I really wanted to love these sandals - they were super comfortable from the get go - but after about three days the left sandal started squeaking. I cannot bear to wear them any more and am extremely disappointed. The style is not super exciting - a bit Birkenstockish - but I could have lived with that if it was not for the squeak.

Sadly I returned these. They fit true to size BUT within 1 minute of wearing these in my home they began to loudly squeak. I can't wear shoes that do this. I think it must be a defect as many other reviews on them are wonderful (why I ordered. I did not try a second pair as I don't want to return them again.

This shoe's straps did not have enough length to allow for any swelling of feet. There is no allow for overlap.

This is the second pair I was sent. The first was defective, and now the second. On both pairs, the stitching for the heel strap effectively disintegrated, on the first pair, during the first wear on both shoes, and the second pair, so far, the left shoe. Though they're a beautiful shoe and fit wonderfully, the quality in stitching/durability is definitely lacking. Sad to have to return these (again).

These shoes feel like they are sewn together with fishing wire, and the footbed is flat and feels cheap. I guess Alegria's quality is going down the tube just like Dansko's did.

What a disappointment! Grey shoe bed liner is cut too short for the shoe bed and has rough, exposed edges...so when you slide your foot into the sandal, the stitching on the sandal and the edges of the grey leather lining actually cuts the undersides of your toes. I have never returned a pair of shoes before, and these are definitely going back. I'm looking at the Wolki shoe, instead...similar design, slightly higher in price, looks well made. I need a good, comfortable, stable sandal for walking miles and miles when I'm in Europe.

Unfortunately, this sandal is not for me. The heel strap did not fit my foot and it could not be adjusted to fit. If there was a longer piece of velcro on the strap, I could have adjusted it. What a bummer! Back they go! I really like this shoe and I think it would be very comfy!

I wish these fit better. They are cute and supportive like Allegria is, but they felt a lot more narrow than is normal for this brand. I also did not like that the back strap is not adjustable. Returning to Zappos and as always they rock!
