I thought these shoes were really cute. But for a narrower foot, they just looked too wide. I was looking to replace my Danskos, and these also have a very firm sole. But like Dansko clogs, the heels slip a bit, which I found more uncomfortable in the Alegrias. I also found the fit changed from one style to the next. Luckily for Zappos terms, I ordered several different ones, but they all went back:(.

Love them, truly well made and comfortable. Be AWARE that they run big. I wear a 40 in all other Algeria shoes, but this one was a least a half size too big.

Shoe was cushy and comfortable but I have narrow heels and unfortunately had heel slippage with all 3 sizes I tried on. The classic style have been great for a 12hr shift but not fond of the prints this time around.

If these fit, it would be all five stars...From reading the reviews, I was very excited about these shoes but...many reviewers also cited that they tend to run small. They run small. I am excited to get them in a larger size and hope I don't look like a duck as the toe box is huge. Then again, the wide toe box is probably why they are so comfortable! I am 52 and just going back to work after 20 years, and on my feel 8 hours a day. I really hope the one size up works.

I normally wear a 7 W. Ordered the 37 Wide which felt good except there was too much slippage when I walked. Just a little too long. I tried the 36 but it's way too small. Cute, good support but a little too long for me.

They're comfortable, the only problem is that they flip flops from the back of the heel but it doesn't bother me much.

Whew! What a whirlwind trying to get a good pair of shoes for me for work. After attempting 2 different sizes of the Softwalk-Greys Anatomy, (I really loved the footbed, they were so comfy for my plantar fasciitis) I have found Alegria Debra Professionals. This size was also my 2nd pair, as I had to return my first pair because they were too small. I wear a size 10, sometimes wide (depending on shoe). My original order was a normal size 10 after I had read a review. I felt like Cinderella's step-sister trying to squeeze my foot into that shoe. I called Zappos and spoke with Marcy A. , Zappos Customer Loyalty Team, she was wonderful!! She helped me decide that a 10.5 wide may be better for me. Love them! But here is the caveat, the footbed is good-great, NOT great-excellent. I really preferred the Softwalks, but with that being said, my legs and bottoms of my feet feel pretty good after being on my feet for 12 hrs, literally! Also, they still felt a little tight on the tops of my feet the first couple of days wearing them. My tops of my feet were feeling a little tender, but that subsided after the 3rd or 4th day, of extended wear of 12-13 hours per day! I wished there was a bit more arch support, as I have high arches and have special orthotics even. The nice thing is I am able to remove the footbed and use my personal orthotics. Lastly, they still "move" on my foot. They don't fall off while walking, but they are not like a tennis shoe, all snug and tight. I don't mind that, but I would feel it should be noted.

Now that they are broken in, they feel wonderful! BUT it took quite a long time! The strange part was that they were tight across the TOP of my foot. Also the soles are very thick which also took some adjusting. Pretty happy with them now though!

These were very comfortable shoes in terms of arch support and weren't dissimilar to my Dansko's. But the size was a bit tight. I'm usually a 39, but I'm returning these and ordering a 40.

Super comfortable for my very flat , wide feet. I just couldn’t get past the awkward look of them on my feet. Very cloggy and bulky looking.

I usually wear a 7-7.5, and that was what I ordered. However, the shoes definitely run small. I am still able to wear it but the top cuts into the back of my right foot. I think the 8-8.5 would be too big, so I am going to keep the shoes, and hopefully they will stretch a little. The pattern is super cute (I got the sugar skull), and got lots of compliments. Arch support is amazing, and align hips and back as well. It really helped since I stand on my feet a lot for long periods of time. Great shoes if not for the awkward sizing for me.

Orig bought size 11, too big....returned got size 10-1/2, no problem, quickly solved-next day delivery. They certainly help my feet so I can walk without a cane, yet I find them really heavy. Can't wait to get home and put on slippers (with arch support). I usually wear 10 in sandals, and 10-1/2 in shoes (problem is, stores do not carry 10-1/2!). I don't mind the clunky style...matches my jeans and black pants. Excellent service.

