My feet are short, wide and have flat arches.
Uncomfortable! NOT RECOMMENDED!
This is my second pair of Vionic slippers. Overall, I find these slippers to be too wide and uncomfortably hard. Despite my wide feet, it is impossible to adjust the hook & loop enough to stay on without irritating my foot. The foot bed of the shoe is supportive, but hard and unforgiving. Without socks my feet flop around making my footing unstable and dangerous. I wish I had returned them!

These slippers fit very wide and fall off your feet when you are walking. I love this brand and have several pairs, so I am not sure why these fit so poorly

These are wonderful slipper except for one thing: the lining came loose from the toe area of the right slipper after less than a month of wear. You know how it is to walk with something wrenched bunched up under your toes and how icky that feels? I did not have that problem with the open toed Vionic Relax Slippers I purchased in the past so I exchanged the defective Gemma Mule for the Relax Slipper model. I suspect that the closed toe area of the Gemma somehow prevents the toe bed lining from wrapping and gluing around the edge so that it stays put. Thank you Zappos for your wonderful customer service in resolving this issue! Shout out to CSR Brittany!

So sad that they have ruined this shoe! It is not at all like the previous version they made in this house shoe, which fit perfectly.
To get the new one to fit you must adjust the tab and when you do it applies so much pressure to the outside edge of your foot that it hurts more than just wearing cheap house shoes.
I hope they read this and redesign next year!

I have had these slippers for only a few days and the lining on the left slipper has peeled apart from the end of the toes towards the ball of the foot. Unfortunately, I threw away the box after trying them on and they fit.

OMG, these slippers are so-o-o painful to wear! My feet overpronate (roll inward), a condition misdiagnosed since my first pair of "corrective" shoes about 65 years ago. I expected these to be quite firm, with strong arch support. I did NOT expect to be walking on concrete insoles! There is NO padding inside these. After walking around the house a short time, my feet had bruises on my arches. No kidding. I would have given zero for comfort if that were an option. Needless to say, these were returned.

I had to send these back. Although I wear a 9 in another vionic shoe, these were too large. They were also very heavy.

I bought these back at the end of August, and my big toe came through the top of them today. After only about 4 months I'm not impressed. They were big, clunky and ugly, so I'm not sorry to see them go. Pretty expensive slippers though, and they turned out to be junk.

So uncomfortable that I cannot wear them. After a day or two of wearing, they stretched out so much that my foot would slide off the slipper and I twist my ankle. I bought them because I have arthritis and have a lot of foot/ankle pain. These only made it worse and made them dangerous for me to wear. I am returning them.

I bought these in black and I adore them. They helped my Plantar Fasciitis heal because they have arch support. I bought another pair in this color and it fits totally different than the black one. It makes my feet feel like they are sliding inward. I hate them and wish I could return them.

I bought the slippers because I have severe plantar fasciitis and I thought they would help as they seem to have helped others. I've had them for well over a year now and I wear them almost every day as I work from home. I only wear them because I don't have another house shoe, I get so tired of sneakers all the time, and these are so convenient to slip into. For me, they hurt! They dig right in to the sensitive area of my foot. On days when my foot pain is less severe, they are tolerable, and, like I said, they are convenient. I'm online now shopping for a slipper with a removable insole so that I can slip superfeet inserts under it. Superfeet are the best. I've tried several orthaheel and they all hurt. I gave away the first 2 pairs I bought because they hurt. Then, after learning how important a break in period was with superfeet, I thought I'd give Orthaheel another shot and ordered these slippers and a pair of dress shoes. As noted, I wear the slippers all the time for convenience, but the dress shoes only once as they were intolerable and hurt the same as the slippers. I will now give up on Orthaheel and not try again. The best solution for me seems to be to buy regular shoes in a size big enough to fit in superfeet inserts.

I ordered a size down from my usual size. These slippers were still HUGE in both width and length. I could not even make them fit better using the Velcro adjustment. I will have to continue my search for slippers for my plantar fasciitis.

