I am a teacher who is on her feet all day long. I have had a bunion surgery that did not heal properly; I also have arthritis in both toes and a flat foot. These shoes are like heaven. They are soft, comfortable, and cute, too. I get compliments every time I wear them. I am so happy to have found a shoe that works for my feet!

I also like the Alegria Belle and Keli styles. Dansko clogs are good, too.

Really cute shoe, comfy to wear but not as comfy as another version of the strapped Mary Jane, because it is tighter in the top area of the toe box (towards the ankle). I really do enjoy them and love the tiny bit of sparkle in the patent. Great for lots of cobblestone street walking as they are very stable.

These are so quirky and yes even comfortable. I needed a padded sole to cushion my foot and these fit the bill. I wish the leather was just a little softer but the fit. Keep in mind they are designed to be a little loose but not so loose they fall off. Fits true to size.

So far so good. Comfortable out of box. Brown magic color a good neutral and has cute gold metallic stitching not so obvious from the picture. I have a high instep and tendonitis and these shoes seem to have enough support so I can avoid using orthotics. Fit is true to size. Wide toe box which I like.

This shoe is great if you have foot problems (per my MD, really good if you have rheumatoid arthritis) and it's cute, too. I usually go 1/2 size up to fit my orthotics; in this case I stayed with my normal size and the orthotics fit fine.

Cozy cardi! This is a rather boxy, cozy cardigan. I'm 5 foot 8 and while I have a tiny waist, I am broad in the shoulders so tend to automatically get large in cardigans, but the large on this was HUGE... I returned it and got a medium, but I could have gone down to a small I bet. Still, very cozy and I like it. Covers the butt and front so you can wear it respectably ;) with leggings. It is a waffle-weave, so it isn't luxuriously soft or anything, but it isn't coarse. The waffle weave also means it isn't overly warm for a sweater of this volume. If this was cashmere or something, it would be unwearable for me unless I was in the arctic. :) It has held up so far to being manhandled by me on many dog walks with a crossbody bag across it. So far, it has laundered well and still looks new. I've had it about 6 weeks and it's gone through the wash a few times at this point.

Cute shoes, and very comfortable with one personal exception. All Alegrias pinch my second and third toes because of the toebox curve of their shoes. I had a double bunionectony years ago, and my big toes came away a good half inch shorter than my second and third toes. The same Dr. put casts on both legs up to my knees for six weeks! Anyway, I cannot wear these cute shoes comfortably. There's a name for the second toe being longer...other than "bossy." If all of your toes are in proportion, you will probably adore this brand. You will have fun wearing them. Maybe I'll hang them on the wall and admire them as works of art. I still have bunions! Cheers! Zappos gets my vote. It's hard shopping, waiting and returning and more waiting. Zappos takes the pain out of the returns with free shipping. Thank you Zappos!

I love these shoes and may need more! I was worried they wouldn't be flexible enough to be comfortable but they are great and the Velcro strap is really nice.

These shoes are cute and comfortable. The only thing is when I wear them without socks the sides bother my ankles. But other then that they are amazing.

My second pair of Alegria shoes, though the first ones are thongs. I decided to try these in a 9 regular and wide as I have a bad bunion on one foot. The wide width is perfect. They are so comfortable and kind of "ugly cute" if that makes sense. I think I will be wearing these forever - they are a quality product.

I have mad love for this brand of shoes. They are the only shoes I can wear without an orthotic. I have recently developed plantar fasciitis in one foot, along with a bone spur, and neuromas in both feet. These are the only brand of shoes that feel perfect for every problem I have. I did order these from Alegria's site because I wanted the pewter black tumble in a wide option, and I couldn't get them on here, but my other Alegria's were purchased on Zappos. I wear an 8-8.5 and I have the Bella in a 38 and I feel that its a tad short, esp with socks, so I ordered the 39. They are looser with bare feet but perfect with socks, esp thick winter socks. I love the color too, because I can wear them with anything. This is my fourth pair of Alegrias and I hope to buy more! I prefer a mary jane style because I have a very high arch and sometimes regular shoes can be hard to put on or feel snug, and I can custom fit a mary jane. The velcro stays put as well with plenty of room.

