These shoes are absolutely amazing, seriously. I bought them after a co-worker recommended them and I am absolutely in love; I've never owned a more comfortable pair of shoes. I have a horrible spinal issue and bad knees and ankles but I can work 12 hour shifts up on my feet all day in these shoes and feel 100% comfortable. I would highly recommend these to anyone especially people with long shifts and that do a lot of walking. The only issue I found was that they do run a bit large. I normally wear a 5.5 or 6 and I had to order a 5 in these but the 5 fits great. They do look a bit wide but fit very comfortable and they form to your feet. They are similar to Dansko's where they slip off your heel a little when you walk but you get used to it and you'll never get blisters. Trust me, these shoes are worth it and your body will thank you.

In a word, awesome. The slight heel will improve your posture, and while it's part of what makes this shoe great, it takes a bit of getting used to not turn your ankle. However, that does not tarnish this review, they are amazing shoes and break in well. Did I mention they even have memory foam?

I liked them as soon as I received them, they are cute and feel very comfortable, I have not worn them at work yet though. I read the reviews and listened to the statements about them running large so I ordered the 7-7.5(37) since I normally wear an 8. But I believe they run true to size, these are too tight, I will send them back and order my correct size.

I was worried about purchasing these shoes. They were not cheap but I was willing to pay for comfort and quality. I have very little arch and finding shoes that feel good can be hard at times. I had tried on a pair at the local mall, I really liked the way they felt but but one of shoes did not fit quite right, so I decided I would order from Zappos and try one more pair. I am glad I did. They are true to size and are comfortable. I am a nurse and I am on my feet most of, if not all of my shift 5 days a week and comfort is King. My hospital recently banned the wearing of shoes like Crocs or those without a back and I found the Alegria Debra Professional filled the need and the want very well. I do plan on purchasing several more. I do recommend the purchase of these shoes.

Purchased these shoes for my recent trip to Ireland. They were perfect in all respects...waterproof, warm, comfortable and cute, cute, cute...what's not to love! Received many compliments and I referred everyone to you guys so they could purchase their own pair!

I am a true 9.5 and made the mistake of getting the size 39 (9-9.5). These run smaller than what one would think. I am exchanging these for the size 40 because they are so awesome...awesome enough to extend the funds for two different pair. Unlike Danskos where you have to give them some "wear time" before they are totally comfortable, these are amazing right from the first slip in of your foot. Even though they are pricey, I will always go to these first.

I love these shoes! I wore them immediately after receiving them, because I was in dire need of relief and comfort. I suffer from Posterior Tibial Tendon Dysfunction, which I'd for two years. It's a debilitating condition with no cure. It only gets worse if you cannot control it. I have seen two podiatrists who have tried to help me control it, but with the type of work I do (Floor supervisor) every few months I find myself out on disability. I tried pre-fab and custom orthotics. I even have richie braces. they all worked to a degree, but I would still be in pain, uncomfortable and would still be out of work. I have been told that New Balance sneakers along with these devices should help and they somewhat did. However I would still have bouts with my condition. My Dr. told me to look into purchasing a more supportive New Balance (ugly and manly) or try orthopedic shoes. I thought this can only be horrible. I googled it and the first site had okay looking shoes and selection of something I could wear if I had to, but I love stylish shoes and have a reputation for my unique styles and selection. Well this shoe did not let me down. after working a long 12 hour day, I received and tried more shoes on. I felt instant relief and comfort although one foot was swollen. i had to be to work in a few more hours and knew I was going to wear and break in my new shoes. Well that morning I out them on and the instant comfort returned. I sized down after reading reviews from other customers, but nothing prepared me for what I got. The insole that came with the shoes provided enough support and improved my gait all day. I was so happy. And my co-workers noticed a difference in my walk and fell in love with my shoes. I ordered three pair and am ordering another. I believe these shoes saved my life and my feet because the last convo I had with my Dr. was consider surgery and that I was going to have to do the work and find the shoe that works for me and I found it right online, with little to not much looking or shopping. I would definitely recommend these shoes to anyone with feet/ foot problems. I finally see light at the end of the tunnel. Thank you Algeria!

Amazing. I have been looking at these for a year or more and finally bought them for Christmas. These wipe off quickly, amazing support, comfortable. Huge selection of patterns. What more could you want? I've already bought another pair! If you're not sure about these, order a pair and try them on. I knew immediately my nursing shoe search was OVER.

