I absolutely have come to love Alegria shoes, they are beautiful and great to walk in. But my poor feet are the problem and the shoes hurt my extremely sensitive feet. Unfortunately, I have to return. This does not mean that I would not recommend these to someone else.

Alegria Never Fails Me I have three pair of Alegrias, and I was so excited to finally find a navy color in the style I wanted. These always rub the top of my toes at first but eventually stretch a bit after wear and fit perfectly. I bought my first pair of Alegria 4 years ago, and they are still going strong. I have no pain when I wear these shoes.

I love the design and pattern and I was really hopeful I could wear them but they just are not wide enough to the point of being painful. I'm going to have to return. But I would definitely recommend these to anyone with a more normal size foot. I have ordered another pair a size up but now I'm afraid I'm not too hopeful.

Loved the look of these shoes. Unfortunately, the toe box depth is not comfortable for me. I have a hammer toe on each foot and while the size and width were great, the toe box rubbed painfully.

love alegria but only have used their sandals of which i have 6-7 pair wear them straight out of the box, no breaking in period. these hurt not sure why, even got a 1/2 larger figuring i would wear them with wool socks. loved the look so sad to send them back.

I'm actually trying to decide. I love the style and design of the shoe without any question. I have extremely wide feet that swell especially in the afternoon, along with Neuropathy and Arthritis in my toes. I literally have tried every brand of shoe I can find that I think will work and then they don't. As wide as the toebox is on this shoe my feet still feel cramped. I ordered the 10.5-11. Wondering about going up a size. If this brand shoe offered an extra wide it would be perfection for me. But I absolutely love the Minnow Rainbow design and coloring and hate to give that up.

Unfortunately, the size conversion chart on these shoes is off. If you normally wear a 6.5 US, I advise you to purchase the 37. The 36 was WAY too small. Even though these shoes were too small, I could tell that if they fit they would have been very comfortable. They made my feet look like giant duck feet though and are much less attractive than, say, Danskos. Returned.

I have worn the alegria clogs and sandals, but was nervous to try a shoe with a back (for the rubbing on my heel). But these are -hands down- the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn. I stand 8 hours a day on concrete (art teacher) and my feet do-not-even-ache at the end of the day. Note, the toe box is lower than the clogs, so there will be a little rubbing/adjustment to toes that are higher, but it's worth it. I wear danskos, birkenstocks and vionic throughout the year, ordering a new pair every 12 months. But Alegria is the very best of them all.

I wear size 11 US size. The first time I ordered a size 10.5-11 Palamo, but it fits smaller. Returned and got 11.5-12 and it fit perfectly. I ordered 11.5-12 when I bought "Free Form" Debra Professional and it fits like a glove. No wearing it in, very comfortable, felt arc support immediately, wore for 12 hour shifts the next 2 nights (hospital concrete floors) and feet never hurt. The material is very durable and looks awesome. I just bought another pair, the "Black Leather" too. Also just bought Alegria Classic in "Upgrade". I have found my forever shoes finally. Please don't stop making these Alegria Debra Professional shoes. I am hooked. Would love to see these in an "oiled brown" like in the Keli style. as I would buy them too. I need the thickness that this shoe provides of maximum support and the alleviation of strain on my feet.

I got a size 9 in these and the fit is perfect. I have arthritis in the joint of my toes and the only shoes I can comfortably wear for any length of time are this brand. Cute styles and lots of compliments when I wear them to work!

Wide doesn't feel wide and leather is very stiff on the black embossed. The clog is attractive and I was hopeful it would work with the rocker style with my toe arthritis as I have an Alegria sandal that works for me. However, I ordered the 36 Wide and it doesn't feel wide to me. Since I have a high instep it was hard to get my foot inside the shoe with the opening. Also the heel area grips very tightly which may be due to the stiffness of the leather on top. This doesn't feel like it would loosen up with wear.

I got this Debra professional along with the Kayla and Keli shoes to compare them all. The Debra was by far the least comfortable (ended up keeping the Kayla). I ordered all three in 38 wide (8 to 8.5). The Debra felt the narrowest of all of them and was incredibly painful on my bunions / hammer toe. I couldn't even walk around in them for a while to try to see if they would mold to my feet. These also have that ugly lip around them that I notice from clear down the hall of the hospital at work when anyone else has this brand of shoes. Something about it is just so ugly to me. Bandsaws and the leather upper seemed incredibly high quality. Just not for wide feet (particularly for bunions). Because of my bunion problem and resultant fallen arch, I also have a really high toe box with a bone spur on the top of my foot. There was no way this was going to comfortably fit over the top of my foot.

I wanted these shoes to be able to work in a kitchen all day but the suede style inside the shoe tends to make my socks stick and it was hard to adjust my socks to make the fit comfortable. I normally wear compression socks with my work shoes and perhaps if my socks were a bit smoother this wouldn’t be a problem? Just s guess. I loved the style and normally wear an 8 1/2. These were a nine and it seemed my toe was close to the front of the toe. Or perhaps it was my socks. Just bummed these couldn’t work out and had to be returned.

I'm so sorry but turns out I'm not a clog person. So many great colors and patterns. Just didn't more the way I needed them to.

I loved these shoes when I first got them. super comfortable and light weight (compared to dansko clogs ) but within time maybe like two months later the heel insole just didn’t have cushion anymore and it started to hurt my heel. maybe I just need to get a heel cushion or new insoles. but overall good shoes.

Very comfortable when standing for long periods of time!

I’ve fallen in love with Alegria! I only wish there were more pattern options. I’ve been a die hard Dansko clog wearer for my night shift work. Wanted to to try something different after my last pair of Dansko’s didn’t feel so right.

this is a lovely shoe. I had ordered it and a Keli in the same size. unfortunately, the Debra has too much heel room for my foot. I did want to try a slip on rocker sole as I have 2 pairs of Palomas. if you have normal to wide heels it will probably work for you. it is very nice but I am best off not stepping out of my shoes. thanks Zappos for your easy return policy.

It was wonderful able to wear them to work first day without breaking them in.

These are adorable and pretty comfortable, however, they squeak when I walk which is not good when I'm trying to sneak into a patients room to check on them overnight. My colleagues also make fun of the squeaking, so it's noticeable.

Had to send the first pair back and order 1 size smaller. Then had to accept that this shoe- or maybe just this type of shoe (?) fits the way it does- because if I ordered any smaller my toes would be scrunched up but the shoe still doesn’t fit in the back- seems to big to me and comes off my heel when I walk. But when I showed it to coworkers (I am a medical assistant) who wear other similar brands their shoes fit the same way so I think maybe this is just the way the shoe is supposed to fit. So ultimately I am not a fan, but have decided to keep it to have in my work shoe rotation. I don’t find they have much arch support or are very cushy or anything either. But hey- they look neat! I get comments on that.

I returning this shoe because it was too large, also didn't care for the style on my feet.
