Love my Alegria shoes! They are so comfortable and of course I think the Elephants are great especially since they are the mascot of my alma mater! These shoes have so many cute options. I'm thinking about another pair.

These shoes are particularly good if you have foot problems (metatarsal/arthritis). Alegria shoes have a non bending, rocker sole which propels you forward. The cushioning on the inside is extremely thick and bouncy like no other shoes. The strap on the Paloma makes this shoe very secure. It is a funky look and I get so many compliments. I have these shoes in four colors as they are the only shoes I can wear. They are definitely a step up from black, clunky, rubber soled comfort shoes (you know what I mean!). I even have sandals by Alegria. These shoes are reasonably priced and will last about two years if you alternate. I love them!

I have 3 pairs of Paloma: blue tile, brown pull-up, & the lady walking with poodle. Love them! They are unique looking & I've had a lot of positive comments. At 64 years old & dealing with back & leg pain, I can't wear heels anymore; and I'm only 5' tall! The little lift Alegria shoes offer, along with the comfort, is heavenly. I just ordered a pair of the Kleo sandals; they are wonderful.

Super comfy! Had been wearing Sanita maryjane style shoes for work and though they were better than athletic shoes, I still had leg and foot pain. Got these in the metallic rose (because I love anything shiny!) and based on all the reviews, I expected no real break in period. Ouch. The first time I wore them I had to go shopping. By the end of the day I was walking on the backs of the shoes because I had fat blisters. Haha for thinking I could wear them like that right out of the box! Second time I wore them for a normal day of work and still got blisters and they were a tiny bit snug still, but I was very happy. Third time, I wore them at a night out after work and ended up partying all night in them! Walked miles in them from bar to bar. Had small blisters the next day, but they were broken in! Now I wear them every day to work and seriously, they are the most comfortable shoe ever! I need more colors and styles! Get compliments on them all the time. So cute!

I have gotten more compliments on this shoe than any I have ever owned. I have plantar fasciitis and this shoe is so comfortable. The cute factor is just a bonus, I am all about function and comfort as I am on my feet a lot. Best for those with wide feet.

I love these shoes. I admit, at first I had a little blister on the back of my heel, and some irritation at the buckle site. But after a couple wearings all that is gone and these offer support, comfort all day long. They are funky looking but I love all the designs offered!

I put these on as soon as I got them, and loved them immediately! In addition to being super cool looking, they are incredibly comfortable and supportive. I ended up casually biking with my nine year old and playing soccer in the front yard while wearing these shoes. They felt great. A fun dash of color and style, too.

I love this shoe and I don't say this often. It has great arch support and, unlike most shoes that are this supportive, it is cute, stylish, and a little bit funky. I enjoyed wearing it on a recent trip to Italy on uneven streets and sidewalks and it held up very well and so did my feet. I plan to get the Alegria sandal next for summer.

I love these shoes! They're not only cute but comfortable too. I used to come home from work with my back and feet hurting since I'm on my feet all day. Since wearing the Palomas my feet and back hardly hurt. I recommend these shoes for anyone who has back problems but still wants to look cute!

I have a very high arch so finding shoes that are comfortable after being on my feet for 12 hours has been a challenge. I thought that Dansko's were the answer to my prayers until I purchased my first pair of Alegria's. I still love my Dansko's but would rate Alergia's higher due to their soft comfortable inner soles.

I love these shoes. I am still breaking them in (which I was warned takes about 2 weeks), and have blisters, but the support outweighs the blisters. I am on my feet a lot at trade shows, so support is a #1 priority for my feet and back. I also have the Dayna style which took no breaking in and I actually think are a little more comfortable. But I love this pink!

I just wore these shoes walking all over Holland the last 2 weeks. They were very comfortable and look great. I received a lot of compliments, both from the natives and fellow travelers.