This style of shoe does not fit my arch. Other wise have enjoyed Alegria products. I am on my feet all day and my hips nor back hurt at end of day.

Love, love this shoe. The only thing I get a wide show & it is a little loose I the heel. It does not feel like a new show. If God sees fit I want another pair.

These are such comfortable nursing shoes. Not the most stylish pair out there, but I don't care because I feel like I'm walking on clouds.

Sorry to say have to send these shoes back. They were pretty. Liked the tooled leather. Think they would be comfortable, just too short. I got wide. They were wide enough just not long enough.

I bought these for my mother-in-law who has the hardest time finding comfortable shoes! She loves them. While she hasn't gone anywhere in them, she has worn them around the house every day since I gave them to her. She is very happy with the shoes...and just loves the butterfly on the heel!

I bought the Debra Professional after the female technician who performed my EEG raved about hers. I don't stand all day like some people who wrote reviews. But,I do experience knee and hip pain. I normally put on sneakers when I walk for exercise during my break at work. I was surprised by how comfortable these shoes are when I forgot to make the change before my walk recently. I bought a pair for my mother for Christmas because she was so taken by them when I visited her at Thanksgiving.

These are the most amazing shoes I have ever owned! I have arthritis in my feet and broke my right foot a couple of years ago. I work on my feet in the restaurant business and for many years I have experienced pain and swelling in my feet after I get off work. After sitting down for even a short period I would have so much pain it made me limp. Thanks to these shoes by Alegria I don't have that pain anymore! I was worried about breaking them in but I didn't have to. They helped my foot pain immediately. I will definitely be buying another pair...or two!

I love these shoes. Wide is wide enough, and the arch support is very good, too. I have tendonitis in my feet and I need plenty of support and comfort; these shoes are great, and they look good, too.

Love these shoes. They are really comfortable and they are great for impact on my knees. They are very well made and love the emboss.

These shoes are very comfortable. I originally ordered a size 37 (based on suggested sizing for size 7) and it seemed big - long but narrow. I placed an order for a size 36 they seemed to small all around. I ended up keeping the 37, even though it seems slightly big, they have broken in well. I wish they had half sizes. The return policy at Zappos made my purchase with return worth it! I have had these shoes for 3 weeks. I ordered these shoes for work (I am a nurse) and would like to purchase a second pair of shoes! These are more comfortable than my Danskos.

I really liked this shoe, but it was too tight across the top of my foot. I ordered wide, but just was enough. I think they would of worked if not for the width, so I will try the Mary Jane's next.

I waitress and used to have foot pain halfway through my shift. These shoes are incredible! My feet no longer hurt. I will continue to buy this brand for the rest of my days!!!!

I know both feet are not the same size, so one fits better than the other. I am a 10-11 wide so I ordered 10.5 ww. Both were comfortable straight from the box and still to this day but right shoe is slightly larger, so I just wear thicker sock. My back was killing me after 5 hours with my Birks, but these are fab. I want more in all styles.

I just received these Debra Allegria's in the patent leather Midnight Garden. I ordered a wide width because my feet are very wide and I don't want my shoes to rub anywehere. These are very comfortable, and although they are a bit big for me, they will be perfectt with thin socks. I may order them in a plain black leather. They are a bit heavy though. That would be my only negative remark.

I wear a 39 in Josef Seibel and an 8½ in Keens; these shoes in a 38 fit me. I have high arches and the insole of this wonderful shoes formed to my feet beautifully. Unfortunately, I also have a moderately high instep which meant that the top of the shoes dug into the top of my feet. Sadly, they are going back for that reason. I do not do break-in periods. The right shoe either fits straight out of the box or it does not and if they hurt after a 10 minute try-on, back they go. I am sad to box these pretties back up. They provide excellent room in the toe box, too.

Calling Code Comfort! Hey there all nurses, these shoes are excellent, awesome, the bomb & all the other adjectives that cover how great something is. I have worn running shoes (good ones) and they were okay. I had the Dansko shoes. They were awful! Go with these Alegria shoe. Great arch support, wide toe box, and not too tall in height. I work 12 hour nights and these are what I will be buying from now on. I purchased one pair and then turned at bought another a few weeks later!

These run large. If you get the lace ups, you can tighten them up, but if you get the slip-ons, by the middle of the day they are slipping off. I am going to try half a size smaller. I love the look and feel.
