Not a bad fitting shoe. It has a good arch support that is very comfortable. The foot bed, however, is rough and takes a little getting used to.

Love 'em! Very comfortable, wonderful support, and good looking. Taking others comments, I ordered one size smaller than my usual and they're fine. However, the option for half sizes would be even better. One small complaint: the instep strap is so long that I had to cut off a piece so as not to step on it or drag it in the dirt. I would be really really happy if Orthaheel offered a sturdy supportive River Sandal for use canoeing, kayaking, and on the beach.

These are really comfortable, supportive, and cute. My only reservation is I usually wear an 8.5. I ordered 8, and they're just right in the toes, but just barely a titch too short. I can't decide if I can make it work or not. I'm confident a 9 would be too loose in the toes (as the Tides are for me). I wish they had half sizes or narrow options to account for this a bit. Beyond that, I love the idea and feel of these, and they completely support my poor plantar's fascia that gets angry in bad shoes or barefoot! The only other thing is my heel feels a little lower than it does in other Orthaheel shoes. I'm not sure I like that yet. And the toe strap. I think it's okay but I would want to walk more to make sure it won't rub. I do appreciate the extra support at the front of the foot, since the lack thereof is what's unworkable about the regular Orthaheel flip-flops for me (they're too wide and my feet slide around in those). I need to wear them around the house more to make sure they're a go for my particular feet, but overall I think they're fabulous!

I have difficult feet with very high arches and arthritis. Finding shoes that are attractive and comfortable is almost impossible. But these sandals are fantastic. I now have two pairs and will buy a third. They are definitely casual, but cute. I've had compliments on the style. I like the more subtle colors and wish there were more subtle color choices.

Overall a great sandal for pronation issues. I have boughten these before. The strings take a little breaking in and stretching. Super cushion and comfort for all mobility. Broke both bones in ankle and stretched the top ligament. So ankle does stuff unfortunately inward which effects the back and legs. Bank on these.

I'm a triathlete recovering from peroneal tendonitis and bursitis in my hip. My physical therapist recommended that I get a sandal that had a high arch and a heel cup. I ordered these, and have been thrilled with them. The straps are leather on the top, and have a kind of cushioning on the inside. I wore Birkenstocks for years, and hated the break-in period for all-leather straps. This pair had no break-in period as far as I'm concerned. The cushioning takes the rough off of the leather. It took a little bit to get the strap tension just right, but now that I have gotten it adjusted, I can walk around in these without the flapping sound that comes from flip-flops or looser sandals. They stay on my foot very well. The footbed is super comfortable, although it took about 1/2 day for my feet to get used to the texture of the footbed. It never hurt, just felt weird for a while. This could also be partially because my arches are so high, and that part of my foot isn't used to making contact with a shoe. The firmness of the footbed is similar to that of a Teva, so it has some give, but with much better arch support and a deeper heel cup. I really like the way that these look on my feet. They don't look like the kind of shoe that one would expect a physical therapist to recommend. Although I'm a pretty casual person, I can imagine wearing these to most of the things that I'll be going to this summer, including at least one wedding. They're also going in my post-race bag, for when I take off my running shoes. Between the comfort and the cute, these are my go-to shoes for this summer.

I live in these sandals. I love them. For all the women who are having trouble with the strap dragging the floor, Before you Velcro it, twist it a few times. Then Velcro it. With the stripes on the strap, it gives a braided look and works great!

I LOVE these sandals in grey/berry!!! I don't have overly narrow feet but these have an adjustable strap at the arch and I have to tighten it to the point where it drags a little on the ground. I wish I could trip it but I'm afraid it will look bad. That being said, I really love how comfortable they are and how well they stay on my foot. Sometimes a sandal with no back strap will cause me foot fatigue but these do not. They feel very secure. GREAT support without over extending my arch. Length is true. Sometimes a formed foot bed will bother me at the back of the heel. These feel just fine. While not "cushy" they absorb shock really well and my feet are not at all sore after wearing them all day! And to top it all off, they are SO CUTE! I love them and might even get another pair in chocolate/teal. Wish they had a some without the highly contrasting color. Maybe grey/black or two tone khaki.

I take an 8 to 8 1/2 (mostly 8 1/2 and rarely a 9) and my foot is a C - D width. In these, the size 8 was perfect in length AND width! They do run about a half size large, so ordering a half size down from your normal size (if you measure with a "half" or in between sizes) is recommended.

