The dress is super soft and the color grey I purchased is easy to wear with anything. I'm 5'6" and can wear flats with it without the dress dragging on the floor. I use the tie that you use to tie around you as an extra support. I wrap it around tight. I have a 34C chest and bought a small but the dress doesn't come in an XS so I'll just keep S. Either way I still love this dress.

The fit is much bigger than the size. I am normally a large (a small-large, but still a large) and I had to order a small.

Loved the style, but I'm 5'1 and the small was huge. way too long, and this dress is alot heavier than it looks.

This is a really cute dress, it would look great on most body types. I am 5'7", 150 pounds. The medium fit great. I plan on wearing it for a picnic wedding this coming summer. I cannot wait to wear it as it makes me feel really pretty.

This is an amazing dress. I wear it with denim jacket which looks adorable. I got lots of compliments on it when I first wore it. It fits great and is super flattering. I am 5'5", 135-140 pounds, 34D-34DD. I got a medium, which fits great.

This is a beautiful dress that is perfect post maternity and great for nursing even though that was not the purpose. I wore the dress five weeks after I delivered a baby.

A little confused as to who these "average height" people are who found this dress short? Are you kidding me? I'm a NON average 5'8 and this dress was plenty long, so much so that I wore pretty substantial wedges with it and it looked AMAZING! Got it in the gold color that's no longer available but am about to purchase the grey on 6pm.com because its on sale for less. I honestly wouldn't pay more than that though not because its not cute...because it is very cute...but because like another reviewer said, its a casual cotton maxi, so its not like an "event" maxi and spending a lot on a maxi is a tad absurd. Oh it fits true to size, im a med and the med fit great! If your size is out of stock and you're not particularly huge then getting a smaller size wont kill ya.

Believe it or not, this is my first maxi dress. I love it! I mainly bought it because I liked that I could machine wash it and I could wear it as a halter dress. Most other maxi dresses I found need to be dry cleaned and/or are only strapless. I wore my dress to the theater one summer night, so I can't say whether it is see-through or not. A woman collecting tickets complimented me on the dress. It's super comfortable to wear and I got it in the jade color. I think it has a tinge more green in it than the photo shows. Very happy with my purchase!

I love this dress! It's so comfy and lightweight. I also have to comment on how easy the return process was! I ordered another dress along with this one and ended up needing to return it. The process was easy and the customer service rep that I spoke to was friendly and engaging. I will definitely be ordering from Zappos again.

I absolutely loved this dress! We had a casual beach vow renewal ceremony and I ordered this dress in ivory. It was perfect! I wear a 36dd and ordered a size lg. I am 5' tall and had to have it hemmed to be the right length. The material was very comfy! Got tons if compliments on it! I could have probably gotten away with a Medium. But I loved the flowiness and was worried a smaller size may not be as flowey.

I like it. I'm 5'3 and the length was perfect with espadrilles. I can definitely see how it'd be too short for taller girls. I have a very large bust and I was still able to pull this off in a medium with a good strapless bra. Great buy (I chose navy)! More than the dress I loved Zappos' overnight delivery. I got it just in time for my July 4th vacation.

Love it. I'm 5'7" 36-D, and not a skinny gal. The dress fits perfectly (I was half expecting this dress to disappoint me with junior sizing, but again, it's perfect).

This is a very cute dress that fits perfectly. It is made from t-shirt material cotton. It seems to stay up, but I am not sure that it is beach-wedding-guest worthy or worth the money to keep it, so it is going back.

I love the style of this dress but the color is what was disappointing. If you're looking for a true white dress, this is not what you want. A more apt description would be 'Ivory'.

I'm so obsessed with this dress. I weigh 125lbs and am 5'1. I've had this dress in beige and orange. The orange is like a burnt orange. If the dress was a little less pricey, I would honestly get it in all colors. It can be dressed up or down. It is so comfy, I just slip it on. I wore it last night for my birthday with heels and the next day for work in flip flops. I can honestly wear it every day.

I love this dress. I am 5'4" and it fits my length. The bodice is beautiful and fits my ample bossom without making my breast look huge which is generally and issue with textured tops. Fabric is soft and comfy. Can either dress it up or down. My only complaint is that I wish it didn't have a tie for the waist. I will take it to my tailor to have it removed. Runs a little big. I bought the grey dress which is just a little lighter than the picture.

I am 5'1" (34D) and bought this dress in the Coral, size Small for our upcoming summer vacation in Los Cabos. The dress fits my petite frame perfectly and the length is perfect to wear with 2 or 3" heels/wedges. The dress has a jersey type of material and is very soft and comfortable. What I like about this dress is that you can wear it strapless or thread the straps through the middle of the bodice to tie around your neck. If you are less than 5'2" in height, the dress will be need to shorten it if you want to wear flats with it. Perfect summer dress that you can dress up or down depending on your mood. Highly recommend!

I am so happy I purchased this dress! I'm always a little cautious when purchasing strapless items, as I'm a fairly busty gal, but I love the style and noticed that this could also be worn as a halter so I decided to give it a try. Turns out that it stays up on its own just fine, even without the halter strap (though I have worn it both ways). It is a little shorter than some other maxis I've purchased in the past, but still falls to the ground when I'm in flats. Very soft, comfortable, and falls in a wonderfully flattering way. I got the navy color and it looks great against my fair skin. I'm thinking of buying another color! Size reference: I'm 5'4" 135lbs and ordered a Medium... fits great.

I am a size 14 and ordered the Large. It is beautiful and very flattering. Goes in at the waist just perfect and holds my chest with support. I can't wait to wear this in Florida.

I ordered this dress in orange, small. I was unsure about the small because I have gained weight (I am5'2",130 lbs). The small fits perfectly! It is soft and comfy and beautiful! I can't wait to wear it to a destination wedding in Costa Rica! The orange is sort of Burnt Orange.

I really like this dress so much, that last summer I bought it in red, and this summer I got the black. The fabric is a nice weight jersey, and hangs very smoothly. Doesn't wrinkle, so it's great to pack for vacation. The stays and gathering at the bust line do great things for this area. I'm 5'6 and the length is perfect with a flat sandal. The tie back is cute and brings your waist in just a bit. Big plus - it's so comfortable.

Stunning. I ordered this online, then saw a very similar version in a large department store for under $20. I tried on that dress, then went home where my new Type Z Liliana dress was on the front porch, delivered. I tried the new dress on. No comparison. The Type Z quality was superb. Teh fit is great and it did not make me look "hippy" (large hips) like the cheaper one did. I do not have large hips either. I am ordering another color today.

Have this dress in Black and Navy and could probably own it in EVERY color if I could get away with it! Looks great tied around the neck or bowed in front with a little jacket over it as well.
