Yay! I am petite and have narrow calves. Do you know how hard it is to find boots that aren't ridiculously wide?! If you do, then here are your boots. I got them tonight and the platform makes the boots nice and tall but comfortable enough to walk in and the shaft is not over-the-knee-bend so I can actually walk in them. The suede lining is oh-so-soft, and the color (brown) is beautiful. I have searched the local DWSs and purchased and returned 5 boots that promised slim calves or just didn't work off The Internets and finally found a pair that I like. Half tempted to get the ones in black if I didn't already have a pair.

As soon as I tried on these boots, I knew they were exactly what I wanted. Like other thin-legged reviewers have said, it's hard to find a pair of boots that actually fit and don't make me look like I'm playing dress up in mommy's clothes. The boots look great with skirts, nice slacks and jeans. Also, they're really comfortable...and I'm not a high heels kind of girl either. Try them out. You won't be disappointed.

These boots are very chic and classic. I have a really hard time finding boots that are snow friendly and cute, but these fit the bill. I have very small calves, and these were snug for me, but not uncomfortable. I wear a 7 1/2, but I ordered an 8, thinking that I would wear thicker socks for warmth. The boots fit like they were 7 1/2, so I'd reccomend ordering a half size up. The lug type soles are great! They will work for tucking in very skinny jeans, wearing over boot cut jeans, or with skirts/dresses. The leather seems to be of high quality. I would reccomend these to anyone needing a waterproof boot. I'm becoming a rapid fan of the Timberland brand!

Love them! Bought them in my regular size 8. I am 5 foot 8 and skinny. These come up just about 2 inches below my knee and fit fabulously tight.

I walk everywhere and needed a boot (and a heel) to get me around town. These boots are comfortable right out of the box, and a stylish mix of city/country (slightly clunky) without the heft of a "cowboy" boot. Size 11 fit true to size and width. Plenty of room for toes. You'll want insoles or some thick socks if you have feet on the narrow end. Soft lining is easy on the skin, but also fits over jeans, even with athletic calves.

It really helped me to choose the right boot and size by reading reviews so I too will write one on these boots. I love them! They are comfortable, beautiful, versatile w/no break in time at all. The heel is high enough to look good but very comfortable to walk in. The sole has a good thickness under the foot for comfort even on cobblestones. I usually wear a 6 1/2 reg to wide. After reading all the reviews I got a 7 Wide and they fit perfectly!

I have such a hard time finding boots for my 9 1/2 W foot. If they are wide enough in the foot, they are too wide in the calf. Not with these boots, they are perfect! They're comfortable right out of the box. They have a very soft inner lining as well. The leather is beautiful, and the style is such that I can dress them up or down. Love these boots!

Love these boots! Just unpacked them and put them on and they are super comfy, warm, and look fairly well-constructed. I am short (5'1") and have medium-to-large calves so they're a bit on the snug side at the widest part of my calf, but I actually like that because it means they'll stay up and not slouch. The leather is soft, and the velvet-like inner lining is gorgeous and super soft; it won't irritate my dry skin like a simple leather lining would have. The leather had some small scuff marks on it when I took the boots out of the box, but these were easily rubbed away with my thumb, and I think they will look good after some normal wear and tear. I'm sitting at my desk at work right now and I should probably put my other boots back on and put these back in the box to bring them home, but they're just so warm and toasty I can't bring myself to do it! Buy these boots!

Great with jeans or a skirt. I would say that you should order a 1/2 size up, because the boot is a bit narrow in the front. If you want to wear thick socks, then definitely a go up a 1/2 size. Have these in black as well.

This shoe is gorgeous, but it is going back because it just feels to snug all over including the calf. I normally don't have any problem with boots fitting around my calf, but I wanted a shoe I could also wear with jeans and I don't think even a skinny jean would fit. Other than that, the leather is top notch and the shoe is very stylish but not over the top. Thanks Zappos!

I just got this boots and tried them on and already love them! They are everything I was looking for; comfortable but with style. I am 5’7” and have skinny calves and these boots are perfect! I got the brown ones and the color brown is much darker than it looks like on the pictures (which totally okay with me), but thought you should know it is not a light brown at all.

These boots are great. I've ordered and tried on so many boots that would go with skinny calves and these work. It is still a little loose, but it still gives a lean skinny look. I tried them in the snow, and it certainly keeps you dry. It can be worn with dress pants as well as jeans. Love these boots. I would highly recommend if you are looking for a professional boot as well as a casual boot for day to day wear during the winter season. Worth the purchase.

The most comfortable good looking boots I own. I have black & cognac color. I receive compliments every time I wear these.

While I'm returning these, I wanted to post a review as these are lovely boots. They are comfortable, fit well, and the soles seem great for mixed weather conditions. The height of the shaft is very nice and the leather is soft. I'm only returning them because the heel height is really too much for me. Otherwise I love them!

This boot runs small! I am normally an 8.5 or 9, but I was a definite 9.5 in this boot. But besides that...love these boots and here is why: 1st -- it actually fits to my calf. I am not skinny by any means but I could never find a boot that my calves weren't swimming in. 2nd -- can be dressed up or down. I love that they can be super sexy with a black dress or look fab with a cowboy hat. 3rd -- love the leather. It's soft but very high quality and won't lose shape. 4th -- Comfort and traction. I'm from up north so function is just as important as fashion when it comes to your boots. I don't need to show the whole world my underpants when I go slipping on the ice in the parking lot like I did last week before church.

Love this boot...perfect for winter dress. Warm and comfortable...looks great with tights and leggings. Highly recommend them.

These boots are very comfortable. They fit nicely against small calves... I usually have difficulty finding boots to fit small calves but found this fits great... There is still room to put thin pants and thick jeans into the boots comfortably. You can wear thicker socks with your regular size in shoes. I usually am a size 8.5 and I ordered it as such. In UGGS traditional boots that are wide I usually go down a half size... size 8. In these Timberlands you can go down for a more fitted comfort or go your usual size with some room.

I love the boots, very well made and comfortable. Take the suggestions left by others, get a wide, the toe box is narrow. If you do so, they should fit like your others knee high boots.

I normally wear a 10 in any regular shoe, so I got the 10 here. My feet border medium to wide, so most shoes I get a medium. When reading these reviews I got the wide for the boots. They rock. Here's why: - Fashionable - Waterproof - Very Comfortable - Sturdy - Excellent traction - Shock absorption - Some give in the shaft. Love them.

These boots have lots of great features. They have a wonderfully warm lining and a comfortable design for such a high heel. The brown color is very attractive, and the elastic goring around the calf helps those of us who need it. I'm very satisfied with this purchase. So far I'm very happy with Zappos service as well.

Loved these right out of the box, then I put them on. I wear a 6 in everything, but these felt too small, especially the height over my instep. The boot didn't have enough room for my foot to be comfortable. I tried to wear them around the house until my foot fell asleep. I returned and will order the 6.5 and see if that is better.

These are great for small girls. I'm 5'3...105...thin legs. I have had so many pairs of boots in my home...all went back but these. But be aware of a piece of cardboard molding in the toe area. It must be removed. I almost sent these back because I didn't see the packing material, and I thought the boots were too small. They are even prettier than in the picture, and they have great traction, a full zipper, and a soft lining. And Zappos has been so patient with me as I've sent so many boots back...even Frye and Lucchese. Small-boned girls...these may work for you!
