My son has never worn a Wide before. But I couldn't even pull the Velcro strap closed when he was wearing this shoe. I tried thinner socks and strapping them while he was standing. But they just won't close. They are really good quality and super cute. But we just can't keep them.

These are great shoes! My 17 month old wears them everyday and they seem to wear well. They are easy to get on and off. My daycare provider also commented that she loves them and she sees many different children's shoes.

My son has wide short feet. These shoes in wide just aren't wide enough! So cute, I can fit his foot in but the velcro only comes across halfway!

Good shoes, well made. My son, 3, loves that they are green, they have been lived in hard - running on dirt roads, a ton of climbing on sandstone, general kid wear. They are 2 concerns, they are a bit stiff to earn 5 stars, and the velcro flap is not long enough. My son wants it velcroed "all the way" and that makes for a tight fit in thicker socks. Otherwise a great shoe for an active boy who needs a flexible shoe to move!

These shoes are super cute and comfy. My daughter loves wearing them. My only complaint would be that they started looking dirty almost right away and are hard to keep clean with an active 3 year old...but it's not a huge deal and overall I'm happy with the purchase.

Love the color and the style, but taking out one star since it is a half size smaller than marked and more narrow. I thought this would last my 2 year old longer but looks like he will grow out of it within the next 2 months.

My 17 month old son owns two pairs of Saucony sneakers and he loves it! My son has a little wide feet and somehow Saucony sneaker seems narrower than Nike, Adidas, or Toms.

My 3.5 year son says, "They're good for running around and biking." He has quite a wide foot and the velcro strap just barely closes over his foot. I found the Tsukihoshi shoes to work a bit better with his wide and thick foot, but these are a good match for our needs this fall.

These are amazing shoes for chubby little baby feet or wide feet. My son has had at least 5 pairs of these. However, as he is loosing the baby chub these seem too wide for him. He has an average width foot and these seem to be more like a W in other brands. I still love them, but wish they weren't so wide.

These are very cute but definitely on the narrow side and definitely buy a size bigger than your kid wears currently. They seem to run small. My kid will no wear them because he says they are too tight across the arch. Oh well.

Love this for my 16 month old girl. Lightweight, easy to put on and take off.

Very cute shoe and nice purple color, and since I was purchasing for a "just about to walk" child, I'll admit the cuteness factor was probably a larger factor than practicality, etc. in my purchasing decision. I agree with some of the other reviews that mention the loop strap doesn't easily reach all the way across the shoe -- and my daughter has a narrow/regular width foot. I don't imagine this shoe would work well for wide feet. I can't really comment as to comfort since I'm not the one wearing them, but they do not seem to bother my daughter and there are no issues with putting them on her feet (other than my comment about width).

So cute! My 3 year-old loves wearing these shoes. I only wish the velcro strap were longer... kids have "fat" feet, and it's a little hard to close the strap over his foot. But the style is so adorable, I want a pair for myself.

My son loves these shoes. He wants to wear them all the time. I actually have to wait for him to fall asleep before I take them off, otherwise he throws a fit. The red is a great color. My only complaint is that the strap closure is a little short. My son has a relatively narrow foot and it still doesn't quite reach the other side.

Cutest shoe...I want the dark purple one for my daughter as well. Only wish the velcro closure was longer as my daughter's foot is thick (not wide) so the closure did not wrap all the way over the top of her foot. Maybe offering a wide version would have worked even better.

Overall, this is a great kids' shoe. I like that the width is very adjustable - fits my son's wide foot, and my daughter's narrow foot. The price is also reasonable for a child's sneaker. I gave it 4 stars only because I'm not sure how well they wear since my kids have grown out of them rather quickly.

Our son picked these shoes out from several we ordered, probably because they were the brightest! He loves them and we love that they are easy to get on/off. So far, a month later the wear and tear is good. Of all the shoes we got, these fit best, so I would say they run a bit big.

This shoe is so adorable and my son (really me) has gotten several compliments on them. I think it's funny that zappos asks us to rate comfort and how we like this shoe overall when I bought it for my 2 yr. old. He's just started to talk let alone ask him how comfortable it is which is why I gave those categories 3 stars. Anyway he wears wides and I was glad I ordered the wide width, they really fit great out the box on him, they have stretched a little which is a good thing. I will definitely buy another pair in the future, I like to change styles up every 6 months but will come back to this style for sure and hopefully he won't need wides then since there are far more styles that are regular width.

Too small for picky toddler who's used to vans. The toe section was too padded and he's not used to "breaking in" shoes. Great style and all that just not for him.

Very cute, old-school style. I ordered the Wide for my son, they seem to fit well but the Velcro flap does not reach all the way across once on - it seems the flap was not widened with the rest of the shoe! I kept the shoes but it would be nice if the flap was a bit longer so part of the Velcro was not exposed on the top of the shoe and they look as though they are on properly.

These are adorable, but they did not hold up well for an active four year old. While the sole is still in good shape after 3 months of regular wear, they look completely beat up and the suede is a mess. We probably won't get these again, but if we did it would definitely not be in red.

My son isn't one to pull off his shoes and yet he doesn't seem to want to wear these (ever) and the few times he wore them to school he kept taking them off like they were uncomfortable. Also, the tongue slips around easily and doesn't want to stay put in the middle.

Three and a half stars. Enough stars that I am buying them again. My two year old had no complaints about these shoes. He has wide feet so we are limited on shoes with a reasonable price, good fit, and still look cute. I feel like these shoes are everything we need except the quality is not the greatest. I was very disappointed that they did not even last a season. Luckily, his feet grow faster than the changing seasons so we need new shoes anyway. I have to say, my son wears these everyday, he is a typical boy that gets into everything and is always on the go. I cannot say the quality is horrible, but again the shoe did not make it one season without the bottom coming halfway off starting at the heel.

The shoes provide a nice contrast of color to my children's wardrobes, without being overwhelming. Really like the old school appeal of the shoe. The velcro straps being attached is a bit wacky. Wish the shoe was made of leather, as opposed to suede. Gets dirty too quickly. The straps and suede are the reasons I deducted two points overall.
