I love the Paloma shoe and have another pair. I didn't like the pattern on this shoe so I will return and select another one. I have "problem" feet and the Alegria is a problem solver for aching knees and hips. AND, a great big thanks to Zappos for their return policy :)

I got the earthen color and love it! Years ago, I asked a cashier about her beautiful and very interesting looking shoes..She told me they were Alegria... Back then I though kind of expensive, but now that I have struggled with foot problems, find that cost doesn't matter so much, just comfort.. With these shoes, I get comfort and a fashionable, good looking shoe, that I now get compliments on... The earthen color, goes well with jeans and can dress up or down..

I love these shoes. So comfortable. My only complaint is that one of the peace medallions fell off :(. I couldn't reattach it so I just took the other one off. How I wish it could have stayed on.

Oh, how I love this shoe! So comfortable and stable! I could wear them right out of the box and I've been wearing them for days. Worth every penny. I have 2 pair of these wonderful shoes and will buy more!

I ordered two sizes in this shoe. They are comfortable and relieve the "problem knee" I'm plagued with in other shoes. I kept the larger size 41, even though I liked the print on the size 40. The sizing charts all pointed to a size 40 for me, but in this shoe a size up is the better fit.

Have worn Dansko's for the last 15 years. I'm a nurse who works 12 hours shifts, and need A shoe with arch support. I'm not sure if my feet changed, or Dansko changed their shoe, but my feet were not comfortable anymore in them. Ordered a 38 in the Paloma, very comfortable, except my toes on my right foot felt tight in the toe box. Did some research, decided to order a wide instead of regular width, but apparently those are hard to find. So, I ordered a wide Algeria Insole instead and replaced the regular insole with the wide insole. WHAT A DIFFERENCE!! Fits perfectly now, no pain in my feet or legs after a 12 hour shift! So glad these worked for me. I plan on buying another color soon!!

My daughter is a nurse who works 12 hr shifts in the ER. She has had surgery on both feet to correct her toe alignment. While she still suffers from this ailment, finding any shoes to help her with working 12 hr shifts has been next to impossible. She must have a wide width and her restrictions on the position of her heel and toes is greatly limited. I bought her the Palomas in hopes of getting her through a 12 hr shift without coming home in tears. Today was her first day wearing these and she is just elated at how much better she felt after 12 hrs in these shoes! And well, there's just nothing more I can say about Zappos customer service. They are beyond amazing.

I love the colors in this shoe. Unfortunately it is a bit big on me with no sock on. If it stretches it will be huge. Love Zappos and Alagria shoes.

I ordered the Paloma because I have arthritis in my mid foot and look for shoes with support that I can wear all day. These are my go to shoes when I know I'll be on my feet for a long time or when my feet hurt from wearing other shoes. To me they are ugly but cute at the same time. I get compliments constantly. Women stop me in the street to ask me what they are and where to get them. Even my male boss complimented me on these shoes. I have purchased several other pairs of Alegria shoes, and they all seem to fit differently. I normally wear a size 10 medium width and a size 41 in this style fits me well.

Love them. But too big. So returned and ordered a size smaller. In Dansko I wear 39 but in these 38 will be fit better. Cute shoes!

Fantastic shoes yet TOO SHORT for my feet. I wear a 8.5 (even a 8 in Vionic brand) but my toe touched the end of the shoe otherwise these shoes are perfect. There is not too much difference between the Wide and the Medium width.Maybe I could wear the 9-9.5 but am concerned they won't fit.

I'd own every color and style if I only could. Excellent fit and style. LOVE IT

Beautiful, quality shoes...look exactly like the picture online! I am new to Alegria and just bought a few pairs for work. The European sizing seems to leave a gap (35=5-5.5 and 36=6-6.5) and I am solidly in between. For me, the 35's are a better fit, but they are a little small. I'm guessing the leather will stretch a little with wear.

This was my first pair of Alegria's. I wear a size 10 and ordered both the 40 and 41 to try on sizes. 40 was too tight and I kept the 41. I have osteoarthritis of my mid foot and need supportive shoes to be pain-free at the end of the day. Rocker shoes are helpful. I walk a ton and these shoes feel great! They are not the most attractive shoes, but they are fun and great for casualwear. I like the Velcro strap so I can loosen my shoes when my feet swell. They needed a little breaking in for me. I am excited to find Alegrias and ordered an additional pair in a different style two days after trying these.

Adorable shoes. The fun color goes with many different outfits. The top of the shoe cut a bit into my foot at the start but the shoe now fits perfectly. Very comfortable.

I have had these for almost a year and they are one of the most comfortable pairs of shoes I own. I can walk in them all day and my feet don't hurt. I have wide feet and the Alegria Belle in wide wasn't wide enough for me, but the Paloma wide was comfortable out of the box. Love them!

I work in retail and have a partially torn Achilles tendon, edema, bone spurs, and tendinitis in one of my ankles. After trying a multitude of other comfort brands including Danskos, I have found Alegria to be the only shoe I can wear without pain. I wear a 42W and have a high arch, high instep, and soft flexible feet according to my Podiatrist. I have the Dayna professional, Verona, and the Paloma. The Paloma has a thicker sole and feels more rigid to me, which I like. Cons: I would like to see more wide options in other styles, and options or adjustments for those who have a high instep. On the Paloma, because my instep I have the strap adjusted which causes the back of the decorative buckle to irritate my skin occasionslly. I solve this by pressing the buckle back tighter to the leather, I may just remove the buckle, as it is for decoration and not functional. In spite of the cons, I have fallen in love with this brand and become sort of an advocate. This is the only brand that I can Work 9 hours on a marble floor and have no pain! Zappos, love you guys too!

I bought the Alegría Paloma in black hieroglyph. It is very comfortable and can be worn with or without socks. I'm a teacher--on my feet the majority of the day--and my feet feel good in these! This was my first Alegria and it took me a bit to get used to the clunkier look but I got over it due to happy feet and lots of compliments.

The absolute most comfortable shoe ever. Soft inside, full support for lots of walking, and just snug enough not to press on my sore toes. I have a narrow heel and wide toebox, so most shoes for me are too tight on my toes or sloppy-sided. These are perfect. Cute, too, which is vital for my self esteem.

I am normally a Dansko person, but Alegria just gained a fan in me!! These shoes are truly comfortable. I wore them on a 14 hour shift the first day I got them AND MY BACK DIDN'T HURT!!This model has very soft material around the heel edge preventing any discomfort new shoes can sometimes cause. I can't wait for another pair!

This is my first pair of Alegria shoes. I got the Paloma's in the blue color. And they are too cute! I'm in my 50's and people are stopping me asking about them who are much younger than me. I have problem feet. Very narrow, pronate and painful soles. These are so comfortable. The arch support is great and the soles are cushy and create no pain. I was was able to make the strap tight enough for my narrow feet. The only thing I would do differently is order a size up. I am a 10 and got a size 40. My toes come very close to the end. I was afraid with my narrow feet to get a 41, as shoes usually become wider as they are longer.

I read a lot of reviews before purchasing this shoe, and I'm glad I did, since I ended up purchasing a 38 instead of my regular size 39. The quality of the shoe is great, the arch support and overall footbed is fantastic, and I would definitely purchase Alegrias again.
