The Bad: the material around the inner ankle digs into your skin. It is fine if you make no lateral movement at all, but not all surfaces are level. Also, there is no arch support. The Good: completely waterproof. I used them for snow shoeing (12 miles round trip) and my feet were completely dry. Also, they are light weight. Overall: I would recommend them for walking around in the city or short, easy hikes. They look great! The boot shaft is narrow so I recommend wearing leggings with them. These are not boots to stuff your jeans into.

I did not like the look of these upon opening the box. The foot bed is not as black as in the photo and looks quite simply like plastic. The plastic foot bed doesn't appear to go well/mesh with the brown and orange upper boot. I did not try them on so I cannot comment on the fit, or warmth, or weatherproofing.

So I was very happy with my boots. I have had them for four months and this morning when I went to put on my boots, the zipper snapped off. Yep, it is completely broken. I am so disappointed that I spent so much on a pair of boots that did not even last one season. Now I am screwed for the rest of the winter. Do not buy these.