I love Alegrias! I spent a lot of time finding the right black shoe for work. Went and tried on many styles at stores. I have the Debra style ones but they were the wrong color. I found this Mary Jane style to be the best for me because I walk and stand a lot at my job. The strap really holds my feet in the shoe very well! And I come home from work each day with happy feet! There is nothing worse then having aching feet after a long day on them! These shoes are a great investment! You can buy new insoles after a time and it gives you a whole new shoe!

Fabulous, wonderful, quality, cute and great price all wrapped up in one shoe. I have diabetic neuropathy and these shoes are perfect. I like to be on trend and take great care in my selection of clothes. I bought these in black, brown and a patent black print. I wear them with maxi skirts, jeans, crop and ankle pants etc. If you are looking for sexy these are not the shoe. These are absolutely funky cute.

These are great! I have haa a ton of compliments and if I didn't have to take them off, I wouldn't. I'd love to buy more in other colors...over time I will. The footbed is amazing and replacable, which is a plus! I wear a 11 generally in womens shoes, the 41 is plenty big. They do stretch a bit over time. I thought they were a bit snug on one foot when I got them, but with just a week or so of wear (and not uncomfortable wear), they are perfect!

Ordered a pair of multi-colored flowered Alegria Paloma's and liked them very much! They were comfortable, supportive, and very cute on my size 11 W feet. For some reason, this pair was not wide enough even in the wide width? Would keep except for that.

Working in a hair salon, standing on your feet all day. These shoes are very comfortable. My feet don't hurt after 8 hours. Love them!

I got the charcoal patent Alegria Paloma with the rhinestone skulls. When they first arrived they were true to size as far as length and width but very tight across the top of my foot and cut into the back of my feet along the back edge. I installed some padding to the back and that took care of that problem and continued use has stretched the tops. My work day is about 12 hours where I spend about 8 hours straight on my feet so was looking for comfort and other reviews convinced me to give these a try. I have worn them for about 48 hours now (12 hours at a time). They no longer cause pain to wear and are just beginning to be comfortable. At the end of the day my feet feel pretty good.

Super cute and super comfortable. I don't usually spend this much on shoes but I can tell they'll last a long time. I believe it was a wise investment.

I love these shoes, they are super comfortable for my long hours on my feet. stylish for my job. The only complaint I have is the strap across the top. I get blisters from it if I don't wear socks.

I love these shoes! I have very arthritic feet and my doctor has recommended stiff soled shoes. An online search led me to Alegria shoes and I am hooked! They are very comfortable to wear, even barefoot as the material of the footbed seems to wick away moisture. I have a wide foot and the regular width fits me perfectly.

Well made shoe. Comfortable; however, very tight on the top of my foot. Going to try this shoe in wide.

These shoes are hands down the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn. And, now I can walk again after several years of only hobbling along. I have hallux limitus which "hella limits" one's ability to get around in addition to causing constant pain. These shoes with the rigid rocker sole propels one's stride forward without the need to bend at the MTP joint. The toe box is roomy with absolutely no stress points. Have contacted Alegria to see if they can design a hiking shoe along this line with more of a Keen-like heavy tread for trails. This shoe actually will work on a light trail but they're really too nice to get scuffed and dusty. But, the shoes are so great they just keep me moving - sidewalk to trail. I may have to order another style or finish that would be more suitable until those Alegria trail shoes are a reality. The shoe runs a little short. I wear a 9 1/2 but ordered the 40. I also went with the Wide for the freedom across the top of my foot. I have high arches and these were supportive enough for me.

I have 3 pairs of the Alegria Paloma. Obviously, I like the fit and look very much. They do have a "cute" look especially those that are prints. The solid colors are not as conspicuous. This model is super comfortable and is a good substitute for clogs. It's easier walking than clogs (about the same standing) and because I have a high instep an adjustable strap like this is better than clogs that are not adjustable. I wear a 37 in this style and a 38 in most; however, they explain that their 37 is 7-71/2 and I find them very true to that size. Overall highly recommended!
