I really like these shoes. They are cute looking and very comfortable. The arch support is amazing! I wear a size 5.5 and this European size 35 does very well especially as you can easily adjust the velcro closure. I did try another version with a thinner sole but they did not fit as well. I also purchased sandals that I am pleased with.

These are my second pair of Alegria shoes - and I think my favorite so far! Literally zero break-in time! Comfort straight from the box! I wear a 7.5 - 8.5 US size, I ordered a 38, and they fit perfectly! The strap is so comfortable, keeping them snug on my foot! I usually wear open back shoes and was afraid that this may bother my heel or rub my ankles - but no rubbing! I ordered on Saturday - they arrived on Monday! Wow!

Ordered the Paloma Embossed Blue, gorgeous shoe, unfortunately my mild hammer toe condition prevented me from even getting my feet all the way into them. I had ordered a size larger then I normally wear just to overcome this problem but the shoes still were too small. Be advised that if you have high arches or any, even very mild, hammer toe, you will not be able to wear these shoes. There is very little space between the insert and the top of the shoe in the toe area. I have to give this shoe 5 stars in style as it is a great looking shoe but only one star in fit.

Alegria Paloma is the most comfortable shoe I have ever worn. The thickness of the insole is so high, much higher than any orthotic I've seen. Then there's the beautiful color. My first pair is Tortoise and it's gorgeous, going with all colors. My 2nd pair is my favorite color purple - in Plum Patent, another gorgeous. After seeing these beautiful color lined in glove soft leather I can't settle for the black or brown leathers. My son said they look just like some shoes a little girl he knows wears. These Mary Janes are terrific, the feel of an orthopedic shoe in a classic pretty shoe.

The shoes are very comfortable I recomendable them to improve Foot problems in my case I have affected a meniscus and with these shoes I can Walk Much Better ??????????

Miracles in a Shoebox-Absolutely love these shoes! The floral design on the patent material is so outstanding and beautiful. The adorable appearance of these shoes coupled with the incredible comfort make them one of my new favorites. I can wear these for hours and not notice I have shoes on.

This shoe is super comfortable. Really cute with almost anything. If you order the Blue Pebble, be forewarned that it is a bit sparkly.

This was my 1st buying experience with Alegria shoes, but not my 1st with Zappos.com. I am happy to report my complete satisfaction with both. The shoes did take a few days to break in but within a week they are my absolute favorite pair. Well worth the money. And, as always, Zappos shipping & customer service proved top-notch. It's so nice to have a worry-free buying experience each & every time!

I finally found the Alegria shoe style that fits! I love these shoes. I have a slight bunion on one foot and the toe box in this shoe feels marvelous! I am so happy with these shoes. I found that I do have to wear a half size larger than other shoes, but who cares when they feel this good. Zappos has been wonderful in my search for the right shoe with all my returns. I love Zappos and the pricing is great too!

This is my favorite style of Alegrias. The comfort is amazing but I have to wear band aids on my ankles because the sides cut into them when I wear them without socks. The problem does go away after they stretch out. It's well worth the trouble because once they break in my feet are in heaven!

Holy Freaking Wow. I gave up running over the last two years after slipping and developing bursitis in the ball of my left foot. The burning sensation could only be stopped by wearing hard orthotics in my shoes which made my arches sore. Today I got these awesome looking Palomas (the silvery snake luster pattern has an iridescence like bubbles) and my feet feel awesome without any orthotics. Toe box is super roomy, and the shoe doesn't look "ducky" at all. I wear an 8 to 8 1/2 in sneakers and these size 38 shoes fit perfectly. So happy. Can't wait to actually be able to wear a sandal this summer...looking to buy another pair. The price was worth it.

Very cute, lots of compliments. Comfy for my foot that has a bunion. Can wear all day and into the evening without pain.

Wore these right out of the box - did not need the backup shoes. My high school students went wild over these cuties. I wore them with a bright orange top and black pants. This is my first pair of Alegria and it definitely won't be my last! For any person who is on their feel all day these shoes are a must!

These in size 36 fit perfectly out of the box! I originally ordered size 37 (that's what I wear for Sanita and Naot), but they were too big. I have trouble finding shoes that are all-day comfortable, and these really are great. I will be buying more Alegria's for sure. Only one caution, the sole is a little slippery at first.

So far so good. Shoe runs a little small, so if you wear a half size, you might consider going up a size.

It took me several sizes and styles to find an Alegria that fit me and didn't slip. This was totally worth it! (Luckily, Zappos is tolerant!) The color is unique and just what I needed for a trip to France.

Loved the color and pattern. I have several Alegria shoes which have corrected by plantar fascitis. I recommend them for anyone who is on their feet all day. They are fashionable too in a homespun sort of way.

I really wanted to like these shoes. I am a huge fan of the Mary Jane style. Unfortunately these were just too tight across the top of my toes. I ended up choosing the Alegria Debra style, which just seemed to fit my foot better. The support of these shoes felt amazing. I am a size 8-8.5 and ordered the size 38. Wish it didn't dig into my toes, because this was my first choice!

I bought these shoes to walk around London. They did the trick and kept my feet from hurting from all our walking. However, the back of the right shoe rubbed against my heel painfully and eventually ended up bleeding. I tried putting in a heel lift and other things, but it still hit my ankle painfully. What a disappointment!! I doubt I'll ever be able to wear them again.

Fit true to sized feels great I often wonder why my sister have all the colors shapes and size. I was convinced after reading all the reviews. I work as a Dental Assistant I need support. After 2 weeks of wearing these shoes I was compelled to send in my comments. I went back on the site and they were make down again I spoke with a lovely customer service representative named Jason and received the price adjustment thanks.

Putting these shoes on to go to work feels like I am slipping into a fitted slipper. And it only gets better after time. Cork insoles will form to your feet after long wear. The arch is well supported. The strap allows the shoe to be loosened on days when my feet swell or just need more breathing room. This is my second pair of Alegria Paloma. Its improved with a folded soft leather over the back of the heel. The last forever and worth every penny.

I teach and have achy feet every day thanks to bunions. These shoes have been a game changer! They are roomy, cushioned, and supportive. I usually buy a wide width but these are so roomy the regular width was fine. I can spend a full day on my feet without the pain, which I am thankful for. If you have to be on your feet, these are worth the money.

I’m glad I bought these shoes! I have a lot of foot problems. I usually wear black, supportive but boring shoes because they are my only option. I wear an odd size and I need wide shoes, so I’m usually out of luck when I’m shopping because anything cute is generally not available in my size or in wide width. I have a wonderful pair of Allegria clogs, so when I saw these, I decided I would try them. The shape is a little clunky, but I love the blue pattern and the touch of metallic blue. I’m long past the desire to look stylish or fashionable, but these make me feel happy. They are comfortable and they are truly good quality.

My Podiatrist suggested this shoe for me. After hesitation on the price, I decided to go for it. I am glad that I did. I truly love this shoe. And would recommend it to you.