First off LOVE Zappos - have for years. Secondly, really like Alegrias EXCEPT for the squeak. On floors without carpet are the worst. You wont notice this at first but once you warm them up they are the squeakiest. Good thing I don't need to sneak up on anyone. That said, I know there is a fix, like baby powder under the insoles but wish they didn't have to be so noisey. For this purchase I had to get regular width as wide wasn't available. What I learned from an Alegria rep is that "wide" width doesn't apply to across the foot. Regular and wide Alegria shoes are identical. The difference is in the "depth", i.e., the wide inserts are deeper than the regulars so they are higher. Does that make sense? Anyway, came back to order a pair of the wide inserts. Might help with the squeak as well.

I am a CNA on a busy unit on my feet for 12 hrs/day. These feel like slippers compared to Danskos! I am a true 7 1/2 so I opted for the 8. I am giving it only 4 stars because my heel does slip out of the back a little more than it should. However I am okay with it so my toes are not jammed in and have room to breathe. After about 2 months of wear, the pattern is also starting to wear off.

I am keeping this pair. I like the bit of understated sparkle in the design. Not too much for me but a different design than every other black shoe. The footpad seems comfortable and I don’t think I am going to put my orthotic in place if it. Well made! This shoe seems not as clunky as others that I have tried of this brand....Maybe because it is a closed shoe and not a sandal.

Well bummer! The 40's are too big (like my feet were swimmimg in them big) and the 39's are too short. I ordered the regular width in both. The length on the 40's was fine but the shoe overall was just too big. The width on the 39's was much better but my toes were scrunched. It's too bad there isn't a 39 1/2! I walk ALOT in my job....easily 10,000 steps on a shift. The arch support was excellent as I have high arches. I had bunion surgery on my left foot 6 months ago and have tried the Paloma and Dayna (at a local store) and unfortunately it cut right across the incision area. The 40's in that style were perfect. I liked the look of the Debra and felt they were attractive with pants. I was afraid in my size they would look like duck shoes but they didn't at all! I've contemplated the Keli but the reviews for the support aren't great. Zappos will always be my online shoe store of choice though! Their customer service is outstanding!!!!! There is no other place worth shopping!!

I was hoping these would fit my wide feet, but just felt a little too tight around the wide part of my foot (side and even top of foot). I tried a size up and ordered a wide, but still was uncomfortable. The shoes as well look really wide, almost too wide. Even though they were clown shoe looking, if they fit well I would have kept and wore them. Oh well.

I really wanted to keep these Alegrias but my heel kept slipping out - even with socks. The shoe size felt fine inside - maybe if the heel area was more narrow it would stay on better. Thanks Zappos for the great return policy.

Was looking for a comfort walking shoe, and i love the alegria fun patterns. So tried the Debra. Its a well made shoe, but felt bit wide on the sides so shoes looked bit like boats on my foot. I had ordered the Medium width but they were just too wide, so i decided to return.

I’ve never seen such a wide shoe! Other than that I love these shoes. I ordered the medium width because there was no narrow option. But I have very narrow feet, so I’m going to have to send them back. Too bad. I wish they were for me!

Originally I purchased the sprinkle print and the 38’s were too small. Sent back and ordered a 39 in the sprinkle print and one shoe was stretched out and the other was perfect. Sent back and ordered a 3rd pair size 39 in the herbaceous print and they fit perfect.

This is my first pair of Alegria to purchase, I've always worn another brand of clogs for work. I went by the recommended fit calculator when ordering. Although my other brand of shoes I have are a size 41, the recommended fit calculator suggested that I purchase a 40. I wish I would of purchased a 41. Although the shoes are comfortable, my toes touch the end of the shoe when walking.

Very well made. Too wide but good toe space - returning them. Will continue shopping here.
