I have Palomas in two colors = Super Saturated and Black Magic. I wear the Super Saturated all the time, but I'm still not sure about the Black Magic. The Black Magic is a nicer, softer leather, but the fit is a bit different. There is more "give" to the strap that keeps the shoe secured in place (and this shoe would fly off of my foot if it weren't for the strap), and I have difficulty getting the strap tight enough to stay on without being uncomfortable. My Super Saturated pair are the only comfortable pair of shoes I have right now unless I want to wear socks with my Birkenstock sandals. They are great for my problem feet and have great support, too. On the downside, they are very slick on certain surfaces like the tile flooring in malls and big box stores, and after a month and a half of wear, the shoe makes an odd squeaking sound.

I think Alegria brand has won me over from Dansko brand. There is far less break-in time than Dansko. These shoes are great for those on their feet all day AND moving all day. These are not as great if you're on your feet BUT standing still (ex: grocery store cashier). Otherwise, I love these shoes and decided to keep them for non-work wearing. These are great for all day shopping trips and such.

Beautiful high quality shoes. This is my second pair of Alegrias, and I love them. The only problem I've found with these shoes is they squeak when walking. Not sure if this is because they're all leather or what.

These shoes are adorable and very comfortable. Probably one of the most comfortable shoes I have ever owned. However, there are a couple of issues I have discovered worth mentioning. First, they are very slippery on grass. If you are walking on an uneven grassy area, you need to be very careful. Chasing after little kids in a park, or your backyard, while wearing these shoes is not a good idea. Secondly, I stepped in a hole in the pavement and ended up with a very bad sprained ankle. These shoes have a really high rocker sole - its quite a ways down if your foot tips to the edge. That said, if you don't plan to be in a park a lot, and you watch out for holes, they are extremely cute and comfortable. I just put in an order for the Belle style, which are much lower. I spend a lot of time chasing after my kids, and don't feel very secure in the Palomas after my sprain.

Love the style. I am a school nurse and my little ones love them. The fit is great; however, they sneak - I don't know why.

Sometimes, I don't blend well with Euro Sizing. Sometimes the 38 works, sometimes not. I'm a size 8.5-9 so it's always "iffy" with anyhow. The left shoe for two pair (Coming Up Roses & Woman's Best Friend) seemed short and the right was right. My fear in re-ordering is that the right will now be large, and the left on spot. Zappos is the best though, so I will sort it.

I purchased these for work (I work in retail) and really like them, however I should have not listened to some of the reviews that they run wide. I usually buy a wide shoe because my left foot had four surgeries and the ball of my foot has gotten wider. I did not choose a wide size because people said these had run wide. I should have gotten a wide size but I had the shoe repairman stretch out the left shoe and it fits great now. I am going to order a few more pairs in different colors. I am really happy with these and they kind of remind me of the Creepers that I wore back in my punk rock days in the 80's.

This was my first try with Alegria as I usually wear Dansko. I wear a size 5.5 normally but read that these shoes run large. Unfortunately, the 35 was too tight and the 36 was way too big. Also, the front of the opening in the shoe cut me off in a really bad spot by my toe. Oh well, I tried! Also, this pattern is just ok...kind of on the boring side compared to a lot of the other patterns available.

I think these shoes are very cute and bought them for comfort. I got the snake pewter in 38 because I wear 8-8.5. However, my toes hit the end of the shoe, which I find quite odd since the reviews indicate otherwise that they run true to size. I'm returning them because of they're too short and am afraid if I go up a size, they'll be too big. They are very cute, and I love all of the different designs, although I would prefer them to not be shiny, but I think that if you have no foot problems they will serve you well. They are quite "chunky" looking but these days, that's considered stylish. I really wish they had fit me because I believe I would've put them to a lot of wear and use.

These shoes fit perfectly for my feet, and have the support my foot surgeon likes, so I am very bummed that after the second wearing the pewter color is rubbing off at the toes. They're going back. :(

Nice, cute shoe! I want to wear them barefoot and the sides are stiff (I have the patent leather). But my feet are adjusting with the initial help of band aids. Great negative heel shoe that does not look like one at all!

