I love my Alegrias. Like most RNs I work a 12 hour shift and my feet do not hurt as much when I wear these.

First, what I love: The oil-slick snake/gator pattern is remarkably neutral and coordinates well with anything I wear. Zero break-in period Soft and breathable insole Soft uppers that molded to my bunions by the second day I wore them. Cons: I have flat feet so while the insole is supposed to mold itself to your foot, it's not going to provide me with any substantial arch support. I plan to buy an arch cookie to glue to the inside of the shoe (I've done this successfully w/ other shoes - Tacco is an excellent choice). Misc: This shoe runs a bit wide b/c normally standard (medium) width shoes are a smidge too tight due to my bunions and these were not. Also, I usually wear a size 41 and in this brand, a 41 was way too big. The 40 is perfect. I am a nurse and wear these for work. The leather in this pattern is softer than the ones with patent type uppers which I found to be very stiff.

I am so excited over the Embossed Blue Alegria I received last week. I had previously worn the embossed brown. And a brown leather for two years with scrubs with brown and a color, I felt they were the most comfortable work shoe I had ever worn. They were the only shoe I can wear and not have my feet and legs hurt at the end of a busy 12 hour shift. After changing jobs 3 months ago and working at a hospital that wears Only Navy and White scrubs, I missed my Alegria shoes so much. My body felt exhausted . I saw the embossed Blue and was hesitant they would not look good with Navy. They are beautiful. I have so many compliments on them. My feet feel wonderful. When I started wearing the brown ones, several people ordered them after seeing how cute they are, I expect these will be the new status symbol for Navy Scrubs. My daughter wears the wine and roses shiny patent with Navy scrubs and thinks they were the best birthday gift ever. She and I both thought the style that did not have the cut outs near the buckles were a little narrow, and we neither have wide feet. She got the liners for a wide width. They are so cute they can be worn by anyone. Can't wait to get another pair.

These are the most comfortable slip-on shoes I own! I'm considering more in different colors!

I do hair for a living and these are wonderful for work. If you have a narrow foot you will love the close fit. I ordered a regular width and they run narrow in my opinion. Very comfortable shoe with or without socks.

I purchased my first pair of Alegria shoes in Frida Patent because they were cute and half price. I have plantar fasciitis and high arches. Therefore, I have a difficult time finding shoes that give me orthodic support and don't rub blisters on my arches, toes or bunion area. I love these shoes! They were comfortable right from the start and no matter how long I wear them, I have no foot pain. I might add that I wear Orthaheel sandals. Tried their shoes and they rubbed my bunion area. I'll be buying many more pairs of Alegria. They are fun shoes that always elicit comments from other women. Thanks Alegria for a wonderful shoe that is fun, affordable and, most of all, fun.

If you love Dansko, you will love these! I have to say that I think these are even more comfortable than my favorite Dansko shoes! I normally wear a size 7.5, and wear a size 37 perfectly in the Alegria. They are really cute and padded and comfortable enough to stand and walk in all day. Worth the money!

I love these shoes. Work 12 1/2 hour shifts in them and they were great from night one.

I love the shoes. I love the color and need to get a second pair to make them last longer. I ordered a size up, and they fit great.

Very comfortable right out of the box. I wore them for a whole day teaching and my feet felt great the whole day. I had to wear a very thin sock though, not as much room as might think.

One word, heaven... but you need to periodically change out the inserts!

Very comfortable shoes for a winter in Florida. Yes, folks it does get chilly here sometimes. I was afraid the shoe had black in the color, it's a dark blue mixed with a lighter blue.

Great shoe....I have 5 pair and get lots of complements. They are supper comfortable and the cork insole conforms to your foot. The sizing might run a tiny bit small, but I take a size 9 and the 39 fits me perfectly. If you have a narrow foot, I find that the buckle will let you adjust it enough so that it is not too wide.

They are lightweight,and extremely comfortable, oh and did I mention the color is terrific they go with any color your wearing!

These are the most comfortable shoes I have ever had! I am a nurse and on my feet all day. By the end of the day, my feet feel better than when I started working. The arch support is amazing. And they do not make you feel like you are standing or walking in an unnatural state. The best shoes ever!

These are super cute, and they look pretty wide. But when I tried them on they are just not wide enough. Unfortunately, they are going back. As per usual Zappos is really great about returns. Yeah Zappos!!

Absolutely the coolest shoes I've seen in a long time! I wasn't sure when I ordered these and when I opened the box I couldn't believe how awesome they looked. Picture doesn't do them justice. The footbed is so comfy and the look is so different. I am very sad my feet are too wide for them. Wish they were wide like Birkenstocks! If you have an average width foot you should be fine and if you want something different from everyone else and these are top notch!

Although they make your foot look fat, they are perfect for work. I am a nurse and I love them.

Fun shoe -- neat look (chocolate embossed rose), good comfortable leather, wonderful fit with no break-in, instep well supported, and the footbed feels like a pillow. I'll probably buy another in a different color.

Bulky platypus-bill chrome looking shoes that scream, look at me! If I had not lost my receipt, would have returned. That would have been a shame, because after finally getting my nerve up to wear to work, I was sold on them. Even though they are not the usual Deep foamy cushiony kind of soft shoe I seek out for my 12-hour shifts, these clodhoppers are the most amazingly comfortable brogans I ever had. My feet don't hurt after being on them all day in these. I am going to try the less flashy, lower-to-the-ground version too (the Alegria that looks more like a Mary-Jane) next.

Very comfortable shoe that requres no break-in period. I wear 8.5 and had to exchange size 38 for a 39. Zappos is a very customer-friendly site and the free shipping both ways is a real bonus.

I really wanted a pair of these, but after trying three different colors of the Classic I've decided to give up for several reasons. I'm not fond of patent leather, and the shoes (even the fabric style) each contain some of this shiny leather. I have wide feet, and because of the construction of the Classic, my feet looked wider than ever. There's a lip that runs around the whole toe box which adds to the width of the shoe. These are so comfortable though, with great arch support, so I can understand why they're popular with nurses. I also thought they ran a bit warm -- even sitting in them at home I had to kick them off occasionally to let my feet cool off. A really unique, comfortable clog for someone, just not me!
