The shoes were cuter than I expected them to be, felt great on my sore arches, and fit well... the only problem was they dug into the back of my heel. I can't wear them without bandaids on my heels - even socks don't provide enough cushion to prevent sore heel spots. Solved one problem and created another.

Since finding the Orthaheel shoes, I have never strayed. These are attractive (yet orthotic) shoes and work well for people (like me) with bad feet. I love the arch support and great heels. I have suffered with Plantar Fasciitis and bone spurs and always had to put two sets of insole stuff in my shoes...what a relief to just put the shoes on and go!

Have been searching for months for a vegan shoe that is supportive, not too ugly and has a removable insole (although I have decided to use the original insoles. I have very high arch support in my custom insoles, so didn't need a breaking in period for these shoes). Very comfortable and lightweight. Will be ordering the black soon.

I wear an 8.5 shoe, ordered this one in 8.5, and my foot was swimming in it. I'd say if I'd ordered a half size smaller than what I needed it still would've been ample in sizing. These weren't quite as cute out of the box as they are in the pictures. Also, the arch support is soft and only moderate, which isn't what my painful, fallen arches need. In the same order I also ordered a pair of Orthaheel athletic shoes, as well Orthaheel flip flop type sandals and both of those shoes have firm (almost hard) foot bed and arch support. These mary janes do not have the same kind of support found in these other two Orthaheel products.

I ordered this Mary Jane because the Orthaheel sandal has greatly reduced the foot pain I experience due to a morton's neuroma. I wear an 8 in the sandal but in this Mary Jane I wear my regular size 9. The toe box is too narrow for me causing the neuroma to flare up. The plum shade is much more brown than purple.

These are pretty comfortable except for the stitching around the back of the heel. It cuts into your heel and is pretty uncomfortable. I snipped some of the threads which loosed it a little. Hope this won't cause it to come undone. The other objection I have is the type of material . Because it's all some kind of synthetic material it doesn't breathe at all. Would really like to see these made in leather. Would buy additional Orthaheels if there were more shoes instead of mostly sandals. I'm in the northeast so the sandal season is pretty short. But I do like the feeling of the footbed. Very comfortable for my flat feet.

Because of the substantial orthotic foot bed, I wish consideration would have been given to more room in toe box. Big toe rubs inside top of shoe. Had to return for that reason. Also like to see a less sporty style mary jane to wear to workplace.

Cute as can be! Loved the style, but just plain don't work with my narrow flat feet. The arch support isn't what I expected, & when I secure the strap tightly enough the strap tip has about 1/2 inch dragging on the ground. So, back they go, and thank you, Zappos, for making it so easy. I love Zappos!

I have this shoe in black and love it. I have a regular width foot but wider across the bunion area, and also I'm very sore and tender in that area. The black shoes fit comfortably across the bunion and allow wiggle room for my toes. The arch support is so good I don't have to wear my usual prescription orthotic. I was very disappointed then, when I ordered the same shoe in Khaki as it just didn't fit the same. It seemed to cut just a tiny bit higher across the bunion area and fit tighter there, too. Unfortunately I have to return that color, even though I was really looking forward to being able to wear those for the summer and save the black for fall.

This is a very comfortable, stylish casual shoe. It may take a while to get used to the arch support as it is high but I think is good for your feet and also for your back.

These shoes are incredible. My feet hurt for years before I started wearing Orthaheels. It took a few days to get used to my first pair a year ago but now I can order anytime and know my feet will thank me!

These are amazing shoes! Right out of the box, they are as comfortable as slippers. This is my second pair (in a different color).

I absolutely love Orthaheel shoes. They are, literally, the only shoe I can wear. This mary mane is so cute and I can wear them with anything. The footbed is small so I recommend going up a whole size if you're going to wear socks, otherwise a half size. I normally wear a size 9, but bought a 9 1/2 because I'm not wearing socks with them. They fit perfect!

I absolutely love this shoe. The fit and arch support is what I have come to adore about Orthoheels, and I am thrilled to have a closed toe alternative to the sandals that looks good in a work environment.

I have been waiting for a few years for Orthaheel to come out with a shoe I can wear for work...and finally they have! The support of this shoe is just like the flip flops and sneakers, with a little more professional look. I love them. I have bought 3 colors, and I'm waiting for the 4th to be in stock. Only wish they made Navy Blue to make my collection complete. It's the only shoe I can wear that keeps my feet from hurting all day! Love Orthaheel!

The only thing I must say negatively about this shoe is that the velcro on the strap is too short for my wide feet. It just doesn't reach far enough to give a secure/snug closure for me. I usually wear a 7/W or sometimes a 7/M. Thought the 7/M in this might work. Sad that it didn't. Otherwise this shoe is cute as can be, comfortable, and very supportive. Going to send this back and see if I can find 1/2 size larger and maybe a wider version.

The comfort of these shoes is so excellent,I just wish it had a cuter styling to go with it. I'm not crazy about the plastic-like rim around the toe. However, I couldn't resist the comfort. I have a regular width foot with a bunion, and these fit smoothly over that tender area, and still have wiggle room in the toe. Slips just a bit on the heel. Unlike other reviewers, The length of the velcro strap when I tighten it is fine. I usually require an orthotic, but the arch support in this shoe is so excellent I can do without. Unlike most shoes I think I'll be able to stand and walk all day in these for work.

Love these shoes!very good for my plantar fasciitis. Tried a few Danskos (hit or miss) and the Orthaheel sneakers, but these feel as good as my sandals do! They are a little big for me (as are the sandals) but even with a looser fit the arch is still in the right place. Plus, they don't seem to scuff up as easily as other Orthaheels do! Very cute and they are soft. didn't have problems on my heels with rubbing.

I love these shoes. I have very challenged, wide and big feet. Most times I wear orthotics but these shoes, and some of their sandals, have great footbeds! It's the closest I will probably come to wearing ballet flats! I think I've worn out this pair already so it's probably time to order another pair or two! Maybe I'll even get another color! One suggestion, if you do wear orthotics, break these in a few hours at a time for a couple of days! The right foot rubs in the back but considering my feet. I'll live with it! Your feet will thank you!

Perfect casual Mary Jane! Love the grey/green color! Ordered a half size larger than normal because I usually wear wides and these worked just fine! Will order another pair in another color for sure! Also bought a pair of sandals a couple weeks ago and love them as well. Orthaheel is the best for anyone with foot issues! I'm picking up new orthotics next week, but won't need them with this brand! Awesome!

I love these shoes! I work retail part-time and had a difficult time finding shoes to fit my feet that would allow me to stand and walk for 5-6 hours at a time. These have plenty of toe room and lots of support. I would highly recommend these to anyone seeking comfortable shoes. These are five star shoes!

As usual, great support and comfy heel. The arch is not as hard as the sandal arches but still very supportive. I did need to put a Band aid on my heels the first day...the back is fairly high. My friend wears the same size and when she tried them on she couldn't get the velcro to even close so if you are a true wide, you may have the same issue.

Cute little shoe. And the exaggerated arch support is great for my foot issues. Love this brand. Wish they made more sandals that weren't thongs and offered narrow sizes.
