I love this style shoe. The inch and a half heel is just the right amount of heel for me. My shoe size is 6.5 and the size 38 (roughly a size 7) in the Rieker brand usually fits me. The zippered sides are a must for me, as I have high arches, and are easy to slip on and off. The lined booties will be my go to shoes for the cooler weather days, Fall and spring. They will look great with a pair of jeans or dressed up with a long skirt/dress. When I need a bootie style shoe, I will always check out the Rieker brand. A great item to complete my wardrobe!

I LOVE these boots! The heel height is perfect (not too high and not too low) and the heel itself is very cute. The ankle dimensions are ideal for wearing over skinny jeans or not. The length (up the ankle) is perfect (not too short and not too long). They are very comfortable for my problematic feet, providing adequate arch support and comfort in the ball of the foot. I bought the red ones and wear them with everything. I normally wear a size 8.5 and bought these in a size 40. I might buy another pair in black.

This shoe is simply awesome. Stylish, comfortable, it feels like a "cloud" around your foot, very very nice. I can say it is one of the most confortable booties I purchased in the past several years. I got the Medoc color which is a bit darker than a burgundy. So nice that I am thinking of getting another one in a different color.

These are the best boots that I have ever had. I have awful feet: high arches, nasty bunions and can never find anything comfortable; I walk a ton and am on my feet all day. I am truly in love with these boots and actually bought a second pair of the Medoc; how can you wear red boots and not be totally cool?

I love these boots! They are comfortable & stylish. There was no break-in period at all...wore them all over Chicago the first day.

As many others have said...a very comfy boot. I had almost given up on finding a boot that was truly...and I mean truly (not just tolerable) comfy boot. Ordered these out of desperation. Well, this brand will be my "go to" brand for boots from now on!

They're very comfortable. I have high arches, and they are perfect. They look a bit too much like motorcycle boots, so I'll save them strictly for very casual wear.

Very comfortable, but, I inserted arch support, which made it perfect for my high arches. I usually require narrow width, but, this bootie in a medium is fine, even with my narrow heel. This particular model gives a more tapered look than other Rieker booties. Has just enough heel to make it comfortable for walking, but, with style. Hope to get another pair in black.

Cute boots, kind of edgy, comfortable. Just a little heel. I could see wearing these with the right skirt too.

I saw these boots while searching for comfortable walking shoes for an upcoming European trip. I don't intend to take them to Europe, but they were just too cute to pass up. I have a long, skinny foot with a high arch and normally wear an 8.5 narrow, but these boots only came in an 8 (39 Euro) medium width. They fit me perfectly, so I think they run a little narrower and longer than marked. I haven't worn them anywhere but around the house (because I live in Florida and my feet would protest loudly if I wore anything but sandals this time of year!) but they are incredibly comfortable! The leather is so soft and the boots are very light weight. There are no spots on my feet where the shoes are rubbing and I am looking forward to wearing them this winter. My only complaint is that there is very little arch support, but I always have to use an arch insert anyway.

I love these boots! They are super cute, light and comfortable, and the opening around the ankle is spacious, which is great as it's not a constraining kind of boot. It's currently June, and I'm wearing these with short skirts and skinny jeans as is the trend right now. I'm sure I'll get lots of wear out of them in the fall/winter as well. These shoes didn't even need to be broken in; they were comfortable out of the box, and that never happens to me! Look at the U.S. size, not the Euro size for the correct fit (I wear a US 9.5, which is usually Euro 40, but it's 41 in Riekers). I had some problems getting the right size as there was a "labeling issue" at the warehouse, and they kept sending me 40's instead of 41's. The upshot was I got to try both sizes, and the 41 was definitely the correct size for me. FYI, this shoe is made in Tunisia.

I bought these booties at a store this winter (2012) and I love them. You can put them on and walk all day the first day. Very soft leather. Low heel. I gave them pretty good marks for style and I would wear them with a skirt. Booties are in. Their old-fashioned look is also where fashion is heading: see Downton Abbey.

I bought these shoes last winter and they are really comfortable. They became my favorite everyday winter shoes very fast. They are made from very soft leather, warm and long lasting. I gave only three stars for style, because I would not wear them with a skirt or over jeans, but they are perfect if you like bootcut or flare jeans.

These look really cute and are relatively more comfortable than most shoes of their kind out there. I guess I must be spoiled because I don't wear heels and never know the pains of real heels so I didn't find these as amazing as other reviewers. For city boots, they are great! They look good for the office and for short outings. I wear a size 6.5 and they fit true to size. They are light weight and easy to slip in and out of. I would not recommend for people with wider feet b/c I can imagine the small heel may not be as stable or comfortable. It's barely making the cut for me. Overall, it's cute and versatile but I would not walk miles and miles in this.

So disappointed, because these shoes seemed like they'd be very comfortable. Love the cozy lining and leather smell, mmm! Very soft leather, cute, but they were quite small to me. I could get my size 8 foot in, but my toes were at the tip and they were way too narrow. I would exchange for a larger size, but I think they don't quite have the right look now them I see them, but they are very cute. A great shoe if it fits!

Nice quality. Stylish and different. Moderately comfortable, but lacks cushioned support of any kind. True to size. I wear 8.5M and the 8.5-9 fit fine.

These are very cute, but they're not true black - more of a very dark brown. Not quite what I wanted.