I am in retail and am on my feet for many hours straight. I never feel like I have to sit down when I am wearing these shoes. No aches or pains with them whatsoever. I do, however, wish they were not so wide. I have an average width foot, so they are a little wide inside but that is better than too snug. But they also have extra width on the outside (near outer seam) making them appear a bit clownish...a co-worker remarked that they looked like something right out of Willy Wonka. Hm...great.

I'm dinging this on comfort because it's not orthotic friendly as stated by Zappos. This shoe shows up when you check the "orthotic friendly" box. While it's true that there is a removable insole, the insole has a groove at the toe and heel end that locks into a hard plastic rib inside the shoe. My orthotic covered the rib in the heel, but not the rib in the toe box, so if I tried to wear these with my orthotics, my toes would hit that hard plastic rib. If you're not needing to insert orthotics, this shoe would be great, but for me, can't use it. Also - while the button looks like it's metal, it's plastic. Not sure how it will hold up re: scratching and etc.

Shoes are very comfortable and true to size (bought a 39 for a size 9). However - these are the loudest shoes I own! They squeak something awful, and as near as I can tell it's from the cork footbed rubbing against a plastic bumper in the heel that holds the footbed in place. I like the shoes, they're just definitely not for anyone who cares to be stealthy! Or go unnoticed.

The shoes were a little narrower in the front than I expected from the style, but once I wore them a couple of times, they stretched and now fit perfectly. I had a little rubbing on the sides with the inside seams the first day, but not any longer. They fit to your foot and they are very comfortable, casual but stylish. Great for that time of year where you have to transition from boots to sandals.

I love the look and feel of these on my feet for comfort in the late winter/early spring here in MN. I am an elementary teacher with arthritis in my low back and knees, so lately I have been needing shoes with more cushion in them. These fit the bill for that. The way the sole is shaped for walking also helps with the comfort. My only two complaints are: (1) they are really, really HOT! They would be much better if they had some vent holes (at least for me) and (2) they are a bit stiff. The stiffness is okay with tights or socks, but I don't think I would dare wear them barefooted for fear of blisters and overheating. I am thinking of taking them to a shoe repair place to see if they can add vent holes...

Having rheumatoid arthritis for many years and having both my feet reconstructed, I have struggled to find comfortable shoes. Usually comfort for me means very little style. Now I am not only comfortable, but in the past week, I have had multiple people say, "I love your shoes!" I have been wearing the Paloma multi purple snake ones. To have people admire my shoes and be comfortable has made me very happy. Alegrias are great!

These shoes are adorable, but not as comfy as my all-time favorites, my Bellas. The strap is a little stiff on my high instep.

I normally wear a 38/7.5, but as suggested here and by several others, I ordered the 37 (7-7.5). I found it was too short on my foot. Love the shoes, but need my true size 38.

I wear a ladies 7 and the 37 fits well. They feel great and might be more comfortable than clogs as the sole is cushier. They are kind of like skis on carpet because they are flat on the bottom. The little texture and the man made material kept them from being slippery on the wood floors.

So far the jury is out; I just got these today, and wore them half a day at work. They are nice looking shoes that are well-made and provide lots of support. But the foot bed is so thick that my feet push forward. The next size up would be too long. When I took the footbed out, the length was fine. I am hoping that the footbed will mold to my feet. Zappos' VIP One Day Delivery rocks.

A long time Dansko wearer, I wanted to try something new and I had read several positive reviews about this shoe. Although I have wide feet, I have not had difficulty with Dansko shoes. However, the Paoloma is too narrow for my wide feet. These shoes have moderate arch support, appropriate rocker motion, and style. Unfortunately, you need a wide shoe, this may not fit you.

These shoes are both good and bad. Good because they come in so many patterns and go with so many clothes -- lots of compliments! Bad because after less than 6 months, I've had 2 pair get such a squeak that heads turn. The price is too high to discard shoes. I won't be back for anymore Palomas even though they were comfortable from day one. What a disappointment.

Cute shoes - but they squeak! I own three pair and they're all fairly new and all fairly squeaky! Not sure if this is a problem with my shoes specifically or just an Alegria quirk.

These shoes are super comfortable and sparkly. I had to order one size bigger, but they worked out fine. They are kind of silly to wear with socks, but barefoot they are great!