I LOVE these shoes!! They are my instant favorite. They are so comfortable and go with almost anything I wear. The footbed is like I am floating on clouds. They are the only shoes I forget to take off when I am home. I often go barefoot around the house, but I don't always think to take these off because they are so comfortable. The only downside I would say is that in an overly heated indoor environment or on a very warm day, sometimes my feet get hot wearing these. It isn't really a problem: I just ordered my second pair of Alegrias, totally open sandals, and I imagine I will just wear those on warm days. Seriously. I feel like I could get rid of most of the rest of my shoes now that I have these and wear them all the time. BTW, some people say that they are wide, but I find that they are just right. I don't have particularly wide feet, but I hate it when shoes cramp my toes. These totally don't cramp my toes, and they don't slip around on my foot either. They're just great.

I got these in the heart pattern and they are the cutest shoes I ever saw! I teach first grade and of course, my girls love them, but my friends all loved them too. Super comfortable. I've tried Ecco, Dansko, Naot, Clarks, Memphisto, and these are equally comfy!

This is my first pair of Algeria shoes with an enclosed back. Due to an old injury to my left foot several years ago, I was unable to wear a regular shoe, I have several pairs of the happy shoes...all with open back, or sandals. I absolutely love these shoes, purchased because of the color! I have since bought two more pairs of shoes with the enclosed heel. Nice fit, a little roomy...don't have to go to wide width.

These shoes are not only beautifully colorful but also very comfortable. The colors are as bright as they appear and I like the way they're made to fit the average human foot.

Good shoes. They feel good, have good arch support and look good. I've received many compliments on them--though my husband and daughter aren't too sure about them. I tell them that I have a party on my feet. (smile) I mostly wear them without socks, but would like to find a sock that looks good with them. I plan to wear them with tights and solid color dresses for work.

A friend introduced me to Alegria. These shoes are fabulous! I now own 4 pairs of Alegria - 2 of them are the Paloma style. I wear these every day - even on Sunday to church. Thanks, Zappos!

I love my Alegria Paloma's. They are incredibly comfortable, and stylish. As a nurse I need comfort and something that can stand up to a long long day and this shoe delivers. Bonus - they were comfortable right out of the box and they accepted my orthotic inserts without protest. I like that I can adjust the velcro strap because, hey, face it, after about 6 hours into my shift my feet need a little more space and once again these shoes rise to the challenge. I also like the fact that I can replace the insoles. I love them, and will buy more since there are many many different kinds of Alegria shoes to choose from. No need to get bored with my footwear! I also love Zappos shipping and return policy. It makes getting the right style and fit easy and convenient. The customer service can't be beat either. Kudos to Zappos and Alegria!

Ok so here is my follow up review. I wear a size 8. The first pair I ordered was a 38. Tried em on and my big toe was hitting the front of the shoe. This was with no socks on just a nylon footie. So back they went. I decided to order the 39. The fit is much better for me. With socks or thick tights these shoes will work great. I went back and looked through all my euro size shoes, they are all 39's. However in US shoes I always wear an 8. Go figure? I will not hesitate to buy another pair of this brand. The leather is a little stiff but I think it will soften up. The padding is perfection and they offer a nice steady footing. I bought the pop hearts and they are way cute!

Wow, just wow. I have searched and search for a shoe that is as comfortable as this one is. I have very painful feet (arthritis I think, and I'm 31) all the time! All. The. Time. No shoe seemed to work for me. I am a flight attendant and am usually on my feet 12+ hours a day. I have tried every comfy shoe brand you can come up with. Thank you Zappos for your easy returns cause I have sent back a lot. Not any more. This shoe is amazing. The moment I slipped it on I thought, Oh, I don't hate it. Good sign! So I decided to take them with me and just try on the plane for a few mins. Well, 8 hours later I still had them on and was hooked. I figured I'd need to break them in, but 3 days later they are still as comfy as the first day. And best of all, when I took them off after a 13 hour duty day my feet felt great! I am shocked and amazed at these shoes. I am ordering another pair to have as a back up in case something happens to one. The toe box is larger, plenty of space for my toes to move. No stress on the ball of my foot and great support. I HIGHLY recommend these to everyone, especially if you have foot pain.

Love these shoes. I have many problems with my feet and cannot wear many shoes. Mostly dansko and birkenstock. These are great for work, I am a nurse and on my feet a lot. they look great with all pants, bought the brown as well.
