I ordered this in a 40. I read mixed reviews on sizing and 39 was not in stock at the time at Zappos so I ordered the 40. They were too big. For reference, I wear a 39 in Dansko and my other Alegria shoes of different styles are 39. These are so cute and fun, the leather is black and the bottom is a fake wood grain. The buckle is a regular one, not velcro. Sadly I had to return them for a 39.

I have Morton’s Neuromas in both feet. Needed a shoe with great arch support and a wide toe box. These shoes are great! I do feel like Allegrias run a half size smaller than other shoes. Had to size up. Very happy with the overall look.

Love, Love, Love these shoes. Very comfortable. I stand all day at work and wore these to work today. I had no problems being on my feet in these. Definitely will buy more pairs of Alegria's. Very comfortable and I like the style.

I already have a pair of Algeria sandal type shoes which fit great and are very comfortable. I had to return these as I found them to be too tight across the top of my foot. Width was OK but not much space top to bottom.

I love this shoe. I had another pair several years ago which I wore to work. When I retired, I started wearing mostly athletic shoes. I needed a nicer pair of shoes for activities where I would be on my feet standing for awhile. These are perfect. As soon as I put these on and stand, it feels like my back goes into proper alignment and I can stand for much longer without lower back pain.

This is the one brand of shoe I can put on out of the box and just go, all day. My 3rd pair of Alegrias, and I generally love their fit. The sandals I bought over the summer are not quite as awesome as these and another pair of shoes I bought 3 years ago. No one would call these shoes "cute", but they are comfortable enough without being totally ugly or athletic to keep me coming back to them.

This shoe looks great but one of them seems to be more embossed than the other!

Didn't think I would, but I love these shoes! I had surgery for a broken ankle in October 2017 and have been looking for a shoe I can wear around the house like slippers as winter approaches. I can no longer wear moccasins, have tried a half dozen other shoes, and finally found what I need in the Alegria Classic: slip on/off, great arch support, ample toe box, comfortable, and my heel doesn't flop. I wear them with lightweight socks to keep my feet warm. I wore a size 38 before surgery but now need a 39 to accommodate my foot when it swells. After adjusting the buckle, the 39s fit perfectly. Love this brand and style!

Stylish pattern. The shoes smell like chemicals when I first took them out of the box, but that subsided after a day.

First of all, Kudos to Zappo! Their customer service is very good and the returns are easy. I have 2 pair of Alegria sandals which I love. I found out when ordering clogs I had to go up a size because of wearing a sock. I really like the pattern and the comfort these shoes give me. Try them, you will like them!!!

I love the style. Very fun design. The only thing that took a bit to get use to was my left second toe rubbed on the top. It improved after the third wear. They are so comfy and arch support is so nice, especially wearing all day. Great for work or play??.

Per usual my alegria shoes were a perfect fit right out of the box.....really like the lighter colored sole for the summer months...............color is great .... no one really knows they are "birds" ... very pleased

The fit and size are true. Nice box fit for my wide feet. I do like the rocker feel which works well due to problematic feet. The material and style are nice, will go with casual pants, skirts & shorts. So many colors and prints to choose from.

I have been buying Alegria Rocker sole shoes for over 10 years. Equilibrium is helped so much since my surgery.. Wish I could afford one pair of every stlye they make. When I first bought Alegria Brand it was approx, 13 years ago and the mfg. only had 3 styles but now there are 20 if not more. Fantastic shoes. ***********************************

Love my Birdland shoes, stained-glass gorgeous! I wear 8.5 consistently for which Alegria suggests size 38 but it's 39 that fits me correctly.

The color/pattern name "Liberty Love" is very shiny! It is shinier than these images depict. The "brightness" factor is somewhat toned down though, color-wise, due to the black background. It's a very pretty pattern/print. I like the 70's "retro" look to them. If you don't mind the shine, I recommend the "Liberty Love" color option. These make 3 now in my Alegria Classic Clog collection.

Normally I? wear 6.5 or 7. This fit perfect as 36, which they state is 6 to 6.5. So it must run large. It feels great wearing it.

I take a size 9 1/2. Zappos listed that size as a 39. It is the wrong size. 9-9 1/2 half is a 40 according to the Alegria site.They feel great, but are too small.

True to size, super comfy out of the box. Look good dressed up or with any style of jean. Have been asked ‘Where did you get Them?’ more than once! And they are well made. What more can you ask for???

I really liked the look of these shoes, but I needed to be able to wear them with socks, and these were just too small. They were perfect for sockless feet, but now that we're entering the fall, not really practical. I even ordered a half size up! Maybe I'll try them again one day in the future in a whole size larger, because they are pretty cool looking.

The buckle-fastening strap is long enough to adjust for my high instep. I find this shoe very comfortable. I think I might order some more in other colors!
