Very cute shoe but like many of the Alegrias, not a whole lot of space for movement of the toes in a vertical way. I like to be able to wiggle my toes slightly and have that space- none there in this show, so they went back.

Of all the shoes that I have tried looking for a rocker sole to allow me to walk normally despite having hallux rigidus (a big toe joint that won't bend), this has the best rocker. However, the shoe was short for its size while also very loose in the heel. I can't order a larger size because my foot was already slipping out of the shoe at the back while my toes were too close to the front. It is not a pretty shoe, but it is almost fun in its clunkiness -- it comes off looking like a statement instead of an orthopedic shoe. The arch support is really good. If you have a wide heel and need a rocker sole, this shoe is perfect. Sadly, I have to return it even though I wish I could make it work for me.

I like the look of this shoe very much and really wanted it to work. My podiatrist recommended I try a clog like those made by Dansko for a work shoe. I'm a teacher with multiple problems in my feet. Dansko was ridiculously large until they became too short as I went down in the sizes I tried. Alegria seems smaller in width and similar enough in style to help if I could get one to fit. I am trying these shoes with a custom orthotic insole which I MUST wear. Unfortunately, while this was my second order of this particular shoe in a smaller size trying to make it work, I was still walking out of the shoe. I can't go any shorter and it doesn't come in a narrow (nor did the Dansko with the removable insole). I don't normally wear a narrow shoe but the medium width in both brands was really really wide on the foot. I appreciate the reasoning but it doesn't work if your foot comes out of the shoe when you walk! Sadly, I will have to give up on this brand. I bought the brown leather design with the butterflies and if they fit you...I thought the design was very nice. Subtle but interesting...

The sizing didn’t work for me but I liked how wide the toe box was. I’m usually a 39 which was sloppy big but the 38 was too short and couldn’t fit my orthotics comfortably. Instead I got a pair Dansko XP that fit better.

These shows are made very well but after wearing them a couple of times, the top of my foot started to get scratched by the material. Eventually it became too uncomfortable and i resulted in giving these shoes away. pros: great leather, good heel cons: stiff , uncomfortable after 3-5 uses

I am a true 9.5 narrow and I don’t know why I did not order the 10. My toes came right to the end. The arch support was in the perfect spot. The top of the show felt very secure and snug and the heel did not slip. Just too small. Hoping the next size up does not prove to be too large. Hate to return.

Based on the look and style of these shoes, which I love - and the fantastic reviews, even from people with foot problems and injuries, I ordered 3 pairs of these as I currently have an issue with my foot. I am having trouble with any shoes that I try to put on. However, The style of the toe box pointing upwards was very painful with my current situation so unfortunately, I had to send all 3 of them back. Maybe when and if my current condition with my injury ever goes away, i can try these cute looking shoes again...I might try a different style of the Alegria shoes...right now, they did not work for me...which made me sad because, I was hoping they would be the miracle shoes that I need right now.

Toe box was wide enough; but depth was too shallow . Also length was too short and heels slipped. Leather was stiff and rubbed up against the side of my foot. Arch support seemed above my natural arch, making the shoe feel a bit uncomfortable. i liked the style and was disappointed in the fit.

I really wanted to love these shoes. I got a 10.5 (I normally wear a 10) hoping that would be comfortable. No dice. The top is tight across the foot. I'm so sad.

I am in between sizes in this shoe. One size is a little snug across the top and the next size up is to loose around my foot. I got these and the Keli and the keli fit me better overall.

I love the look and feel of these shoes - BUT they squeak - EVERYTIME I take a step. Too irritating for me to keep.

So very cute, so very small. Not in the length, more the thickness and the width of toe box. Changing the insoles didn't help the rubbing of the baby toe bunion. So very sad to have to send back...

I normally wear a 6.5 and ordered a 36. They were fine without socks, but they felt a little too snug with socks around the toe area. I’m sure if I exchanged them for a size up, they would’ve been fine. I also have high arches but these seem to only give a moderate arch support. I went back and exchanged them for my regular Danskos. Those offer much more arch support.

I wanted to love these Allegria shoes. Unfortunately, the heel was too big for the narrow heel on my otherwise wide foot. Just found out my feet are now 10 wides, excluding me from thousands of shoes that don't come in wide. I am trying to find shoes with more arch support and heel cushioning (I have a bone spur on my right foot, plus a flattening arch and possible plantar fasciitis), and I will keep searching.

OUCH....leather stiff...crowded little toes.

Pretty comfortable shoe. They did slip on my narrow heals a bit so I returned these and ended up with the original slip resistant slip on Alegria clog and love them. Returned this shoe.

Thought i was going to love this shoe, but alas,I ordered it in the 38 and it was way too small, my toes were rubbing at the tip. Ordered the 39 and my foot is floating in it. the footbed is unbelievably comfortable and has great support, but the sizing is problematic. Had to return both.

I was unable to wear these. Unfortunately I have a wide foot and thick foot. Couldn't get them on.

I wanted to love these but they fit me strangely and uncomfortably. Sending back.

This is a beautiful shoe but unfortunately with my difficult feet they hurt I could hardly walk in them. Maybe with good feet they would work for you.

These are comfortable shoes for my arthritic feet. However, they squeak. It's very annoying and embarrassing when people start to look at what's squeaking. I have several pairs of Alegrias and about half of them squeak. A shoe this expensive shouldn't squeak. Although it doesn't bother me too much, the back does slip off of my heel at times.

The shoe was a medium width and too roomy including my heel slipping when trying them out walking. The front toe curve left out room for the toes to stretch forward when walking and touched the tip of the shoe. Not good when standing and walking for many hours.

When I first put the shoes on they felt uncomfortable, it was small and short in the toe box, and esp. felt it in the right foot. I can't tell if it's the make of the shoe. I like the shoe overall, but ended up returning both sizes because of the discomfort in the toe box. I am willing to order another pair in wide to see if it fits better. The overall shoe fits true to size, just not a good cut in the toe box area of the shoe. The heel of the shoe is a little loose, but not too noticeable like with the Dansko clogs. I was looking forward to wearing the shoes, but disappointed it wasn't as comfortable as I thought.

I'm a public school teacher. I'm on my feet about 90% of my day. These shoes are super comfortable! They look great. My feet feel great at the end of the day. My problem with these beautiful shoes are that they squeak. They started squeaking after the first week of wearing them. (so I couldn't return them) I was so disappointed. I still wear them- and my middle school students make fun of me. (We all laugh.) This brand has lots of other fun shoes that I'd love to buy- but I won't. Because I don't want to squeak everywhere I go.

I absolutely love the looks of these shoes. I first ordered the 8-8½ size but the heel was very sloppy. I reordered the 7-7½ and found that the right foot fit great and the left foot is tight across the arch. I thought if I wore them around the house they would relax but they did not. I hated to return them.
