I love that this shoe comes in a size 43 since I live in the size-42-is-often-not-large-enough land of torment since most shoes stop at 42 . . . IF they go that large (don't get me started about socks ending at size 10. grrr). I like it, don't love it 'cause the arch hits me kinda wrong. But hey, it fits, with adjustable straps. This is more of a 3-hour-out shoe, not an all day for moi. I love the wacky Dias de la Muerto pattern!

I really wanted to like these shoes. They are cute and have great arch support, but there are just a wee bit snug.

I wear a 10 or 10.5 wide, so had to size up per their sizing. Way too long, will have to return. The cushion/sole was too hard, like Danskos, so these are not comfortable enough for me to wear all day. I would also like for these to have bit of tread, far to slippery to wear in winter weather. Love the style though very attractive shoe.

I love this shoe however it seems to run larger and unfortunately is not available in blue a half size smaller.

Lovely, pretty shoes. They were just too wide for me.

I was careless about checking the size first time I ordered (8-8.5) and did not notice that it was a 38 and way too small. So I ordered a 39, which is normally perfect and it's still a bit short, so be careful when ordering. I wear an 8 in most shoes, but this was a 9 and still kinda small. Other than that, very happy with them.

The style was a good fit but too clunky in appearance for my taste.

The shoes were attractive, but on the inside left side, the top of the shoe cut into my foot. The other side felt okay. When I measured the side panel of each shoe, the left side was a bit higher - which caused the problem. A different pair may have been fine, but I'd found a replacement. Had to return.

These fit fine, but, the toe that goes up is a little unsettling. It is unbalancing for this 77 year old. I have to walk slower, being sure I'm centered on my feet.

Liked the fit and look, but the sole was very rounded in the back and made me feel tippy when walking

I bought these shoes in frustration - I have a very wide forefoot, with a curly pinky toe to boot, and nothing has been wide enough to support my foot all the way across. Even though I buy all wide shoes, that toe wants to slide over the edge. However, if I buy extra-wide shoes, they generally fall off, due to my relatively narrow heel. I also need good, strong arch support. Mainly I wear Danskos and Birkenstocks, but it's too cold for sandals, and the clogs don't look great with all these ankle length pants everyone has today. These Allegria shoes have made my pinky toe and my arches very happy. I'm generally not a fan of having a strap across foot near the ankle, which is why I didn't give 5 stars for comfort or for style. I figured, though, the strap was the price I'd have to pay to get the forefoot wide enough and still keep the shoe on my foot. At first, the strap really bugged me, but it has softened up quickly. I think the butterfly on the sole is a little cheesy, but I do like the added height and support the sole gives me. All in all, these shoes are definitely what I hoped for, which was something I can wear to work (I'm a teacher) and look decent enough while taking care of my problem feet. The very features that make them work well for me are the things that make them less stylish, but I'm at an age where I'm OK with that.

I have severe plantar fasc. I use custom orthotics and bought these shoes to accomodate the orthotic inserts. They did fit nicely. I felt the shoe style was awkward and clown like. I enjoy Dansko styles and will return these. They were very comfortable though!

Love these shirts. Have been wearing them for over 8 years. Very comfortable wearing them on hard floors

The fit was very nice. True to width & length. A bit less feminine for Mary Jane style, but very comfortable.

I have orthotics and hoped they would work well with these shoes. The shoes original insole, however, is very thick, cushioned, and has added support at the toe area. I found my orthotics did not support my foot well enough. I tried them on with the original insole and they are very comfortable. I'm sorry they won't work for me.

I wear an AFO. Until I found Alegria Paloma, I thought I'd never wear cute shoes, again. These are just about perfect for summer! I'll purchase another style, in the future.

I had to return these. I have been wearing Alegria shoes for work (server/bartend) for almost a decade now. I've tried the Bella, Dayna and Paloma's. While they were all comfortable for being on your feet for hours, I found the Paloma to be the best all around (height, support, weight and construction). About a year ago I decided to replace my Paloma's with a new pair and ordered a black design that was on sale. They fit a lot smaller and narrower in the toe box area than my previous ones. My toes were not scrunched by any means but they'd hit the end of the shoe and my big toe seemed to hit the top of the shoe. If I didn't keep up with keeping my toe nails super short then it was even worse. The tips of my toes would ache after work even though I would wear soft padded cotton socks. Finally I had enough and decided to order the same exact design Paloma's of the ones I had years ago thinking they would fit different than the newer ones I had gotten. Well the new ones fit just as snug so I came to the conclusion that they must have slightly changed their measurements. After reading some reviews and deciding if I should order the next size up OR order the "wide" version, I realized I could order new inserts in "wide" and that they fit right into your regular sized width shoe! So I got to keep my Paloma's that I had ordered a year ago and replaced the insole with the wide ones and they are perfect now. The wide insoles are very slightly skinnier which allows more height in the toe box for my toes. Also the insoles are a light brown color instead of gray like some of the insoles are and for some reason I find the brown insoles to be more comfortable once worn in than the gray colored ones. For reference I usually wear a 7-7.5 shoe and average to skinny width feet. I ordered the 37 in these and my previous Alegria shoes. I have never needed a "wide" shoe but for these from now on I will be ordering the wide version.

The fit and size were fine, but the sole is too high, so I am returning both in this style, have already ordered Belle Upgrade, which has a lower sole. I'll order another color of Belle, if one becomes available again.

Nice design. Like the leather inner lining, great arch support and the adjustable strap. Regarding fit and sizing: I usually wear US 10.5 -11.0 or EU 42-43. I bought the Paloma in EU 42. I can feel light pressure on the very tip of my right big toe. It's not painful and I hope that part will stretch over time. Otherwise there seems to be ample room in the toe box width wise. Overall the shoe feels a bit wider but the adjustable strap is a plus.

These shoes are perfect for my arthritic feet. I have RA and it was getting to the point I could barely walk for any length of time. It took about a week to get use to the shoes. Now it is wonderful.
