Since the seats in planes are so close these days, if you recline you are totally disturbing the person behind you. You have to try and sleep sitting up. This pillow is wonderful for your neck whether you are trying to sleep or not. It inflates very easily,fits around your neck comfortably. It is much thicker than the one they give you on the plane, deflates easily, and is washable.

I underestimated the comfort this pillow provided. In fact, I had two Sandman Travel pillows with me on a recent flight to Bangkok. I used one pillow around my neck for a secure, comfortable support of my size large head. The other pillow I used as either a lumbar support or a whoopee cushion depending on where the blood had stopped flowing. The inflation feature allowed for easy storage in my carry on, keeping the pillows both clean and out of the way when not in use. Now, safely back home, I use the pillow to keep me comfortable while viewing the 3,500 photos that I took on the trip.

Useless item since the bladder springs a leak after 8 - 10 uses. You have to send the bladder back to Eagle Creek and wait 6 weeks for a new one. I have spent more on postage returning defective bladders than if I had just bought a different brand in the first place. Don't buy!

I love the ease of inflation and deflation with the flapper valve. This pillow overcomes the things that I disliked in the prior inflatable pillow I had which took much longer to inflate and was more difficult to get all of the air out so it would pack in a compact shape.

Inflates easily. Most comfortable when not fully inflated. Cover is removable for laundering. This is a good product, I recommend it.

I just used this pillow on a trip to/from Seattle/Washington D.C. It was great. I used it both as a neck pillow and deflated it a bit and used it as lumbar support.

I have used this pillow for a few years now on flights, as well as while traveling in cars. The pillow is deflatable which makes for easy adjustment for neck comfort, as well as making it an easy item for packing in your carry on bag. I also like the fact that you can take the cover off and wash it! Additionally, I have used it for lumbar support! This is just a great little pillow!

We really liked this travel pillow - it was comfortable, easy to inflate and deflate, and did not take up much space in our baggage. We ordered two - one had a small hole after one time of usage. Zappos was amazing, though, and allowed us to exchange it so easily. Best customer service ever!

Good quality construction. Easy to inflate and deflate. Soft pillow cover. I find the fabric seam on the side of the pillow against my neck uncomfortable -- I can shift the pillow to avoid it, so will keep the pillow. Folds into itself for storage increasing convenience.
