A revelation! Nerve damage & Plantar Fascitis have allowed only Birks for years. Dansko too hard...Haflinger too wide...etc. But these fit my 8.5 -9 med feet & feel fabulous! (39 med Paloma) Exchanging only for color cause hubby called "Frond" pattern wizardy, but a KEEPER! Can't wait to try other Alegria wide toe box styles.

They were too big, I want to exchange them for a size smaller.

This is a beautiful shoe! The photos cannot show the excellent craftsmanship and materials utilized. I stand all day in my job as a healthcare provider. I had searched “best shoes for nurses” and Alegria had come up in the top. I had previously worn Dansko and Sanita, the latter an excellent brand, but lately my clogs were getting ultra heavy for my tired feet. Wore these yesterday for 10 hours and came home less tired and my feet did not hurt! I am so glad that I found these shoes and I received lots of compliments on my shoes! The color is wonderful and I can see it going with many different outfits outside of work! Zappos shipping is amazing as ever... used the app and received on Monday after ordering on the weekend... so much better than shopping in a store!

I loved the color and design and the kind of rounded bottom. Makes it comfortable to walk. I usually wear a 10 wide and haven't ordered European sizes before. The shoe was a tiny bit too short. I tried ordering the half size bigger but they are out of stock. I will have to return them. I found a sand le I am ordering and am looking for a design in the 41.

This is a gorgeous shoe. I was pleased that it actually would work for my weird size feet (10.5, EE). But you see how the toe tips up? I thought no big deal, let's see how it works. For some people it's probably just fine, but for mine, my toes snapped back and forth inside, it would be literally impossible to take two steps in these. Heartbroken because they are really really cute even though I was a little tiny bit worried they look like clown shoes.

These are beautiful shoes and fit my feet really well, with the exception of hitting my hammer toe in just the wrong (ouch) spot. So, I am returning them and trying out some other styles made by this same shoe company.

I just averaged 7-10 miles a day in Walt Disney World wearing these shoes. Im recovering from severe back muscle spasms and was so worried about our trip. These shoes were AMAZINGLY comfy. They were better than my sneakers, more supportive than my usual favorite Merrell walking shoes. I got home and bought another pair in a different style right away. I think I have a new favorite shoe brand! Also... the colors!!! Love!!!

Put them on and did not care for the pattern

I left a previous review stating that I'd try danskos since these tend to wear down after a year. (Wear down meaning Velcro doesn't hold as well) I'd like to update that review- I tried danskos and Clarks. The Algeria Paloma are simply the best. I'm on my feet sometimes 8 hours straight at work, and I forget I have shoes on when wearing these. Even if they need to be reordered once a year, it's worth every penny to have shoes that feel like heaven. Oh and by the way- Zappos is the best! Thank you for being so cool with my returns and reorders. YOU ARE THE BEST

This was my first of this brand of shoe. Absolutely love it. I usually wear a 10.5 in a wide width. I returned them for a half a size up. I strongly recommend you try these for yourself. Love Zappos. ??????

Finally! A shoe that is incredibly comfortable and does NOT look like corrective shoes. I have problem feet with two different issues that usually need arch support and a roomy toe box. These fit the bill! I wear a 9 1/2 and often buy wide shoes for my bunion. I bought the regular width in a size 40. There’s enough room to wear a pair of socks. I was looking for a stylish shoe I can wear with jeans and cords. I found them! My feet are so happy!!

I love this shoe. I have a hard time finding shoes for my flat feet and narrow heels, combined with the common issue of one foot being slightly longer and slimmer than the other. At first I wasn't sure if this shoe was going to work, because on one foot the top "U" shaped cut-out kind of dug into the top of my foot. I took a chance by having a local shoe repair place stretch the top just a bit - and it worked! I could wear these shoes all day. I love the rocker bottom and the arch support I get in these. So nice to have a shoe that you get compliments on as well, instead of wearing something that provides great arch support but is hideously ugly. It's getting cold here in Michigan, so I just ordered a more closed, loafer style from Alegria, and crossing my fingers that I will fall in love with that as well.

I'm on my feet a lot at work and I have sasquatch feet so finding a comfortable shoe is difficult. I've been wearing these for 2 weeks straight and my feet feel great! I will be getting more shoes of this brand for sure. The strap crosses my foot comfortably and the wide fit leave enough room for my toes.

I really liked them. Similar to Danskos' but with the Mary Jane strap not as clogish and your feet don't lift out. I have Morton's Neuroma with a ganglion (ouch) so I really can't stand any compression either direction. Can't even wear socks. Also, have a bunion so super wide feet. So these were pain free. Liked the rocker souls, tend to foster forward motion. Sending a pair to my niece who has CP. I hope to start a collecting them.

I love these shoes: The way they look and the way they fit. But they squeak! Is there any way to stop them from squeaking?

So cute! My feet are narrow, but this medium is a good fit! Other brands that work for me in medium are Josef seibel, Nurture, merrill and Romanik. I can't tolerate shoes that are not comfortable. Love the Mary Jane style. Love the beautiful brown leather. Thinking maybe i should go ahead and purchase replacement insoles, because i think i will be wearing these a lot! Like many of the reviewers, i spend a lot of my day on my feet and need a shoe that has support and comfort.

These are great- my feet feel good. Decent arch support.

Now I know what walking on Cloud Nine feels like. My feet are comfortable, cushioned, swaddled and there is great arch support. The Embossed Rose is classy and can be worn at work or more casually. I have had heel pain and nephropathy. Inserts have helped a little, but nothing like this. I also appreciate the process of filtering by Zappos for just the right shoe. And they have shoes for wide feet no less. This is only my second Zappos order and I couldn't be happier. I must be because I rarely right reviews.

I love the Paloma shoe and have another pair. I didn't like the pattern on this shoe so I will return and select another one. I have "problem" feet and the Alegria is a problem solver for aching knees and hips. AND, a great big thanks to Zappos for their return policy :)

I got the earthen color and love it! Years ago, I asked a cashier about her beautiful and very interesting looking shoes..She told me they were Alegria... Back then I though kind of expensive, but now that I have struggled with foot problems, find that cost doesn't matter so much, just comfort.. With these shoes, I get comfort and a fashionable, good looking shoe, that I now get compliments on... The earthen color, goes well with jeans and can dress up or down..

I love these shoes. So comfortable. My only complaint is that one of the peace medallions fell off :(. I couldn't reattach it so I just took the other one off. How I wish it could have stayed on.

Oh, how I love this shoe! So comfortable and stable! I could wear them right out of the box and I've been wearing them for days. Worth every penny. I have 2 pair of these wonderful shoes and will buy more!

I ordered two sizes in this shoe. They are comfortable and relieve the "problem knee" I'm plagued with in other shoes. I kept the larger size 41, even though I liked the print on the size 40. The sizing charts all pointed to a size 40 for me, but in this shoe a size up is the better fit.

Have worn Dansko's for the last 15 years. I'm a nurse who works 12 hours shifts, and need A shoe with arch support. I'm not sure if my feet changed, or Dansko changed their shoe, but my feet were not comfortable anymore in them. Ordered a 38 in the Paloma, very comfortable, except my toes on my right foot felt tight in the toe box. Did some research, decided to order a wide instead of regular width, but apparently those are hard to find. So, I ordered a wide Algeria Insole instead and replaced the regular insole with the wide insole. WHAT A DIFFERENCE!! Fits perfectly now, no pain in my feet or legs after a 12 hour shift! So glad these worked for me. I plan on buying another color soon!!
