Love the color. Love the style. One of the straps "buckled". Weird. Bothered me that it did not lay flat across the top of one foot.

These shoes are so cute but if you’re looking for a wide shoe, these wides aren’t very wide. I kept them because I was desperate but it took a long time to get used to the feel of them. They’re kind of hard to walk in because of the sole being so thick and shaped different than any shoe I’ve ever had. I was wearing Birkenstock Mary Janes before this and they’re so much more comfortable and last forever.

I’ve had re-reconstructive surgery and tried several different shoes nothing helped but these so far are comfortable and don’t hurt (as my feet have a mind of their own ?)!!

I just receieved my Alegria Paloma Mary Janes and feel satisfied with these shoes! They are very comfortable and the fit is right on. I had fast delivery on the third day I received them. Thank you Zappos!

I wear a size 37 in other Alegria styles, but a 38 in the Paloma. It is a bit large but I can adjust the velcro straps to fit tightly. I like the support of this shoe and the pattern, Delicut. Overall, I like these shoes.

These are great looking shoes. Unfortunately, they did not work for me. The top strap cut into my foot, and the area at the base of my toes also cut into my foot. My toes felt cramped in the shoes, and the heel slipped. I could not tighten the strap enough to stop my heel from slipping, and when it was tight, it hurt my feet. The front part of my foot is fairly wide, though not wide enough usually to wear a wide width shoe. I have a narrow heel. The leather on these shoes is very stiff, so I did not think they would soften up enough for me to wear comfortably. I need arch support, which these shoes had. My feet are also picky about shoes, and are on the sensitive side. I have a hard time finding shoes that fit comfortably, and have the arch support I need for my back, hip and knee problems.

I wear a solid 9.5 regular. I first ordered the 9-9.5 which was too small. I ordered the 10 which fits, but on the loose side. I don't understand why there wasn't a 9.5 available (rather than a 9-9.5). The shoe is very comfortable, but a little "clunky" looking. I think more comfortable shows, however, tend to be made this way (not form fitting, larger looking on the foot).

I love the style and pattern of this shoe, which I ordered in a wide to see how it fit. I seem to be between a regular and wide width in Alegrias, the wide in this shoe is just too wide though the front of the shoe for my foot, it feels too sloppy, even with socks.

Alegria are my go-to shoes, and I own a lot of them! The Paloma is one of my favorite styles, even though the Mary Jane style is not the most practical for Midwest winters! I love all of the great colors and patterns that the Alegrias come in, and this one is no exception. The colors are primarily blue and green with a black pattern running through. I have noticed that the front of the left shoe tends to rub a little on my small bunion, so if you have bunions, you might like to consider a different style than the Paloma. The soles are firm without a lot of give, like some clogs, so if you need a flexible sole, they are also not for you.

I love these because the textured “delicut” design adds a touch of class that makes my outfit feel dresses up. If I have to wear black shoes it’s nice to have a little style. They have a good arch support but not as good as Birkenstock but few shoes do. I am a Birkenstock faithful but I needed a closed toe winter shoe and their choices for women are not very stylist. Algeria is the next best options for support and comfort.

These shoes have the potential of being extremely comfortable with a super cushy yet supportive footbed. Unfortunately, the arch falls just slightly forward from where it should on my foot when I ordered a shoe long enough that my toes don't hit the end. For someone with a slightly different shaped foot I think these would be amazing. One other downside, they are quite bulky so when you get to a size 12 it starts to look a little ridiculous.

These shoes have an amazing amount of support for my arches & metatarsals! That said, they do take quite some time to break in. I have narrow feet and need to pull the top strap fairly tight. Unfortunately, when they are tight, they hurt the top of my foot. I’ve learned to make them slightly looser and they aren’t flipping off my heels. Yay! Good quality & look built to last a long time...

I have very difficult feet; high arches, bone spurs, arthritis... and find it hard to find work shoes. The comfort level of the issues is off the chart. And although they are not my style, I would have worn them anyway. unfortunately, the toe box was too shallow to accommodate my hammer toe. Sad that they didn’t work for me; amazing comfort and quality.

I wear a 7.5, so ordered the 37 first. My toes were touching the top, so I had to return and get the 38, which fit perfectly. Very comfortable and lightweight. I feel it supports my feet which have many issues.

