These boots are advertised as Rieker but they are actually Remonte. That said I am keeping them and very happy with them. Inside is soft and real wool and the outside is "Tex" which is apparently waterproof. They are very comfortable and feel like slippers on my feet. That said, they have a flat footbed and no arch support so if that is a problem for you these may not be a good choice for you.

I normally wear a 7.5 but ordered an 8 because of a reviewer who said they run small. They seemed like a true size 8 to me. The material was the best faux leather I've seen. They looked quality and durable. I had to return these because the inside was lined with wool. The description said "faux fur." Had it not been for that I would've happily kept them.

I usually buy Rieker shoes because they're wider than normal shoes. I wear a 7.5 W, but I can usually get away with a 7.5 regular if it's a Rieker. Not true for this boot. This boot is true to size. Cute and comfortable, but not meant for a girl with wide feet.

Very stylish and practical! Unfortunately, these were too tight over the upper foot.

I bought these boots to wear while traveling in Ireland and Amsterdam in early November. The boots kept my feet warm and dry throughout the trip and were instantly comfortable from the moment I put them on. The only CON- They need more cushioning on the ball of the foot. I felt the cold through the boot while walking The Giant's Causeway in Northern Ireland and I was very aware of the cobblestones of Amsterdam. I think a gel insert might solve the problem; I just wish I knew that earlier!

Loved the look of these shoes, but they run narrow & NO arch support. I tried putting a foot bed in, but then they were too tight. I wish they ran in 1/2 sizes, I think the next size up will be too big.

I loved this boot. The zipper just broke, the tread is worn. The tread was one of the best parts of it. I had them for two years. Looking for my next pair of reikers. Ive been wearing reikier for over 10 years. Love them!!!

Take size down if you are in between sizes. Great quality.

I ordered a 7, and these felt true to size to me. I'm having issues with my feet swelling and being sensitive, and these are easy for me to put one, have nice padding in the sole, and are very cozy. I also love the way they look. I've worn them with dresses and jeans, and they look great with either. Minus one comfort star because I find the wool lining very itchy and have to make sure I wear thick enough fabric to block the itch, like jeans or sweater tights.

I don't know how to evaluate "true to size," except to say: every other pair of shoes I've ordered lately has been too small, but this one (size 42 / US 10) fits me perfectly, with no cramp at the toe. I love the style and they're very comfortable. I can't imagine I won't buy more Rieker shoes in the future.

I got the wine, which is a rich red wine. The zippers function flawlessly, and the fasteners are attached well. It says in the attached literature that they are waterproof (yay!) They seem true to size, based on my standard 7.5 M. They are very comfy inside, and don't seem to be hot in the house. I haven't had a chance to wear them yet, seen as it is still in the 90's in Oct here in Central CA. But they definitely seem to be a very nice awesomely styled boot (much better looking than the picture)!

I LOVE THESE BOOTS! I wear a size 9 and ordered a size 9. Fit perfectly. They are lightweight, warm, comfortable, and super fashionable. I have the Maus color. I wanted something I could wear with leggings and a t-shirt or jeans and a cute top... and these are them! Highly recommended. :)

I love them and as a gal that usually wears a size 11, I was pretty thrilled to find that the size 10 fits me. I have this brand in a similar style in a size 11...those do fit great as well but have some room in the toe. The insides are really cushy, lined with a fluffy material. I think they will be great winter boots. They are very comfortable.

I wore these boots practically every day last winter. They were comfortable and looked great. I got lots of compliments on them. For me, the fact that they are synthetic was a plus because I wouldn't have to worry about ruining them in the rain or snow (although for heavy rain or actually tromping through snow or slush, these are not waterproof or warm enough). Shortly after I started wearing them again this year, though, they got a hole in the outer layer in the front of one boot. For the price, I expected them to last longer than one season. So, I think I will try Rieker again because I love the look, but I will try real leather next time in hopes that it's more durable.

These boots are fantastic. I ordered them after a long search for the perfect boot. I was in search for a boot that I could wear inside and out, for walking dogs, and something that would also work in the often slushy and wet winters we have on Cape Cod. I tried a number of boots and this one finally hit the mark. I have narrow feet, so it was perfect, and the wool lining is just enough to keep my feet warm outside but not get too hot indoors. They are comfortable and versatile and I know I will get tons of use out of them. This is my first pair of Reikers and I am already very happy! I was shocked that another reviewer said these run large! I normally wear a 6.5 and I ordered a 37 (6.5/7) and they were so tight even in thin socks that my toes were squished. They are super-cute, though.

Not as stylish looking on as I thought it looked in pictures- I had an older/different brand of slouched boot I used to love & hoped this would look similar— just didn’t feel youthful enough for my age.....

More like slippers than boots. I loved everything about these except for one crucial thing, there's barely any sole on them, just a very thin piece of soft rubber. I felt like I was walking around in my socks, even an insole didn't make much of a difference. For the amount of money these cost it's surprising to me that there seemed to be so little thought put into the making of an actual sole. They would have been perfect otherwise.

These boots run tight across the toe box and I don't have wide feet. I thought about exchanging them for a size up because they seem perfect for all the walking I do and the synthetic leather of these boots is high quality. However I couldn't get over how the and the top of the boot flairs out, away from the leg both in the front and back.

Don't come in half sizes - if you are a 7.5 38 is a bit short and narrow but I think a full size up would be too big. If you have high arches , I think this would also be too tight. if you are a half size. These are pretty comfortable, though the wool lining is a bit itchy where it touches your skin and limits how practical it would be to wear this outside a true winter cold. Not sure if they would make my feet sweat indoors. I normally don't keep shoes that aren't comfortable right away, but haven't been able to find anything better so I will update when I wear them for a while

I usually wear 8.5, ordered 39 and they fit fine length wise for me. I ordered two styles of boots from this brand and never really thought of my feet as wide, but both pairs seem to run really narrow for my food. This pair uncomfortably squeezed the part of my foot just beyond where my toes attach. The tread on the sole is lighter than what I prefer with boots and the materials didn't seem super sturdy with the boot being glued onto the sole, so back they go!

Really cute, but not comfy. Size was too small I'm usually an 8 these days, used to be 8.5. These I would have needed an 8.5 but they still didn't seem like they would be comfy. No arch support. Toes were tight, so no room for insole.

I really wanted to like these. They have comfy fleece lining, and are warm. However, the sole is completely flat. No arch support at all. I wore them for one day, and the plantar fasciitis that I've been working to heal for a year came back. IN A DAY. I'm so upset. I would warn anyone with foot problems like mine to stay away from this one.

These boots are nice looking, but so uncomfortable! They have some sort of a bump in the sole, which made my feet hurt while I was trying them on. It's a shame, those boots are nice looking and warm.
