I wish these worked for me. They are comfortable and lightweight but I have big ankles and when I walk the shoe rubs against it. Blisters.

The Paloma's are very cute. However, if you have wide feet or a bunion these shoes are not for you. I wore them to work and by the end of the day my feet were throbbing. If you have a normal width they would probably be quite comfortable.

These shoes felt a half size smaller, but the width was fine. I liked them in the picture, but I thought they were ugly when I got them out of the box. I couldn't see myself wearing them anywhere. Thank you, Zappos, for the free shipping and returns. I buy almost all my shoes from Zappos, and their service is outstanding.

I own several pairs of Alegria, as it seems to be one of very few brands that I can actually wear for more than 5-10 minutes without incurring pain with my problematic feet. However, these shoes - as beautiful as they were - caused an instant agony!!! Though I ordered them in "WIDE" and half-a-size bigger, the toe box felt so tight across and on top of my toes, they had to be removed within first 5 minutes of wearing them. Also, this particular style did not possess the lightweight feel on your feet - very heavy, which also added to the great discomfort. Great looking shoe, fantastic, signature Alegria wedge sole, but none of the comfort we have grown accustomed to expect.

I'm a nurse in my 50's and have recently developed plantar fasciitis. I've been wearing sneakers but wanted something a little more stylish. I read great reviews about these shoes and they are really cute. They felt very comfortable wearing them around the house, but I must say I'm very disappointed. I've worn them for three 12 hour shifts and not only were my feet very sore by the end of each day, by the 3rd day I had terrible lower back and hip pain as well. So I am back to my ugly Hoka One One Stinson Tarmac sneakers. They are available on this site and are a little pricey (and ugly), but if you are on your feet all day, I truly haven't found anything more comfortable.

I love the comfort these shoes offer, but the patent is already cracking, which is ridiculous based on the price paid. I'm very disappointed that only 5 months of wear has been offered by this pair of shoes.

I am a nurse and these shoes provide great arch support and are very comfortable. They are super cute and I have gotten lots of compliments when wearing them. However, they have started to crack and I will be returning them. I have another pair of Alegrias that I absolutely love and they haven't cracked yet. I love these shoes but sad that this pair didn't hold up.

I have had these shoes for about 5 months. I have worn them fewer than 10 times. They are very cute, but the film which has the flower design is starting to crackle and come off right in the break of the shoe (where it bends when walking). I am disappointed that this has happened in such a short time, especially considering the price.

I wore these to my granddaughters graduation and they ruined my day. My feet were so sore!! They also caused me to walk funny and I kept getting horrible cramps in my leg. It is also a problem putting them on as the strap keeps closing before you can get your foot in. When I got home my feet were more swollen than I have ever seen them.

There’s so much I love about these shoes. But. I owned a pair of Palomas years ago and got frustrated because, the longer I owned them, the more noise they made—creaking and squeaking I could not find the source of—and I tried everything to resolve it. Sadly, in spite of improvements to the insole, these new Palomas still squeak HORRIBLY. Both shoes. It’s worse when it’s humid, and I live in a humid place. I don’t get it. And I can’t stand it.

They seemed comfortable for the few hours I wore them, and I liked that they were adjustable, but when I removed them I realized I had blisters starting on top of each of my two bunions, on both feet. I wasn't even wearing them snug. They also caused the big toes joints in my feet to hurt for two days afterwards, and undid all of the stretching I have done to improve my plantar fascitis. In short, these shoes were terrible for me, but I have problem feet. If you do too, I suggest you pass on these. The rounded part hits your big toe joints in a bad bad way, and the pain isn't worth it.

The insole is almost flat, no arch support. The bottom is rigid (It looks spongy in the video), no shock absorption. It's also wider than the picture like duck feet. Where are those 5 stars coming from? Returning this.

Size 39 should fit generously on me. I hoped to wear these with new, thin metatarsal cushioning pads. Instead, the shoes are stiff and immediately cut into the top of my foot at the edges of the toe area. The toe box also felt snug, in spite of the broad appearance of the shoe itself. Returning immediately.

I desperately wanted to love these shoes. I liked the way they looked but the first time I wore them they hurt the tops of my feet and gave me blisters. After reading all the awesome reviews I expected these to be like walking on heaven. Not the case at all. Despite wearing well padded socks these shoes rubbed the tops of my feet where the strap lays over and gave me blisters at the base of my big toe and right where the strap sits. I tried to loosen them, tighten them, any way it just hurt. I don't think that my feet are a whole lot different from the average woman's foot but who knows. Definitely couldn't wear these for any of my 12 hour shifts at the hospital. I considered keeping them to see if they break in a little but for the price I don't think I should have to endure blisters and uncomfortable feet all day until they do. I'm really disappointed and will be sending these back and trying Danskos instead.

This shoe is so adorable. Unfortunately, I based my purchase on the rave reviews it got. This shoe took forever to wear in. The bottom and sole are so hard that it had my feet in constant pain

I totally disagree with the other reviews (and this is where we all differ) in that the shoes felt half size smaller instead of larger to me and they were not comfortable at all. The seam hit the top of my foot at it's widest point and dug into my skin. I'm glad I didn't order a size smaller because I wouldn't have gotten the shoe on. They were also very stiff and didn't give/bend at all. I am returning for a refund.

I was so excited to get these shoes! I purchased them in the cute silver paisley print. What a disappointment to have to return them. They were great comfort wise when I put them on, but 10 hours into my shift and skin/blisters on my left foot on the toes. Overall, they were unfit for a 12 hour shift as my feet couldn't wait to get out of them before my shift ended. Even worse, the silver paisley print had rubbed off in a big portion on the toe area.

I was very unhappy with my Alegrias, because the velcro went bad and Alegria never answered my complaint. I had to pay to repair the velcro. AND I haven't worn them that often. Lemons!

LOVE my Alegrías. So comfortable and so supportive even after having plates and screws in my foot following surgery. They last forever with the replaceable footbed. The only shoes I buy. Enjoy the fun colors and patterns. This pair took me many miles in Venice on uneven surfaces. These are my go to travel shoes.

I love the Paloma style and have 11 of them. This is the first pair to have a problem. Something with the left shoe pinching over the top. Hmmm. But I reordered them and the new pair is perfect. These are awesome shoes. My favorite. And a side note, the button on the Napa black is not the huge one in the picture. It’s a nice sophisticated flat design. Beautiful. I was very surprised when I received it. It’s sooo much nicer and the one in the picture almost kept me from ordering the Napa black. I love it.