I have a few pairs of Alegria shoes and I love them all. When I spotted the Claddagh on this pair I just couldn't resist, how could any Irish girl?! They are comfortable right out of the box. The only draw back is that my heel must be just a tad narrow so the back feels a smidge loose. This may be a slight drawback with stockings butI don't think this will be a problem with socks. I love these shoes.

These shoes fit perfectly, but I am ordering a different pair of the same size because of an odd flaw. The velcro on the bottom strap is sewn on in a way that allows it to hang over the edge of the strap, so the plastic edge cuts bare skin and snags stockings, rendering them unwearable. The first pair I ordered, which were a size too small, did NOT have this flaw, so I am re-ordering the larger size in hopes that the new pair will not scratch.

I really wanted this color. However even after ordering a second pair in hopes of a different material run , no luck. There is a round white circle in this pattern which stands out so much and in the most conspicuous places. Just can not overlook it

I typically wear a 43 in Euro, but this brand tends to run larger, so whether purchasing a sandal or closed toe shoe a 42 fits well. I purchased this shoe in the black leather and rainbow connection. The black leather is softer and feels better with my problem toe. The printed versions tends to be stiffer and not quite as giving, but overall still acceptable. I typically wear an orthotic, but have been able to wear this shoe all day with absolutely no pain in my toe or fatigue in my feet; it has been amazing. The rocker and thicker platform is what makes the difference. The rocker also helps if you have toe joint pain which is pretty significant in my one foot. It helps position the foot where the pain is not noticeable.

These shoes are so adorable!!! They have a very cushy insole!!!! I so wanted them to work as I need comfortable shoes. I own lots of Danskos and I wanted an alternative that isn't so heavy. Unfortunately, my high instep feet didn't work with this style. The shoe pressed down on my foot and I knew they wouldn't work for me!!!! Thanks to Zappos I had no issue returning the shoes. I do hope they work for others who don't have the high instep like I do!!!! They look so cute!!! It's too bad!!!!

Felt a half Smaller than I would usually wear.

I love Alegria shoes. I have 3 pairs and I wear them constantly. My only complaint is that the hook and loop closures seem to lose their grip over time. I'm not sure this can be repaired but it pains me to spend so much money on? shoes that lose the ability to close around the foot.

Well, okay, these might be adorable in 5-6-7 sizes but in a 10, nope. They looked clunky and heavy, not even slightly feminine. I ordered my usual size and they were too short, by about half a size. I tried them on with thin socks, so, anything heavier would have been torture to my toes. These shoes are beautifully made, great materials, fantastic workmanship, sturdy. If they work for you, you will have them for a very long time. I tried the ones called "Workmanship" and they are black, covered with foil-shiny flowers. Very cute and a very nice toe shape, not pointy. The over-strap fits well, secures with velcro. I was hoping they'd work, but no.

loved this shoe but 39 fit much better 40 was to large.

I spent hours trying to decided what size to order in these, and landed on my true size. I'm a 7.5 in all shoes except sneakers (then I'm an 8), and a 38 in Birkenstocks. But I went with the 37 in these after reading that all that most that ordered their true size were happy they had. I was so sad when they arrived and were too small for my liking. My toe is at the very end, and hits the front of the shoe when I walk. I then ordered the 38, and it's a bit too big. I really need a 37.5, but will likely keep the 38, because with the strap Velcroed tight they don't seem to rub and I'm guess my foot will swell when wearing them and being on my feet all day. in the end a 4 over all, because this whole sizing thing has been a pain. A 5 on comfort, because they are the most comfortable thing I've ever had on my feet. A 3 on style, because we all know they're so ugly their cute!

These shoes would have been awesome except that apparently the current Paloma style of shoe is just not made for my foot. I typically wear a 36 and both the width and length were perfect. The problem is that the top of the shoe dug into the top of my foot (below the big toe). There wasn't enough "height" in the toe box for me. I ordered several different pairs of the Paloma and had the same problem with each. This was disappointing as I just wore out a pair of Algeria Paloma, size 36 that fit me perfectly and did not dig in. So something apparently changed in their sizing. I did however, find that the Algeria "Kourtney" worked in the correct size.
