappos. I'm very pleased with my slippers. I was familiar with the fact that the Vionic/Orthaheel footwear runs large, so I followed the fit tips and ordered a size 8. I normally wear a size 8-1/2 to 9 in other brands, depending on the style. I bought these because I have developed achilles tendonitis and needed something to wear around the house that would give me plenty of arch support. These slippers really make a huge difference in my pain level. They're not beautiful and the footbed is not soft and cushy; but the support is incredible. They look really wide but inside they fit my foot beautifully. They're easy to just slip on and I can even wear them outside if I wish. They're well worth the money, in my opinion and my feet will be well-supported and warm this winter. Many thanks to Vionic and Zappos!

Love these slippers. Will get some for all my family members for the holidays. I just wished the liner was removable so that it could be washed.

If you aren't familiar with Orthaheel, these are great products with foot issues. My Mom and sister have plantar fasciitis and swear by them. But I have Mortons Neuroma and they really do help me. These are cushiony and soft with great support. They have a shoe sole, so don't expect a light, slippery slipper. They are heavy. But my house is all tile, and it's taken a toll on my feet. These are lifesavers. They just take a little getting used to if you have never felt how they work. Great product! You won't be sorry. A pair of flip flops are next on my list, just wish they weren't so darn expensive.

I initially bought a pair of these slippers as a gift for my mother who has chronic knee pain and trouble walking due to a knee injury she sustained some years ago. she often has trouble finding shoes that offer her proper arch support and offer comfort. I decided to buy each of us a pair to see if they work. I am so happy I bought these slippers for the both of us. Now we can throw out all of our other pairs of slippers as they just don't measure up to these Vionic Orthaheel slippers. These slippers are strong and are worth the price. They are sturdy and have great support and traction. They feel more like a shoe versus a slipper. My mom loves them!

I've used an orthotic insert in my shoes and house slippers for years (pronation, high arches, plantar fasciitis). Looking through the Vionic shoes on Zappos, I came across the Gemma slippers and decided to give them a try. Love them! It's so nice to not have to constantly reposition my inserts in my old slippers because the orthotic is built into the Gemma. The material is nice - soft and fluffy and exactly what you want in a slipper. The arch support is perfect for me - no pronation whatsoever with these slippers. The sizing is just right for me - in Vionic sandals, I wear a 7 but my usual shoe size is a 6. I ordered a 6 in these and it's just right. I also have wide feet, but these slippers fit just right - not too narrow. They also have an adjustable velcro flap on the sides, so you could adjust the width if necessary. The only possible negative is that I didn't expect the heel to be as high as it is - it's higher than any traditional slipper I've ever worn, but maybe that height is necessary for the orthotic construction - I don't know. I don't think the height will be a problem, it's just a matter of me becoming accustomed to it. Overall, very pleased with this purchase and highly recommend anyone who has orthotic problems to give these a try!

I'm really enjoying these slippers. I have super-flat feet with ankle, knee, and lower back pain if I don't wear excellent arch support. I don't have wide feet, bought them a half size smaller, tightened the velcro and wear them pretty much daily. Corny as it sounds, I really can get more chores done without pain when I wear these around the house. They feel so great on my feet that I have forgotten they were on and got in my vehicle to run errands (oops). They did require a couple of days wear to break in and conform to my foot and stride. My one and only issue is that they make my toes really warm. This something I will appreciate in the winter as my feet are often quite cold and I hate wearing socks. My remedy for the meantime will be to get an open toed pair.

These are not your mother's slippers! That being said, I really like them. They support my feet like a good orthotic. Felt too stiff the first day, but they get softer and more flexible as I wear them...they are very warm and will be great for winter. For me, these are keepers.

Amazing slippers. Well worth the money. I have plantar fasciitis and when I wear these I don't feel any pain. I've already walked out of the house 4 times forgetting I had them on due to comfort and no foot pain. Wish I could wear them to work. First things I slip on in the morning and last things off when heading to bed.

There aren't any of the Vionic footwear that is not comfortable, but these are fabulous. So comfortable and if you suffer from plantar fascitis since they have a built in arch support will find them very comfortable. Fit my feet perfectly.

Cute and very comfortable. Glad I got these for wearing around the house. Especially nice for when I'm in the kitchen cooking and standing on the hard kitchen floor.

This is my third pair of terry mules. They are so comfortable and cozy. I purchased my first pair several years ago when I was diagnosed with plantar fasciitis. Orthaheel was recommended by my podiatrist. My plantar fasciitis cleared up quickly and never came back. I attribute that to wearing the slippers and not going barefoot around the house (wood floors) along with wearing Orthaheel sandals.

I had a somewhat mild case of plantar fasciitis that, even mild, was constantly nagging at me. I have wood and stone floors throughout my entire house and it was really uncomfortable to walk around barefoot. I found these slippers and decided to try them ot based on the reviews. I was not disappointed! Wearing these and faithfully doing the stretching exercises helped get rid of my plantar fasciitis really quickly. I could tell a big difference if I tried to go barefoot again before I was fully healed. Slippers on-no pain, no slippers on-pain again. Now my plantar fasciitis is gone but I still love wearing these slippers sound the house because they're so comfortable. I wear a size 9 and they were true to size for me.

I have chronic peroneal tendonitis, which means I can never go barefoot or wear flats. It is nearly impossible to find warm slippers with a bit of a heel. Thankfully I found these -- and they even have arch support! I wish they made these in a full or bootie style, rather than just a mule, but I'll take what I can get at this point. The other slippers in this brand are flats. It took about four hours of wearing them to get used to the arch, but I'm used to wearing orthotics already so I probably had a head start there. At first the arch felt too hard, but after the first day they feel great! And so far they're warm enough. Since they're adjustable, I'll be able to wear socks with them come winter. I normally wear a 9.5D in sneakers, and the 9 in this style fits great. Very happy!