I LOVE these sandals! ARCH SUPPORT. Awesome! I was apprehensive at first, because "skinny" straps are usually not the most comfortable, because of their narrowness, I thought they might "cut in" more (as opposed to wider straps), but because of the criss-cross design & that there is also a toe-loop AND an *adjustable* strap at the biggest part of the foot to offset it, they are really comfortable. I have a C-D width foot & since MOST woman's shoes are made in a B width (& very few brands offer a wide-width option), I have a difficult time finding a wide enough shoe/sandal for a comfortable fit. These WORK for my feet! The toe loop, for me, is not too tight or uncomfortable at all. The sole is soft enough for me too. I love that the sole is a more rugged, sporty, durable style. Highly recommend these for those with a wider-than-average foot & who want great arch support!

I am only 38 but my feet have been sore for years. My husband suggested I might have plantar fasciitis. I thought he was wrong of course but did more research and realized that was probably the problem. I am on my feet all day and have been for years, I pronate, walk on my hard wood floors barefoot and recently started running more in shoes with less support after I read Born to Run. Anyway, I got these sandals and started icing my feet by rolling a frozen water bottle under them. I have really liked these sandals. I can slide them on easily when you get out of bed. My stylish friend will make fun of me as they look like TEVA sandals but I need to take care of my feet as they have been so sore I don't want to exercise.

After months of heel pain from planters fascitis, these shoes have brought relief. The arch is high and the footbed is wide enough for my slightly wide foot. The rubber surface and toe loop take some getting used to and is not soft. I've been wearing them all day around the house, on errands, and to work. I wish they were dressier.

Love orthaheel! Have several pairs, so lets compare. This style is the most flattering, very stable, because of adjustable cross strap. I find shoe thongs uncomfortable, but the toe loop on this sandal is very comfortable. I size down one whole size and the fit is perfect. My feet are narrow to average. Arch support is moderate, the maryjanes, sneakers and Tide sandals have more. They feel great on my tootsies! And Zappos (as usual) rocks!

I have high arches with substantial overpronation and bunions. These have the best arch support of all the sandals I've tried. The straps are also positioned to sit above and below the bunion - to avoid putting unnecessary pressure on that site.

Love these shoes! After extensive foot and ankle surgeries, I figured my ability to wear and walk in sandals was over - boy was I wrong. These Orthaheel Vionic sandals took some getting used to...well worth the time, effort and money!

I have bad plantar fasciitis in both feet and have been having really tough time finding flip flops that will give me enough support. I just pulled the Vionic out of the box and put them on. My feet immediately sighed relief! I'm wearing these the rest of the day.

Awesome shoe. No "break-in" necessary, was comfortable from minute one. I put on immediately after a run and also wear around the house. This shoe is helping my foot pain from plantar fasciitis tremendously. I plan to wear all summer!

I immediately fell in love with the comfort of this sandal. Put it on right after receiving it in the mail and have not taken them off yet. So comfortable. Great arch support. Soft heel bed. They have a sporty look, but I can pull that off where I work, luckily. I tried the Orthaheel "Tide" style originally and they were too clunky and heavy. The Mojave are super light weight and I would recommend to anyone with heel pain problems and falling arches.

Overall this is a nice looking feminine style shoe. I normally wear a 10 1/2 sandal and I got the 10. Unfortunately my foot shifts to the outside of the shoe when I walk which causes my little toe to almost hang completely off the shoe -- this isn't very comfortable. Maybe it is because of where the big toe has to go, because the length seems fine. I also found that although a nice lightweight shoe, the arch support isn't quite as strong as the "Tide" flip flop that I really like which is the reason I chose Orthaheel to start with.

The most comfortable orthotic sandal I've ever worn. The thin straps are positioned just right for comfort and good looks. Bravo to Orthaheel. I love this as a slip-on but would also buy the same with a heel strap.

I absolutely love this sandal! I was worried they might look too "orthotic" but ordered them anyway because of the stellar reviews. I am so glad I did because they look really nice on my foot and are incredibly comfortable, with full support all over. They stay put, and don't flop around, just what I wanted! I usually wear 8 1/2 in shoes, but got an 8 in these. Perfect fit!

I usually don't write reviews, but these sandals are amazing! They're built to last and take major abuse! I bought my first pair 2+ years ago. They're tough as nails! I am a very heavy & avid No. Cal. gardener. I wear these sandals the entire year. For 2 summers+ now I have worn these sandal over extremely tough terrain. The Vibram sole is indestructible & shows no signs of wear. The only reason I bought a second pair - I was afraid the company was going to change something. Historically whenever I have found "the best", the company changes the formula! So, I took out some added insurance and bought myself a second pair. Now I am going to buy a pair for my husband, so he can keep up with me. Thank you Orthaheel! Please don't change a thing!

I have a narrow, long foot, and most sandals are too loose. These fit pefectly! They also offer the support that I need so that my feet and knees do not hurt.