Bought this slipper in a size 6, I wear a 7. The size was good. Unfortunately the foot bed was like walking on a rock. I like arch support in my shoes and slippers but these were horrible. Arch support can be cushy and comfy but these were so hard I was getting sore in my arches. Also the way the top angles over the foot it was cutting into the top of my foot. I have been looking for good slippers with the support and had hoped Orthaheels would do it, but no such luck. Maybe my feet are more sensitive than most but I don't know how anyone can find these comfortable.

A great foot bed, but so many dumb choices on the upper just ruined it. The instep cuts back toward the heel on an angle and with each step it cuts into my foot. Even with socks I could feel it. Also, the upper is so large that even with adjusting the velcro it slides about. They are going back!

I purchased these slippers after buying the Tide Flip Flop from Orthaheel. I love the arch support in the Tide but these slippers have absolutely no support at all.
If you just want a pair of cozy slippers, you can purchase those anywhere, at a less expensive price.
If you need arch support, this slipper does NOT have it.

I bought these based on reviews. I have concrete floors in my house, and I wear orthotics. These house shoes were great until after about 1.5 months in they started to pile on the foot bed and left shoe liner is coming out. The padded bed is wearing down. I'm 5'10" at 160, and not hard on shoes at all. They only get worn at night after I'm home from work. Very expensive for this to happen. They will be trashed in less than 6 months.

Buyer beware! Initially I was thrilled to receive my Orthaheel Gemma Mule Slippers, but my happiness soon turned to disappointment. My feet just cook in these slippers and unfortunately it turns out that this wasn't a good thing. I have never ever had an issue with smelly feet, but these slippers make my feet sweaty and odorous, so I can no longer wear them. They are very comfortable, but the fact that they are not breathable outweighs the comfort factor. I called Zappos asking if I could put them into my washing machine and the agent wasn't sure. He gave me the phone number to Orthaheel. The Orthaheel agent spoke with a bit of an accent which she seemed to have trouble understanding me and she was also very rude. She told me that the slippers are not washable and I could instead use an antibiotic wipe. I really doubt that would help. It's a shame that the slippers do not offer any ventilation and now I am stuck with a pair of expensive smelly slippers that I only got to enjoy wearing for one week!

Sizing is much too long and overwide. Fabric looks cheap and has a very plastic odor like a new rug.
Returning these slipper.

Very uncomfortable - arch is much too hard and high. It almost forces one to lean back on heels similar to an "earth shoe". Disappointed as I had read such wonderful reviews.

At first, I loved this slipper...it's very comfortable...but only after wearing this slipper for a couple of months, the insoles began to separate. So I returned them & received a second pair only to have it happen immediately after a few weeks of wear. I'm extremely disappointed because they have great support for my feet.

I bought these slippers and had to return them. They are way too big, even if I use the velcro tabs on the sides to tighten them up. The arch support is very hard and hurts my feet walking in them. I have plantar fasciitis and after reading all the reviews, I decided to order these. I sure was wanting them to work out for me. It's hard to find anything that gives my feet comfort. These sure didn't and so large on that I couldn't keep them on my feet.

I bought these slippers because I needed a 1 1/2 inch heel. It is closer to 1 inch. I do not feel much support. I wear an orthotic during the day. Perhaps that is why I can't wear them. I think I will look for a clog or mule type shoe to use as a slipper. These I will have to return.

I have had this brand slipper before and I loved it. This time, however, has not been so successful. I ordered 2 pair (and am stuck with one because I was so confident in the brand that I threw the box away) and both are defective. The right feet are not constructed properly. It may be just this pattern or all of them. I have no way of knowing. I would advise against ordering these in size 9!

I loved the Orthaheel sandals and wore them all summer. I was so thrilled to find these slippers for the winter and promptly ordered a pair. Sadly, after only a few weeks of wearing them, the inside of both have completely come apart and now it's all bunched up, loose fabric inside the slipper making them feel awkward and uncomfortable. The inside is such a great idea, but with this slipper, it's very poorly executed. They need to go back to the drawing board and figure that out! If I'd had them for a year -- or even 6 months, I'd feel better about it. But to have a pair of slippers fall apart within a few weeks? So disappointing.
