I'm very happy with the purchase. My feet have been aching and I needed additional support around the house. I wanted to try something new and after reading the reviews, I decided to try these slippers. I was pleasantly surprised! They are a bit clunky, but they have great arch support and are warm. I am usually a 7.5 or 8, and ordered these in the 8... they fit perfectly and I'm able to wear socks with them.

As others have noted, the fabric is a bit slippery. They are very supportive and can be tightened a bit.

My podiatrist said I have to wear shoes with insoles all day, but since I don't like wearing shoes in the house, I bought these slippers with arch support built in. They're great! They loosened up rather quickly, but there is a velcro strap to tighten it back in so my feet don't slide back and forth.

These slippers are great if you have bone spurs or plantar fasciitis. They are pretty firm at first but once you break them in they are more comfortable then the custom orthodics my doctor gave me for my shoes. I wish I could wear them to work! They do hold odor though and are not machine washable.

Needed supportive slipper due to reoccurring arch issues. Sort of "grandma-ish" but do the trick. That's why I chose the leopard and had to try to spice them up! These have really worked well in keeping my feet in better shape instead of going barefoot after work as I love to do. Great support especially with the Velcro strap to tighten down for a more narrow foot.

Fairly comfortable if you require decent arch support, but the foot bed does not seem to have as much support as the Orthaheel sandals.

These slippers are warm, comfortable and roomy with the same great support you always get from Orthaheel. But it does come with a little downside. The slippers are a little slippery and you must be a little more careful not to get off balance due to the soft fabric. There is no strap to keep them snug to your foot and you wouldn't want that anyway. I still love them!

These slippers feel a bit wide and insecure at the arch/instep/heel on my foot. I have a low arch and a low instep, so that may be part of my issue, however some other reviewers noted the same problem. I tried a smaller size, but it felt too short. The Velcro allows for a little bit of adjustment, so I was able to make them work. Perhaps these would fit well on a wider foot with a high instep. The tops look a bit like wearing pillows, but they do have excellent arch support, which helps avoid plantar fascitis flareups.

Besides the look and comfort the slipper is not ideal. The sole is heavy and it's actually quite hard to keep on my little feet. I ordered a size 6 and my mother who is a size 8 was able to wear them comfortably. I have sandals in a size 6 and they are great.

I really wanted to like these slippers but I found myself becoming unstable on them. I've lost my balance several times while wearing them and I'm too old to take a chance on falling. I'll keep looking for shoes more stable than these.

This slipper had great arch support and fit well. The main issue was that the edge of the top was very stiff - and hurt the top of my foot. I tried it adjusted a few ways - but it always bothered me. I have a high instep - so it might not be an issue for other people.

Fit and size were right on. Unfortunately, the material (cut pile) is too "slick" which causes my foot to slide inside the slipper. Not good for a 73-yr-old so I am returning them for a different style. Thanks to Zappos for being so helpful with the replacement!

I wear and 8 1/2 shoe--ordered the 9 first, but it was too large. I reordered it in an 8 which fit my foot much better, BUT my foot still moved after adjusting the tab to the lowest setting. My foot trends wide, with a high instep. It was still too roomy. Unfortunately this is going back. Thank you, Zappos for your shipping/return policy.

The slippers are good, not great. The description hinted they’d be perfect for those with planter fasciitis. They are good enough to fit my needs, but not as much support as needed, and worse, not enough cushioning to use while making dinner. They will be just fine for early morning use. They will not likely last long because I cannot wash them—which makes them a very poor choice for the environment. I would return them, but that incurs its own ecological issue. They did however arrive promptly, which is very nice given how much pain I am in. :-)

Although these are warm and comfortable, I have experienced back pain as a result of wearing them. I had read in reviews there's an adjustment period, but in my case, it didn't change with wear. This adjustment period makes the slippers not returnable because of wear. I am used to orthotics in shoes so I had hoped these would be a good choice.

Very comfortable and supportive for my wide, unhappy feet, but for the price I’m not happy with how much they’ve worn out in ten months. I don’t love the idea of spending this much on a new pair of slippers every year.

Appreciate that part of the benefit of these slippers is the Vionic support, but these feel more like walking on a concrete slab than walking in slippers. They are fine, but probably would not invest this much for slippers that feel like this. Should really WANT to put on slippers that cost this much.

The sole has no give, so they don't bend and as a result, one kind of clomps around wearing them. But they're easy to get on and off and cozy on the inside.

These run large, very large. Vionic is very inconsistent with sizing from style to style, year to year. :-(

I usually wear a 10W; I ordered a 10M. It was plenty wide but not too wide. The issue I have is the slipper is a 1/2 size too long, but 1/2 sizes aren't available. If I don't have the velcro tightened all the way, they will slip off my feet. A 9 would have my toes jammed up at the very top. I love the style and there is plenty of arch support. I kept them because I've been looking for so long for slippers that I felt these were the best I was going to find.

I really wanted these slippers to work. I kept trying to wear them for a short time every day for a couple weeks, but they never were comfortable. They made both my feet and my knees hurt just standing for a short time or walking from room to room on my hardwood floors. I’m still looking for supportive slippers that feel good and don’t make my feet cramp or my knees ache. With all the great reviews and recommendations, I really thought these slippers would be the ones that would make happy feet. Sigh. Just didn’t work for me.

Based on other reviews I decided to size down. Good call because they fit perfectly. There is one velcro adjustment on the side of the slipper for wider/narrower feet. The arch support and stiff sole do take awhile to get used to. At first I didn't like wearing them after a few hours because they seemed to take more effort walking in them. I don't know how long it took but eventually that problem went away and they are the slippers that I always reach for when my legs or feet hurt because I know they're going to help. The main problem I have is that after a few washes the skin on the inside is coming off. I think they should've lasted a lot longer. They're not even a year old but because of the lining I already need a new pair and I am debating about trying another brand. I'm going to do more research to see if this is a common problem for this brand before deciding.
