I love these shoes, the perfect mens-wear inspired loafer with lots of personality! I instantly tore them out of the box and wore them for an entire workday on my feet! Super comfy, classy, fun, unique, what more could I ask for!? And Zappos, as always, provided exceptional customer service!

This is a very comfortable and attractive shoe. I chose the metallic color, kind of a mottled gold/beige shiny/matte that works nicely with just about anything without being boring. I get compliments on them from men and women. I have narrow feet, and these are somewhat spacious in that respect, but otherwise the size 8 was a perfect fit and this shoe is extremely walkable (I live in NYC). The sole is great -- not that flimsy paper-thin nonsense that you see so often, but thick and well-made with proper traction. It's the closest I'll ever get to wearing a sneaker / tennis shoe, which says a lot.

I bought these in the silver/metallic color and am really happy with them. They are the classic, clean oxford look with a twist. I've gotten many compliments. I find that silver is pretty neutral and have no problem wearing these instead of black shoes with most outfits. The shoes are comfortable and well-made.

The order process was easy, the arrival with basic shipping was fast and the shoes are great. This was the first time I used Zappos and I was not disappointed. I have finally found a pair of shoes for work that I can wear without hurting my back and they look business-like instead of like bowling shoes. I have a bad back and cannot wear any type of heel and best case is to be able to wear my orthotic inserts. When I would find a pair of "dress" shoes with no more than an inch heel, they did not have removable inserts so they would work, but not the best. Not only do these shoes have a removable insert but they are extremely comfortable in other areas. The last pair of Oxfords I found was stiff and hurt my toes. These have soft leather that does not dig into the back of my heel or cramp my toes. I highly recommend them and the service of Zappos.

Excellent shoes, comfortable too. The shoes does not fit to all the contours of the foot. But I wore the shoes in San Antonio and walked around for 3-4 miles, no leg pain in the morning. This is amazing! About the look of the shoes - these don't fit into the "casual" clothes and shoes profile because of the metallic appearance. I have not tried them on with dress pants yet. But if you want to make a statement with Oxfords - this is it.

Laces made it possible for this nice shoe to work with my narrow foot. Looks great with pants or tights and skirts.

These fit great and are way cool. They are lightweight without being insubstantial. Believe it or not, they even look great in size 11!

Extremely comfortable! I have a hard foot to fit, so was surprised at how easy these felt from the first wearing. Might run just a tad large compared to other brands, but not half a size large. Great neutral color (mine are a bit darker than in the photo). A definite "10"!

Extremely comfortable shoe to wear. Looks classy enough for the office with a nice trouser suit. In my job I walk outside across a university campus so needed something presentable but stylish as I didn't want to wear an athletic shoe - this fit the bill perfectly. Liked them so much I ordered a 2nd pair in the grey.

One of my best comfortable shoes! I always have trouble in wearing shoes because of my high sensitivity if the small toe. And usually it take a while before I can really feel comfy. I received this pair today and immediately put it on. Wore all day long - even didn't remember that I am wearing an absolutely new pair so comfy I felt. Very smooth tender leather inside, stylish vintage look. I recommend these shoes to all fans of Oxford style.

Bought as gift for my daughter. She is a restaurant manager and on her feet all day. They are stylish, great color and comfortable.

This shoe is super comfy and has a nice old school look to it. Only complaints is that the leather and color scuff and change easily. Also the greay is like a stonewashed color where it fades from dark grey to light.

The other reviews were correct. The back of the shoe is loose and wide. Without a 10½ available I had no choice and had to go with the 11 for length however, I do not need the width in the heels. I purchased some inserts and they seem to be fine. The shoes are still a little loose.

It's almost embarrassing how much I love wearing these shoes. They go with everything! Skinny jeans, trousers, skirts, dresses - you name it, these look great with them. They are super comfortable too. I wear a size 10 and these are true to size.

These are probably the best shoes I've ever owned. They're super comfortable, I get compliments on them all the time, and despite walking a lot and having them for maybe 3 years they're still in great condition! Don't even know how that's possible.

These are the best shoes that I have purchased in a long time. They are so comfortable and there was no break-in time. They look great, too.

Classic and comfortable! I searched and searched for a great pair of oxfords that weren't too stiff yet still had the look of more expensive shoe. I am so glad that I found these. The leather is soft. The sole has the comfort of a rubber but the appearance. No need to break them in. I have horrible feet: bunions and a flat foot. These shoes feel great. I walked around the mall all day the second time I wore them, and my feet felt supported and comfy at the end of the day. Great find! Great buy!

In love with these shoes! Size: I normally wear and 8 1/2 or a 9. I got a 9, which is a bit long, but perfect with socks. Quality: the leather is thick without being stiff. I got the brown. The sole is perfect for winter and slippery surfaces. Bottom line: don't hesitate! I think I am going to get them in black!

I bought a brown pair of these first and liked them so much I bought the black pair. These are the most comfortable shoes I own, and they are very well made. Of course they look great with my work clothes, and I am very happy with them. I wish there were more oxfords available.

I am so happy I bought these! My job just doubled its space, so I've been having weeks of 12+ hour days, a lot on my feet on unforgiving concrete. Wearing sneakers was not an option. These shoes required no break in time at all! No rubbing, and I could wear them the next day no problem. They look great with skinny jeans and pants. I haven't worn them with skirts yet, so not sure about that. I have kind of wide, flat feet, and generally shop for arch support. These have just the right amount. Highly recommend!

I needed comfortable, casual shoes to replace my loafers. After wearing sandals and sneakers all Summer, my feet just did not want to fit into the narrow toe box of my well worn loafers. When I saw these Oxfords in the box, I thought they looked too narrow, but they fit my feet perfectly. They are incredibly comfortable for walking. They fit true to size. I will probably order them in another color.

So pleased with these. I'd been searching forever for the perfect blend of comfort and looks in an oxford shoe, and I finally found it. I'm very pleased with how rich and high-quality these look. I'm not a fan of the super cheapie dance shoe style oxfords. These look expensive and European. As for comfort, these are super light weight, the sole doesn't look heavy and obtrusive, but it's rubbery and hasn't been slippery at my cafe job. While they aren't super cushy or soft or anything, I can indeed wear them all day, or even two days in a row with no foot pain. I am someone who loves cute little pointy-toed flats, but just can't wear them more than once a week or I get terrible foot and leg cramps. These Arlettas I could wear most of the week, though maybe not every single day. The rest of the week I wear plain flat sneakers (Converse) with Good Feet inserts. Now that's comfort.

I love these shoes. I spend most of my time in Manhattan and these shoes are simultaneously fashionable and walkable. I can wear them all day and walk for miles and still be quite comfy. They are comfortable immediately with socks, but to wear without socks (for that clean, sleek look), it takes a little longer to break in. I can wear these shoes with any pair of pants (jeans, khakis, slacks, etc.) and they always add a classic flair. I especially like that they are rubber-soled (good for winter and for absorbing the impact of walking on pavement). Also, these shoes are now over a year old, and they only look more gorgeous and feel more comfortable than when they were new.

Menswear inspired wingtips. Exactly what I wanted. Comfortable with no breaking in period. Two pairs of laces - standard and velvet. Not too clunky and not too girly.

These are very cute shoes that make my feet look slender, which I like. I do normally wear a narrow and these are comfortable, but I think they would fit normal feet as well. Overall they are well padded, have flexible soles, and are very comfortable, except when I go up on tiptoes the seam across the toes can be felt.
